Post and repost art you've made, request for people to draw art for you, engage in art trades or ask for advice etc.
If you've never drawn before, don't be afraid to do so and ask for advice.
You can draw Tegaki here if you'd like, doing so will make your art appear on the home page.
This thread will cycle, when it reaches it's limit, the first post in the thread will be deleted, to make sure this thread is permanent, archives will be made every 1000 replies, etc.

Usage
Use this thread to post art you're working on, if you're bored and want to draw for people, or want people to draw for you.
Try to keep miscellanous discussion to /hangout/ and preserve this thread primarily for your art and other's artworks.
If you have your own galleries where you keep your art, share them. Art posted in this thread may be collected for the purpose of creating a permanent art gallery for the site, maybe a booru, but most likely just a custom HTML showcase page, similar to Yerf.

If you can, please encourage others to draw, I need motivation, personally.
Have fun.

This is a bit unrelated, but, the manga author for Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima, has an entire series on youtube on how to draw manga, fully subtitled in English

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUS0Fkcg5Vo[Embed]

Some people don't like Fairy Tail, but Mashima has made like three long running manga without health issues or burning out, which is very rare. He's really worth learning techniques from because he's very very efficient

Just copy from other people until you get the hang of it. Use references to understand key points of what makes the character.
Then you'll get into a pattern of
>thinking of good idea
>drawing a sphere for the head, rectangle under it, sphere for shoulders, rectangle arms, draw cross on sphere head to decide face orientation and position
>draw initial character sketch
>resketch it
>retweak it again maybe
>you're done, line it and then colour it in
and repeat the process for every character and object, etc. You'll never get it right on your first go, the first draft of everything is shit, or something.

Is it not obvious? Averi, but, to be honest, I draw a variety of things. Drawing is a lot more like creating a new painting for me, it takes a while to get the idea for it, then when I get it, I have to figure out how to best convey that idea. To me, drawing is a lot more about how well you can convey an idea than it is about caring too much about proportions, etc. Even if you're shit at drawing, if you can adequately show a scene, with lots of people and a variety of different objects, that is what matters a lot more to me. Drawings with blank backgrounds are not my favourite.

Ironically, then, the things I draw the most, are backgrounds. I think it's better if you draw the backgrounds first, anthros later, so you can actually make a good scene, but as a beginner artist, just focus on the anthros. Draw Averi, don't focus on being creative for now, just try to copy her, learn different facial expressions and poses etc, eventually you'll get the hang of it, and at that point, all you have to do is figure out how to be more creative.

Cool pencil colouring. I think natural colours for the fur and hair is alright, but the blue and red kind of clash a bit, but otherwise, it's fine. I can't possibly see any other way the clothing could go, so it's alright, I guess. What type of anthro is it supposed to be?

The way I reasoned it, I figured since her fur is neutral brown it'd be better to use bright, pastel colors. And I figured pink and blue would match, but maybe I'm wrong about that. If I am it would suck because in real life I like mixing pink shirts with blue pants.
Anyway, she's supposed to be an otter but I kinda draw her a bit seal-like.

>>7566
I did the two bird drawings in the tegaki thread on a whim. Honestly I've been wavering between posting here and just keeping my drawings to myself, but then I remembered someone saying that artists don't improve all that much if they're in their own little solo bubble. But I really don't want to post my art on FA again either. Besides it being full of weird fetish art, I'd usually end up obsessing over how many favorites a drawing would get, and it would influence what I drew.
Replies: >>7569

>>7567
I don't wanna post my art on a place like FA or DeviantArt either, I might end up making my own gallery site, or just continuing to use my steam profile, which I do and my art on there gets a few likes sometimes. I guess that effect can sort of demotivate you from drawing if your art doesn't get 1 googillion likes or whatever.

I think you should post here more, not just because I'm the site owner, but because I like your artwork and I wish I could do that pencil colouring style, but digitally, somehow, o algo.

Also, she kind of looks a lil derpy to me and I assumed she was a bear or something, the artstyle there is a lot more human, I guess, her legs aren't digitigrade, but that's not a bad thing, I guess. You should definitely get into drawing backgrounds sometime, it really helps for me personally, makes my drawings stand out a lot more.
Replies: >>7570
>>7569
I think just a very strict gallery site would be best, where it's just your art and maybe the ability to add comments without any likes or quote-tweets or whatever. I think another thing is that I've been trying to meet people in person more and while I've found people don't tend to mind furry art, they're also not really 'fans' of it like we are, so it's a little disappointing. So I end up going back here and I'm not really sure yet if that's good or bad.

