A sanctioned aframax has been delayed in India over insurance checks.

Discharge of a Russian Espo crude cargo for Indian Oil Corp (IOC) was postponed at the north-eastern port of Paradip due to a hold-up in an online verification of its cover, three sources told Reuters.

India tightened insurance rules for vessels calling at its ports earlier this year. The focus is on checking older and shadow fleet ships.
