Anyone else strictly use OLD.bitchute besides me? NEW ui was always inferior to me in many ways, but today I found a new one when a cookie clear put me back on NEW Bitchute. If you go to any category and then click on the ALL tab... it is VERY FAR from "all", more like one or two per day. If you do the same with OLD, All of the videos indeed get loaded. WTF is the point of an ALL tab that does not show ALL? what "algo" determines those few that ARE shown? Seems a rapid degradation into Just another agenda pusher, narrative driver, soft censor, that does little but attract and then track radicals like poorly disguised MI6Spooks

I guess I'm going by Youtube experience where will at least get hundreds to a thousand views per video even with no engagement so I get it my videos aren't universal or anything but on Bitchute there is like 2-3 views per video. Does anyone know how Bitchute presents videos to people? I just wish I knew if people were seeing titles and thumbnails and just saying, "No." or if they aren't seeing them at all. Any ideas?

I wonder if they want people to keep posting videos and the more there are the more they start showing people the thumbnails? What do you think?

For some reason, when the video ads interrupt a Bitchute video, or I get an ad at the start of a video, I literally only get the audio. In the ad I might hear someone saying something about "click the link below to get product" or something of the sort, but without the video, I also don't have whatever the in-video clickable link is, either. At that, I would figure there could be some sort of skip-the-ad button at a certain point into the ad, like I see with Youtube ads, but there's nothing like that appearing for me either.

Why am I not getting the video of these ads? This is on Opera One.

Ublock origin recently did an update that breaks the upload button, adblock plus interferes with autoplay etc. Bitchute allows to disable ads for free from settings, interface. Of course it is recommended to buy a membership otherwise the site just goes belly up and goodbye.

Have tried a few things to see what is going on, the last 10 days or so. Came here to scan for a thread on this, nothing, so I am posting. Anyone have any intel as to why they did this??

From what I can tell the current tutorial on their site is for an older/different version from my androids and I seem to be stuck with a strange default username and profile picture. Additionally is there a time restriction on making a channel? Made an account but the button to make a channel is greyed out and unresponsive. Sorry if I sounded foolish but this just is not as something I've any experience with.

Whenever I hit the play button there is the loading circle but nothing happens. After a while it reports some playback issue and that i should check my internet connection. This happens on both old and new bitchute. Except that on new one when i click play button the video window turns black and stays like that.

I keep getting "error during upload".

It happened to multiple videos recently. Playing fine, then pausing for no reason at exactly 7:02. Clicking unpause works fine, and video continues without any issues. What is going on?

I upload a video, then switch it to published, but when I check again later on it says it went back to being unpublished. Why does this happen?

Bitchute has always been insufferable. If you can actually make it past the upload screen, then one could expect to wait an hour or two. This has gotten so much worse recently. I'm not sure if it still works. I tried for 3 hours to upload a tiny 3 minute one and the only one that eventually made it was an experimental version where the video portion was replaced with a blank screen. Not more then a month ago I could upload big files an hour or two long without waiting two long, but now no matter when I start the process, if it does eventually publish it's going to be 3 AM when no one is there to see it.

Is there something wrong on my end? Has anyone else noticed 3-4 hour processing times at least? Seems if I want to try and get in by midnight I'll have to start early in the morning.

The entire system is so picky. Sometimes it doesn't like the thumbnail, sometimes it doesn't like any text in the description until after it's fully uploaded. If while waiting I converted my WMV to an MP4, delete the WMV, and start a new upload of the MP4, it will never make it past 100% uploaded. In that case I have to move the file to a different folder and start there.

It's just so insanely picky. Half the battle is getting past the upload screen, but lately nothing I do works. I can't even risk leaving the description blank or using a blank thumbnail Its pretty much gotten to where I upload something, check back in the next couple hours, invariably see other uploads that would've been PERFECT neighbors to my video appearing, and then check back tomorrow and see it got through with no picture and description and no one saw it.