Funny thing is that I sometimes consider getting into digital art because the colors are a lot more uniform, easier to blend, and more precise. But I'm kind of terrible at digital art. I can only do tegaki type stuff where I don't care if it looks sloppy. Either way, I'm sure if you use special canvas textures or brushes you could get something that looks somewhat like a colored pencil drawing. Besides just actually using colored pencils, of course.

You're right about backgrounds, do you tend to draw them first and then place people in them, or draw a background around someone you've already drawn? Someone who's really good already told me what to do (just draw random places without any people in them for practice) but I never found the motivation to do it.

>I think just a very strict gallery site would be best, where it's just your art and maybe the ability to add comments without any likes or quote-tweets or whatever.
Probably, though I want to make a site that's artistic and personal, something that's fun with a lot of interactivity. Some day, maybe, but I'm not so sure right now atleast. I'm probably going to draw a lot more in the future though, so it'd be worth it.
>I think another thing is that I've been trying to meet people in person more and while I've found people don't tend to mind furry art, they're also not really 'fans' of it like we are
I'm glad you've been able to meet people in person, I can't ever do that.
>You're right about backgrounds, do you tend to draw them first and then place people in them, or draw a background around someone you've already drawn? Someone who's really good already told me what to do (just draw random places without any people in them for practice) but I never found the motivation to do it.
I've been focusing a lot more on the backgrounds themselves recently, drawings might become harder to make, as the background itself becomes a character you have to paint and tend to, but it's worth it in my opinion. A lot of people get the urge to cheat and trace backgrounds or background objects, and I don't really like that, because learning perspective is important n shiet o algo.
Replies: >>7573
>>7572
I think rushing to draw the anthro first is a bad idea, having a full background ready before drawing the anthro is a lot better, especially for positioning the character afterhand, etc. It allows you to see how your characters fit into the world rather than adapting your world/scene to the characters, if that makes sense. I never really used to draw backgrounds, but now all my drawings basically include one, and it adds a lot to the drawings, every drawing is now fun, but it's an exercise in details and in artistic expression, the best thing for me is not simply to draw anthros but to draw an elaborate scene that either tells a story or expresses and conveys an idea, and when you focus on this, all worries like how good your art is goes away once you are dead set on achieving the goal of expressing and conveying an idea.

I didn't exactly care if Tails looked derpy in my last drawing, though I felt like he might have, either way, the composition of the drawing and the inclusion of angel island tells a story without a dialog, that Averi was being flown by Tails from Angel Island. There's already a lot of meaning with that, first Angel Island is from Sonic, but secondly, this implies Averi is an Angel, and that's just cute. I think that's important, if you can convey subtle meanings like that in drawings, that's a good thing.
Replies: >>7574 >>7575
>>7573
But sometimes its not about making a massive painting with subtext and whatever, sometmes its just about goofing around and drawing cute anthro character o algo, and I get that, but if you're gonna do that, I'd recommend you create a scene where it makes sense, like a bunch of picture frames on a wall, or maybe polaroids from a photo booth so you can draw the anthro character making silly expressions, etc.

Ideas are really important, art conveys ideas and meaning. o algo
>>7573
I think you're right. I thought tails' face looked cute, though. It matches the whimsy of the piece, at least. Next time I'll have to draw a pool or a beach first and then add the otter swimming in it.

I see, thank you. My answer is still the same, though. Just keep making art. Some concepts just click in the middle of a drawing, and then you're like "Oh, so that's how they do that. Neat." It also makes linework and visualization easier.

>>9229
I see. When you use a lot of programs and mediums, like I tend to do, you learn to make do with what you have, I guess. My lines are less neat here, but when I use the dithering brush, it's less obvious, so it still looks okay. Experiment daily. If you can't find a way to do something the way you normally do it, you can try to find another way.
Replies: >>9231

For that reason, I think simple programs made for children are some of the best to start out in, as long as you're making the effort to try new things. You're forced to stretch your mind further, which encourages more growth than just looking something up, or using a program that makes it incredibly easy to do. Krita is fun, but you're given so many tools that it's easy to get lost, or to handicap yourself as an artist.

You should bro, I would be happy to see your sketches. Also, learning how to draw actual dragons will allow you to mog the furfags at their own game.

