Just find a genre that you're interested and go from there. If you're fine with whatever just start of with cowboy bebop and death note, they're bith only one season long each and were a hit with people that aren't fans of anime.

Kaiji. It's probably one of the few tranimes that depicts losers well and most of it's themes are pretty "asocial". I've also heard from normalGOYS that the artstyle is too "ugly" because everyone is drawn stylized but realistically gross. Pretty good watch if you're trying to asocialmaxx without watching loser tranny core like watamote that'll probably make some asocialGOD become a fag.

Check these out. The bulk of these are from this >>109628 post written for OP there (who wanted "good anime that doesn't make me feel like a faggot") with special considerations for him, going a step beyond merely not giving him any faggy or trannoid animes: "excluded are animes that aren't faggy or trannoid but whose fanbases got infested with trannies which warped your perception them - and also excluded are animes that are good and wholesome but may feel childish to watch" – with those considerations five were excluded for that post: namely Heidi, Nadia, Kino no Tabi, Haibane Renmei and Azumanga Daioh. They're present here. Some other animes weren't and aren't excluded as such, but instead aren't present due to other reasons (like for example the anime isn't good enough, or is technically well-made but promotes faggotry, or some other special reason). A few lack nyaa releases for various reasons (like it's either questionable which release is truly the best quality, or there's a problematic situation like with Hellsing for which all currently-available releases look bad except the recent BD Remux but that BD is horizontally stretched a bit).

Playback guide:

Play with MPC-BE with ffdshow raw video filter (as an External Filter within MPC-BE) and therein adjust the Picture Properties and (or PP only) Levels (with Force RGB) to whatever looks good for you. You can simply use the two Levels sliders and increase Saturation, or instead of brightening via Levels and using Saturation you can raise the Gamma corr slider in PP by a lot and then correct that excessive brightness via the left (darkness) slider in Levels (an effect of this is colors are increased without Saturation being used); can be the better way sometimes. Keep Levels beneath PP.

Always remember nearly any anime – especially those not computer-made, those transferred from film – can benefit from having its colors strengthened and its brightness-darkness levels modified. For instance for Cobra use something like Saturation 76 in Picture Properties and 20—240 in Levels. Be careful to not overdo these things (for any anime), or you'll crush bright and dark details and make the colors look wrong. What settings are appropriate varies from anime to anime; what looks best for one anime isn't the best for another.

Here is a simple guide written for total anime noobs (people with zero experience playing anime on their computers):

• Use MPC-BE from:

• Install ffdshow from:

• Start MPC-BE
• Go into "Options"
• Go to "Video" and select "Enhanced Video Renderer (custom presenter)" and there set "Resizer" to "Lanczos3" (beware: while "Bicubic A=-1.0" is the sharpest, it causes the most ringing artifacts)
• Go to "External Filters" and there "Add Filter…"
• There add "ffdshow raw video filter", then select "Prefer"
• To access the ffdshow options (to be able to use ffdshow's extremely powerful "Picture Properties" and "Levels" which when set wisely can dramatically improve how an anime looks), play a video and rightclick and go to "Filters" and click "ffdshow raw video filter"