As the platform grows, and continues to attract all these Christians who "cross land and sea to make one convert and make him twice the child of hell," by constantly reuploading the same video over and over again, if you want to upload anything on Bitchute, you better start processing the video a week early, and hope that your thumbnail and description isn't causing an internal error.

In the past there has been times when I just try reuploading with more simple file name, or no descpripton text, or simple thumbnail and it gets in while the other one doesn't. I am losing hope. Nothing is working anymore. It's been 3 hours. Can't get in until no one is watching, if at all.

From settings under interface you can switch off ads (uncheck third party) if you do so consider purchasing a membership to support the site because it is an important revenue source for the site.

I like the look and feel of the new UI, but it broke one of the basic features I use all the time. When I click on notifications bell, middle mouse click a link in the dropdown list should open the link in a new tab, but instead it marks it as read and removes it from the list.

I can still right click and select "open in new tab", or even use middle button in the "all notifications" page , but not in the notifications dropdown. I can't find any configuration for this behavior, but if anyone knows a solution that'll be great.

I've been syncing to my bitchute account from YouTube for years. That last sync was for five or so videos on July 17th, 2024. And none since. This was shortly after the new layout. Related? I no longer even see any option for YouTube syncing in any menu. What happened?

(Rumble wrote months ago that YouTube stopped cooperating with their syncing. Though Odysee, even under new management, still syncs just fine.)

When trying to log into BitChute, a prompt pops up saying that I need to verify the email address even though that was done years ago. Account is very active with uploads nearly every day. It also says to check the email for verification but nothing gets sent to the address.

I've been getting spammed a lot suddenly with updates from channels I subscribed to, and want to unsubscribe from e-mail alerts. I have to log in to do so and forgot my password. I'm entering the e-mail that I'm getting the notifications on into the password reset form. Nothing is showing up in my inbox, promotions, or spam folders (or any other folders). Anyone have a clue how to solve this? Worse-come-worse I'll just block bitchute's e-mail from sending me notifications all together but that seems a bit nuclear.

I am really glad that the mobile app is working again!

I wanted to provide some feedback about why I prefer to use bitslide as my preferred mobile app and a suggestion or 2 for future updates/features.

It just works and is much smoother than rumble. I drive for work and I can't be messing with skipping ads or pushing extra buttons for safety. When I need to get the app out of the way there's nothing clunky about it.

It's the easiest place to find raw video of major events.

In future updates it would be nice to filter my feed for only long form content. Yes it already has that feature for search results but if there were a filter for the feed that would be amazing.

Other platforms tend to encourage short from content. Perhaps that's a trend you will have to follow to be "competitive" with other platforms, but I also think it's important for the future of bitchute to understand what makes it different because it will never truly compete with YouTube and may not ever be competitive with Rumble either.

I think the biggest strength is the simplicity of the mobile app. Just keep it simple and maybe make it easy to filter out short from content for long drives and to avoid too much scrolling. if that happens I will use it forever.

I've got two BitChute accounts that I haven't logged in to for at least 3 maybe 4 years, but I saved the usernames and passwords (very long randomly generated passwords) in my password manager.

Problem is I can't log in to any of them. All I get is "Login credentials are invalid. Please double-check your username and password." when using the new URL, and "Please enter a correct username and password. Note that both fields may be case-sensitive." when using the old URL.

Password recovery is a no-go for these accounts because I never noted which email address I used. I'm not sure why I didn't do that.

Now if was only one account with this issue I might have written it off, but since it's two of them I'm guessing the issue is related to the age of the accounts. So... what happened while I was gone? Are the accounts in some sort of dormant state, or did something happen to the password hashes on Bitchute's side sometime after 2020?

my videos from youtube hasnt uploaded to bichute like they usually do what happened and how do i get it back to uploading again if i can

just reloaded waterfox and videos from old.bitchute or new gui do not 'autostart.' meaning when a tab is opened for a video and switched to it, or, selecting a vid on a page and it loads- the video automatically start. my old waterfox install was prob 2yrs old and i do have firefox's 'autoplay' enabled for all sites 'on.' i've reviewed autoplay settings in about:config and all settings to play are enabled. should bitchute automatically start a video? if so, is there any particular config in firefox that controls this?