Usually when that happens, I do two things. One option is to simply observe the real world and try to draw what you observe. That takes away the problem of having to imagine something to draw. The other option is to think of something very simple, even if you've drawn it a bunch of times already. Like just someone's face. Usually once that's done I can think of some small way to extend the drawing, like thinking of some pose that would match the face. I've found that I can get pretty far with these techniques.

>What would you even want out of a Minecraft 2? Why would anyone do that?
We need a Minecraft that isn't owned by a corporation like Microsoft and isn't modded by a corpo shill. There's a lot about the old charm of Minecraft, that indie feel it had, that's now gone. A lot of modders and texture pack creators nowadays miss that, and a lot of new entity mods and stuff just do not feel vanilla at all.

I'm not asking for a vanilla+ MC mod, I'm asking for an entirely new game with a new identity like Hytale. I get that Hytale was owned by Riot though, but it was new and unique. We need a new Minecraft with pixel-art aesthetics, a focus on magic and absurdist exploration into fantasy-like biomes that deviate from the norm. We need more ideas like The Endermen and The Creeper, stuff that made Minecraft iconic, not just porting real animals and stuff, but actually something with new ideas and not contrived tropes.

We need a version of Minecraft that is intentionally mysterious like it sort of used to be. How I envision Minecraft is very different from how it is, the game could be very fun if focused less on realism and helping the environment and took itself less seriously, wasn't owned by a soulless corporation that is pushing Lena Raine's troonslop music.

I guess? I just don't think it'd be a very good game if it were a rehash of Minecraft, which is what I'd assume from the phrase "Minecraft 2"
>things should feel vanilla
I think we are fundamentally different in what we enjoy about Minecraft. There's no world in which I enjoy the game you want to see, and no world in which the game I enjoy is one you'd want to play, which is fine. I like hearing your perspective, even if we don't see eye-to-eye.
>C418
I always play with the songs muted. I don't really like them, especially compared to what other stuff I could have playing (Though, I usually just play in silence). That's at least partially because I don't play vanilla, and the music just does not fit what I'm doing at all, but none of it is ever stuff I would choose to listen to anyway.

>I always play with the songs muted.
I don't play Minecraft because the game is quite boring to me, but I listen to the OST on YouTube sometimes because I enjoy C418's music. I associate the music with Minecraft though so it's hard not to feel a little nostalgic sometimes, but the nostalgia itself is boring. I never really had fun playing Minecraft, my nostalgia with it was watching others play it, and playing with others. I have never had a successful singleplayer world.

Minecraft is very dependent on having fun with friends, if you don't have friends, then you just have a really boring game that happened to be a part of your childhood, and that's kind of why I don't play it anymore. There is no one person who can ever change that for me, nobody can magically make the game more fun and enjoyable and all these mods are overly complicated and take away from what the game should be anyways.

Minecraft would be more fun to me if it was a singleplayer game, perhaps with special events and seasons and unique items and ideas, give you more stuff to collect to actually incentivize you to make a cool base. A crafting table, a furnace and a chest is basically all you need and they are cheap to make, I never feel like making dedicated rooms for them, and when I do its often just a waste of space.

Different survival games elevate the importance of structures, like in DST and Rust, the structures you use and craft are very important, so much so that things like furnaces and crafting benches in rust require their own rooms. With Minecraft you don't have that, There is no real punishment for making a bad base and to make things worse, resource gathering can be extremely tedious if you want to make something that looks good.

Suffice to say, that is what keeps most people engaged, simply looking for things to build stuff, but at the end of the day, you get almost nothing from it, it'd be more worth your time to make your own videogame than play with digital lego bricks.

The Minecraft menu music themes can be some of the most nostalgic songs in the game, but also the most depressing, so many memories I've had on Multiplayer Minecraft, getting banned from servers, trying to find places to play, and inevitably, everytime I open that game, I'm not actually playing it, just staring at the main menu, listening to the music, crying remembering when the game used to be fun for me, and then just quitting it. Sounds pathetic, but that literally is the Minecraft experience for me now, and it's best to just let go and keep what's good about it and what can't be broken, which is the music.

C418's music is very melancholic though, so it often does make me feel quite sad. When I was a lot younger I ignored the melancholic undertones and just registered it as happy music, but now that I'm a lot older, I sometimes rejoin old dead Minecraft servers from my childhood... there's nobody online but me... and then I hear this shit:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wv84OUmnwg[Embed]

The music of the game has an almost awful way of knowing. It tears me apart, I'll never play this game again.

>but at the end of the day, you get almost nothing from it, it'd be more worth your time to make your own videogame than play with digital lego bricks.
Well I get something out of it.
I try to make good bases because it's fulfilling, not because I have to. Minecraft is a game I continue playing and doing things in because I like doing it, not because the game rewards me for doing so, or because there's any rational reason to do it. I don't need nine dragons, but I'm still raising all of them, and I still spending hours making armor for them. That is fun for me.
>friends
I've never needed these to enjoy Minecraft. I still do play it with others sometimes, but it doesn't add or take anything away. At the end of the day, I'm still going to be playing it my way.

When people say Minecraft is a horror game, this is how I interpret that.
No jumpscares or anything, just decadence, like seeing the town you grew up in demolished by a tornado.
The old game, the true Minecraft, it just sits there, alone and dead. A skinwalker has taken it's place.
A corporate mess with conflicting features, remnants from the past and a lack of a cohesive art direction and identity.

I think the only way I'd play Minecraft again is if I literally time traveled back to 2014 somehow, but even then I'm not sure if I'd still like it, a lot of things you like as a kid weren't all that great, but I remember the servers being way more fun back then. I've tried to play new ones but they're just boring as fuck. It was so easy to be a kid and log onto servers that weren't necessarily trying to do what everyone else was doing, servers that were more experimental, people making new gamemodes, people making minigame servers, people making primitive but fun as hell zombie horde servers etc, there were a lot of unique gamemodes people had that are just dead or gone now because every kid is too busy playing p2w lifesteal prison skyblock slop. Minecraft servers are legit a business for people now, when they should just be for fun.

The State of Modern Minecraft:
>large teams and committees with way too many diversity hires instead of a tight-knit team
>trying to look professional in an indie pixel block game
>jappa textures, with a fixed color palette and purple shadows like the cal arts professor told him will make your art pop out and sell more toys (look at the unnatural purplish hue on nether stone blocks like blackstone and basalt)
>the desoygners keep revealing on xwixxer and on the trivia and gallery sections of the official wiki all the 1844 phases of concept art they made for every rnca little feature of the game, to draw in hype, and also to brag to tumblr that they got to work at Mojang while their followers work at Starbucks.
>ear-tingling realistic asmr noises in a pixel block game. The sound desoygn is so well-desoygned and realistic
>new biome music, not even made by C418, but by some nip, some IAS nu-male, or, worst of all, by leif "lena raine" chapelle
>leif's nether """music""" is unironically named after occult alchemy rituals btw, if that matters
>ear-tingling realistic asmr background ambience loops with lots of details in a pixel block game
>ear-tingling realistic asmr block noises for new variants of existing block (mostly minerals and plants)
>new rock variants don't sound solid, they sound like they're crumpling into dust
>new wood variants sound slightly different and more ear-tinglingly for some reason (because they want to make it look more special and build hype)
>new mob, decided by vote (literally focus-group testing)
>tries to add some new golem to try and give a purpose to some useless new mineral block, which, like the snow golem, is unrelated to villages, but unlike the snow golem, they don't attack mobs but they do resemble villagers, and they have no basis in real-life folklore, so they stick out among the two existing golems, but who cares, they went through 1448 desoygn phases and they can sell more toys.
>You instantly run into a village and easily get enchanted diamond armor, then in the nether you instantly get to the new biomes because making the player spend time in the game and not immediately gratifying him by dangling shiny new update bloat keys in xis face is LE BAD
>every feature has to have a purpose (at least pretend to have one). Gone are the days of fun eastereggs like mooshrooms. Now every terracotta block needs to appear in some fucking structure to remind the fucking player that it exists
>desperately trying to shill some new purpose for copper 24/7 and yet it still has no purpose
>multiple sets of 4-6 ear-tingling well-desoygned asmr sounds for every feature (like mobs or blocks), instead of just 2-3 like it used to be
>over-complicated and detailed animations on mobs, made with blockbench and blender (pay attention to flapping ears, body moving up-and-down when walking, regular movements looking bouncy, and idle animations)
>face model of the mob is squished rather than cubic. Even the striders aren't block-shaped, though they were desoygned to look block-like. Why? Because the imperfect shape makes them look more "dynamic", and makes them "stand out more" (sell more toys). Fun fact: humans with a squished, baby-faced appearance are perceived as more trustworthy, passive, and overall soyish.
>the whole body of the mob is desoygned to look rounded, child-like, and cartoonish. This applies especially to the tie-ins like minecraft dungeons and the other one
>cartoonish peppa pig noises and floppy ears on the pigmen (sorry, piglin sounds more marketable), standing in jarring contrast with the empty white eyes that are trying to make them look spoopy
>r/interestingasfuck weird / quirky / obscure things that aren't that obscure after all, such as axolotls and snow foxes
>face texture displays some emotion, especially a wholesome 100 emotion to show that it's a wholesome 100 good mob that you gotta save by reducing your carbon footprint not a peepee poopoo bad evil mob. This basically patronises the player and tell him what to feel instead of giving him the freedom to interpret the mob however he wants to, and farm it for resources at will
>new mobs can't be killed for resources, you have to be peaceful and breed it, brush it, protect its eggs, and play with its nipples, otherwise that would be le toxic masculinity
>Can't add sharks because kiddies will think that sharks are le bad and refuse to donate to le h*ccin' environmentalist causes… Even though Hungry ShARYAN did a lot more for shark conservation efforts
>The turtle was the idea of that one woman who was promoted to chief desoygner or something among those slops btw, if that matters
>refers to mobs by the singular "they/them" instead of "it", even when it comes to stupid fucking animals that obviously don't have the sapience to know what pronouns are
>Needlessly pretentious names for features. Can't call it "pig dungeon", gotta call it "bastion remnant". Can't call it "mangrove sapling" gotta call it "mangrove propagule". Can't call it "greenish-blue / red log", gotta call it "warped / crimson hyphae". This is partially because the dev team is comprised of college-indoctrinated women who want to brag about the terms they've learned. It's the same reason why you hear "patriarchy", "hegemony", "reification", "intersectionality" and other such pretentious words being thrown around in poolitics.
>cites scientific "accuracy" for a feature in a block game where animals set on fire instantly drop cooked food.
>desperately trying to build up hype around each update on xwixxer
>desperately trying to hype up new update with animated trailers
>desperately trying to hype up new update with way too many dev interviews
>snappy new update title, with rhymes and/or added aliterations
>the warden is occult symbolism for sacrifice of souls to m*l*ch DO NOT INVESTIGATE FURTHER TAKE YOUR MEDS CHUDDY!!!
>desperately trying to hype up new update with concept art
>again, relying too much on focus group tested committee-desoygned concept art instead of a central, tight-knit control on creative vision
>making more money from tie-ins and merchandise than from actual game sales, kinda like how new Slopémon games are advertisements for toys
>new loading screen is not a calm panorama, but a h*ccin' vibrant image meant to advertise the new bloated slop that the update brings (to build further hype)
>splashes about covid / blm / gender / current thing
>wholesome 100 plebbit maymays in the form of splashes and achievements
>trying to justify the changes with "nostalgic" 'memberberries, like the wither rose and contemplative painting reminding players of the rose, but it's still ruined by jappa art so it solves nothing other than to further spit on the game's legacy
>generic spin-off game about pillagers and piglins, none of which existed during the peak of Minecraft's popularity in 2013
>green echological messaging approved by Greta Thunberg