Got on bitchute this morning and found the whole new update, for some reason every time I go to search for videos I get an error message to refresh the page and try again (doesn't work and server status check says everything is ok). This may or may not be an issue with the new bitchute because it happens on the old site to. I'm not logged in although i wouldn't think that has anything to do with it, and I don't use the app I usually just go through the default iphone browser, which is actually surprisingly good if you've never used it so I'm not sure what the problem is here, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, so I created a new email the other day, and before I even had started making any accounts to connect to said e-mail, Bitchute starts sending me e-mails as if I have an account there and as if I am subscribed. I have no account, I've never even heard of Bitchute, I am not even American, and would very like to not get spammed down by BitChute.

To unsubscribe I apparently have to make myself an account, which defeats the purpose, I am not American I do not need an account nor do I want an account.

What's going on? Anyone else experience this?

Adding: In two days I have received OVER 70 e-mails from Bitchute.
2nd Add: This is also not meant to be my private e-mail, but an e-mail for a small local organization, which makes it even less relevant.
3rd Add: Apparently someone had this e-mail one year and seven months ago and they, made an account there which is what happened. I have now deleted the account.

1, The home page for the user page is not the videos but this weird "home" where you have to make yet another click to the video page!

3, The video upload dates have been hidden (this infuriates me to no end - I adored that I could see my upload schedule, like a tapestry of my lifestory - now it's the useless "2 months ago").

There are a number of albums I like which I can only listen to on bitchute. Suddenly, they all load forever and I can't watch the videos. Everything else on the site loads except any albums I'm trying to listen too. Any idea why or how I can fix this issue?

This will incentivize people allowing comments on their videos, which is a good thing. Otherwise, I don't want to see them.

I'm at a campground that has blocked basically all formed of video online except Bitchute. Most of the stuff on the site is nonsense conspiracy theories, and at best I am seeing re-uploads from C-tier lets plays. Am I missing anything good? Or at least big youtubers that re-upload on the site?

I uploaded some videos to my account, and had them set to hidden/unpublished because I wasn't ready to show them yet. I am about ready to show/publish them, and I got the message

The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.

and other videos that worked before have the same message. My account is visible worldwide so I must not be breaking the rules and I don't think I'm restricted and censored/shadowbanned, and I make sure the videos work on my computer and also after I upload them before showing them, so why is Bitchute doing this now when they worked before?

Updates to Advertising, Livestreaming, and upcoming Makeover currently active in the player.

They seem to have replaced it with some new video player that is quite awful in two ways (that ive seen so far):

• doesnt support any keyboard controls

• no spacebar to pause/unpause

• no seeking with arrow keys, so now i have to fatfinger my way through the 2-3 hr long podcasts i usually listen to

• less options for playback speed

why was this change made? any chance of it being reversed?

Has anyone else noticed that BitChute videos no longer go into Picture-in-Picture mode when you leave Safari or switch apps on iPhone? It used to work seamlessly where I could watch a video, hit the home button or swipe to another app, and the video would just minimize and continue playing. Now, it just pauses and doesn’t transition to the smaller player.

Is this a recent change or an issue on my end?

I'm suddenly coming back to my Bitchute channel the next day to find 2 or 3 clones of recent videos, as well as stuff I marked unlisted or private. I haven't changed anything. This definitely did not happen in the past, because while mostly a vid goes to both places, I have some stuff I ONLY put on youtube, and some stuff I ONLY put on bitchute, and it has never done this prior to a week ago.