This.
Also mobs are genderless for gameplay reasons, so you don't get fucked with having only 2 female cows or only 2 male cows, but unfortunately, the lack of female villagers, a mob that is somewhat humanoid but not quite, is a setback and now everyone just assumes the villagers are all gay o algo.

Well for starters, HMOFA is banned here and this site exists because of a falling out I had with some ex-friends after separate drama. We came from a website called soyjak.party on their /bp/ and /anthro/ boards, and I was amongst the main figures powering the board, creating content and participating, creating the threads and trying to keep everything in check. My presence was not appreciated however because an ex-friend of mine took up the opportunity to make a splinter after sharty kicked us out, and when he did, he started powercucking over me and continued to be a gooner. I've seen how he runs his site time and time again and he's let a lot of lewd and NSFW stuff slide and he himself is friends with porn artists and drew softcore NSFW also.

This site exists off of principles, those people are people who wear never goon shirts but goon in private, as the owner of this site, I am not like that, I stick to my word. I have been betrayed by a lot of people, so I naturally distrust most and resent humans who aren't willing to do what it takes to make an actual change.

Their website is prone to becoming a cesspit because they're not good at staying true to their vision, it's just another gooner infested furry website with no morals, no principles, ran by people who will do anything it takes to backstab eachother for a crumb of power. This site in comparison is just a hangout for me and the real niggas who didn't fuck me over.

I do not find anthros sexy or beautiful, etc, and I think women are overpraised for no reason. I live my life in a pursuit of perfection, fighting lust and temptation every day. That is my goal, to never masturbate, never be sexual, disavow of anyone who is sexual, simply keep everything clean and enjoy good art with no big titty sex position gooner undertones. It's not about just banning NSFW, its about banning exposure to anything sexual entirely.

I don't care about what anyone says because this is what I want for my life. I don't use mainstream social media, because it's all infested with porn and goonslop, but here, I can ban goonslop and don't have to deal with gooners. Being anti-gooner was the primary thing a lot of people including myself were for in the community and that's why people still use this site.

Personally I'm enjoying the pokemon stuff more than anthros at the moment, but I'll probably never let go of my love and appreciation for anthropomorphic characters, no matter how much they are corrupted by degenerate dysgenic fucks.

some may call you crazy, but i can admire your position. even though i am against gooning and dont draw porn, i still am a coomer, and fall to temptation constantly. i often wished i had no sexual feelings, as they only make me feel dirty, and i dont interact with women anyways, so it just feels like an irrelevant byproduct of evolution. that said you may not want me here, which is okay with me. i would rather not stay in a place where i am unwelcomed

Yes the sharty had an anthro board, we had events and the boards were deleted for drama-related reasons, my feud with 9a0c being one of them, they spammed the board with porn and I told them to stop and threatened to create an offsite community, they didn't stop, so we created an offsite community. They got pissy about the 10M get that wasn't in my control, but they blamed me for it.

>i dont draw porn, but i have drawn some risque things and blood before, some of it i regret looking back on
It's never too late to change, but if you decide to do so and you fall back on your goals, you should feel ashamed and use that shame to help yourself.

>some may call you crazy, but i can admire your position. even though i am against gooning and dont draw porn, i still am a coomer, and fall to temptation constantly. i often wished i had no sexual feelings, as they only make me feel dirty, and i dont interact with women anyways, so it just feels like an irrelevant byproduct of evolution. that said you may not want me here, which is okay with me. i would rather not stay in a place where i am unwelcomed

I appreciate your kindness and honesty. I do not like coomers, but if you can be anonymous and simply respect my wishes of not posting goonslop and keeping your lustful thoughts to yourself, then I'm fine with that.

I mostly agree with what you just said by the way, one of the reasons why I hate women is because they play no part or role in my life but they have a permanent grip on my balls, and that causes distractions, makes me less productive, and think about stuff I really shouldn't. I do not wish to be sexually attracted to anything, but I am different than you in the fact that I do not act on my lust, I battle lust every day, I block out sources of lustful content and I make sure to not be controlled by bad impressionable people.

If a website you are using is causing you to masturbate or think lustfully, you need to stop using it, I have sacrificed so much and now it is so easy for me to just not masturbate, its very easy, just do not touch your dick. I hate most people so I do not care if I dont talk to 20+ people anymore, if I only talk to like 5 people and all of them are the exact kinds of people I need to be around, good influences, then that is a good thing.

The thing with coomers is that a lot of them have no shame, they spread their coomerisms and try to normalize it, and that causes a lot of trouble I'm sure you're aware of. Shit like pedophilia, incest, zoophilia, trannies etc etc exists because people are insecure about themselves and are trying to make it normal, they are trying to normalize their sin and people are trying to say it's normal for you to masturbate. I could go on about this for a long time, but if you need advice on how to not goon just do this:

People and humans are retarded, women are not special, having boobs and a vagina is normal, but your body makes a big deal out of it. Well, body? If you think its sooo important, then you deal with it, I, the mind, don't have to put up with your bullshit. If I'm going to have wet dreams or ejaculate in ways that are out of my control, then so be it, let nature do it's thing, but otherwise, I will refuse to give into those kinds of temptations. Once you believe this and cut off sources of lust, it becomes harder for you to be poorly influenced. You need to stop interacting with people who are proud of masturbating, stop looking at big breasted or half-naked women and just focus on getting a job done, or a hobby, or entertainment. Society is, however, oversexualized, but again, I could go on about this for so long.
Replies: >>12490
>>12489
Another thing I do to not masturbate is to work my brain out to the point of pure exhaustion so when I go to sleep, there is no time for disgusting lustful thoughts to dwell on your consciousness, you will just go to sleep and wake up. Maybe get morning wood, but just disregard it, get up and continue your projects, there is no practical use for ejaculating for a small dopamine hit.

I hate that this is an aspect of myself, but I make sure it doesn't control my life. I feel ashamed to have this thing, this demon we call lust, and it plays games with me and makes me think about women in disgusting ways, but you give lust power if you masturbate, you can fight lust if you refuse to goon.