The only thing I could think of was to remove the link to my channel in the "website" space on personal. To be clear, I've had the Youtube URL listed here FOR YEARS, and it has never auto uploaded anything. I tried searching for this issue, all I found was Bitchute instructions to put the URL at the bottom of settings. This is NOT true. There is nothing at the bottom in the settings tab, but in the personal tab AFTER clicking settings, there is a space to put Website in the middle.

The description DOES NOT SAY videos from youtube will be automatically uploaded. Just " If you have your own website, enter the URL here. This will be displayed alongside your social media links to help users find your website. Maximum 250 characters."

This has recently caused me great anger and frustration as it was uploading PRIVATE Content. There might even be cause for a LAWSUIT here, because again there is NO auto uploading mentioned in the description, and the Bitchute page telling you how to turn it on is flat out incorrect.

I had this issue for a long time that I cannot comment, or like them or videos. I can still upload videos or make playlists, to make sure I'm not banned.

I tried this with multiple browsers, blocked adblock, same issue!

All of a sudden today, I go to reply to my subscriber's comments, and it just will not submit them; anyone else having the same issue?

My old videos are all fine, but the new one has weird artifacts in the audio. I tried switching from aac to mp3, no takers. Then I changed the bit rate from 256 down to 96 khz. That also didn't fix it.

I'm aware that bitchute does the compression themselves, but I always try and keep the overhead low by only uploading 854x480 videos, so I thought maybe if I compress the audio too, and it's fine on my end, it will come out right on Bitchute's. Well, didn't.

Oh, and of course the video works fine over at Odysee.

I am having trouble with Bitchute videos stopping automatically before ending. This happens when I am listening to a Bitchute video (Firefox) and start a new tab to research something while still listening to the video. The Birchute video just stops soon after going to the new tab/url. Youtube and other sites don't do this. Does anyone know how to stop this? It seems like about three or four months ago. The bit slide app stopped working for me. The bit shoot app appears to not have background play! Is there some option that I am missing somewhere? I'm just succumbing and using YouTube without the background play in the app.

Bitchutes is amazing for finding censored content and having free speech but in terms of functionality it's awful, you have to type in the exact thing you're looking for or you get the complete wrong results if any at all and it's just pretty sloppy. Pretty much nothings changed in a year since I've started using it

I just uploaded Videos to my YouTube account then I uploaded those same videos to my Bitchute account. A few hours later I see I have duplicates.

I have deleted older, non-playing videos and reuploaded them from scratch, but this is a tedious process. I would like to learn if one can "edit" an existing, but non-playing, video to update its status, so to speak. The method to play such an older video appears to apply only to the user who uses it, rather than for the general public clicking the video link.

What should BitChute do to get YouTube Content Creators switch to their platform?

Everything worked fine until a month ago on mobile. This problem does not present on desktop. On mobile there is small "Play" triangle on bottom left. Next to that there used to be a slider to advance video with a small dot. Next to that was an audio slider to adjust audio, or mute. Now I only see the audio slider. The small dot to advance video is there, but no slider. If I touch it, it moves the video forward but not in predictable manner. Has anyone had this issue? How did you resolve it?

I cant edit a video title or do anything then hit save or a red box comes up and

says Please resolve errors then resubmit

even if you do nothing it will say it. somethings broken

I just had someone who stole one of my videos and therefor I am now having to file a claim and I was wondering if Bit Chute takes down the videos once you file a claim with them

I've given Bitchute every chance I could. It's the platform I use for any creator that I want to watch that publishes there but the constantly being logged out is getting too annoying and other platforms are available. This appears to have been an issue for at least four years now judging from my search on the issue. It happens with the website and also the app (which is hopelessly outdated). This should be a trivial fix and there's no reason for it to be like this.

I have gameplay footage at 240 - 700 FPS, and I would like to upload it to BitChute. I can comfortably play Fortnite at 500 FPS, then I can turn up the Graphics to around 300+ FPS. I want to know if BitChute will upload in that quality. I have no idea how to find this out. I am not well versed in BitChute but I am choosing to become active.