It's shit like lust that makes retards think they need to get a girlfriend and let women manipulate them and break their hearts.

I also notice that lust isn't everlasting, it's kind of just like a basis to basis thing, one moment I can think about women in a way that makes me unfocused, and then I can think about women naked and not be bothered by it at all, if you do not consume sexual content, then you are only bound by your imagination, which is powerful, but it gets boring very quickly, and that's a good thing.

I might be oversharing to be honest, but I'm very passionate about this, I think we give women too much power over our lives, when they don't even play a part in it.

Fighting my own thoughts makes me pretty schizo, but alas another thing is just keeping your thoughts to yourself. That's actually why I speak to myself saying "we" because I imagine us as 2 people, a smarter side and an irrational side, and that irrationality can creep up on you, but your smarter self is always telling you the facts, you have to learn to parent yourself on these things.
>>12485
I feel embarassed for even saying most of the things I just said to you now and yes I am sperging out but I genuinely hate humans and people and lust. I used to let lust control me, and now I fight it, and I think everyone else should do the same. All women have boobs and a vagina, there is nothing special about women, they do not deserve to live in my head rent free. I will never get married or get a girlfriend, I do not talk to women, so women do not deserve my sexual attention, and sex should be reserved until marriage.

A lot of these HMOFA people are very misguided and a lot of tranfoo users have convinced themselves that it's okay to masturbate or look at waifuposting pretty girl pictures 24/7 or be lustful over women. I believe this to be disgusting and not something I want to engage with.

I want to be asexual, and I think I can achieve this through various methods which I have described previously, blocking out sexual content, and making it not a big part of your life. Lust starts off as a big weight, but you can make it a smaller and smaller weight, and just focus on things you enjoy more.

Anyways, I think that is all I will say about lust for now, this has been on my mind for some time now. Just keep your thoughts to yourself and do not act on your lust, if you are in bed and are having lustful thoughts, try to fight the thoughts and think about something else. Masturbating is such a pain anyways, it'd probably be better if everyone just let their bodies control what happens in that regard instead of gooning and giving power to people and letting women seduce and manipulate you.

Quite frankly, masturbating is NORMIENIGGER behaviour and as a gigachad autist neurodivergent, I know better than to try and fit in with retarded neurotypicals.
Become never goon volcel o algo.

for what its worth, it is a little embarrassing for me too to talk about my issues and previous actions. normalfags may look at your walls of text and call you a schizo, but i think i agree for the most part for what you said. i dont really like women, (and see them as inferior dare i say), but i wouldnt say i hate them. i think its possible to fall in love with a woman and it be a genuinely good thing long term, its just exceedingly rare, and probably more so as time goes on
having lust to me feels like being born with a built-in addiction. it serves a purpose as every species needs to reproduce as much as possible. but we live in an era where infant mortality is low, and spending time raising a few children instead of shitting out 20 kids and neglecting them like nigs on welfare yields better people. i guess i also see myself as two people sometimes (logical/illogical) too. i am a conservative person, yet my actions betray my morals, which sucks since i have always been a moralfag

There’s nothing sexy about the appearance of anthros. If they were a character in a book or show, you could find their personality attractive & desirable and that’s perfectly normal, but any need to undress and masturbate over them in your gooncave, let alone for their animal characteristics and not in spite of, that’s deeply distorted and a truly perverted desire to have, whether you like it or not.

I recognize you from some of your drawing threads on 4chan, the /fur/ threads, and that cat, her name was... femcel, was it? I think I've seen you associate with some strange individuals, like 7oomer who is a porn artist and apparently has been doing so for years.

If I were you, you need to quit while you can, quit 4chan, and stay away from those people. People will call me insane because I actually have the balls to value my morals and principles over anything else. If being pure means being 1 in a million, then so be it.

I don't trust that other website you're aware of either, it's a hypocrisy to run a site where you ban NSFW but you're buddy buddy with NSFW artists off of the site, on Twitter, etc and promoting goon slop and big titty and ass characters, etc. I don't understand what their thought process is. But listen to my advice, and do it for yourself, the less you give into lust, the more power it has over you. Do not masturbate, not even once, you will fall back into a cycle where you do it once, and then do it again, and get addicted again, you need to remove your ability to feed your addiction, instead just let your body do it's thing.

If you don't want to give up on women, that's okay, but I have given up on women and most people, people are not to be trusted, a lot of them can backstab you and turn on you, which is why it's not really that disheartening to see my amount of friends trickle down to small numbers, that process is normal, filtering out the shit from the gems, etc.

I feel heavily about this kind of thing because masturbation and lust just hurts in a way I can't really describe, but we're all aware of. It hurts especially for anthro characters and content, where the priority is placed on sexualized content, and because you tend to see that 99% more than just normal stuff, it becomes boring, tiresome and strange, you start to notice the degeneracy, those people from the other website are not anthro enthusiasts, if anything the only thing they are enthusiasts of is fapping and overglorified depictions of women's bodies.

I always made myself clear, I wanted a space where sexual stuff is out of the picture completely, but they didn't listen, they bent the knee all for more shit and less gems. As for women in general, real women, there is no such thing as love, they need only 3 things from you, money, sex and a bodyguard, that's mostly what it comes down to.

If life is like a videogame, then Women play a very interesting class, they live by manipulation and they use lust as an advantage, they take advantage of men's weaker side to try and make them care about them, and then they'll rinse you of everything you have and give you ultimatums like "Who do you love more, me or your friends?". It is foolish to believe that women are completely cute innocent little creatures who can do no wrong, it is foolish to let women do whatever they want just because they have boobies, nipples, ass and a vagina. The men that do not see the truth do not think clearly.

I'm not an incel though and I don't hate women, I just understand them for what they are, I think women deserve some respect and it's not fair for people to be mysoginistic. Men are not owed sex, they do not deserve it and sex is a deeply selfish act, powered by lust. No man has sex with a woman with the intention of giving a woman children, it's all about the pleasure, it's about masturbating, using a woman's body as a fleshlight. For some this can be deeply intimate, but I just don't really see it that way, sex is moreso just an act of lust amongst 2 people, sometimes it is sold like a drug and sometimes it just means nothing, and there are women who go around having sex with darn near everyone and everything, just because they can. There are people who know no bounds and have ZERO morals, but sooner or later, they'll feel nothing and get bored, and realize that they're good for nothing after all.

A woman who sells her body is a tragedy that is often seen as "empowering", there are women who do not understand dignity, and the mindset of trying to girlboss your way through life as a princess often leads to disasterous consequences. Men do not want princesses, they need someone capable, but it's not about men, it's all about women, who are the prize, who think it's only about what they want.

As men we need to focus on having more confidence in ourselves, stop being lazy pushovers who fawn over women all day, just focus on yourself.

This site dislikes HMOFA, it's been this way for so long that outright banning it was always in effect from the very beginning. There is a paradox to allowing HMOFA on your site where you and your friends hate it. Anyone who calls for HMOFA to be unbanned then is to be questioned, as why would you want something unbanned if you too dislike it.

HMOFA just empowers men to be weak pushovers who prioritize le pretty innocent woman who can do nothing wrong over themselves, and they indulge themselves in fake sexual or romantic fantasies, it is sad and not something I want on my website. There are other sites where you can do that.

Sexuality is evil. Not just heterosexuality, all sexuality, you needn't an explanation for just how much sin there is when we've created an imaginary spectrum for how much of a degenerate you can be, and how many MANY people make Sex their whole personality.
That includes women, by the way.

Why should I get a girlfriend, or have sex? I do not see any reason.
To have kids? I would rather not, even if I really had to that would probably involve masturbation, which I hate. I just do not want to do that. I'm sure you can disagree though, but I'm not no neurotypicalfag who's retarded and only focuses on thinking with their dick and not with their brain.

I will never have sex, ever. Mark my words.
Sex is a deeply selfish act.

The population is too large, I would only ever have children if logically it made sense. Logically speaking, it doesn't make sense, I don't have to do shit, theres babies being born every second.

But you are right, the people who masturbate and goon to anthros are deeply perverted. It's just that lust isn't something I have to deal with anymore, but there are other sins which I do have to deal with. It's a good process, no? We can focus less on lust, and focus more on knocking out the other sins that are ruining my life, like procrastination.
>>12639
I cannot love a woman, I don't have money to give, a house, a car, I do not go outside, I rarely talk to people, I am disinterested in sex. Sorry, not sorry.
I think Lust is a very dangerous sin, it comes built in, it's an addiction that ruins your life, and it all starts when you were immature and young and get hooked on porn and EPI. Then they'll tell you that the damage is irreversible, once this always this, you will masturbate to porn for the rest of your life.

Brainwashing, this is what society and the sex industry wants. The damage can be reversed, and we need to make sure that we have a culture that promotes reversing this damage.

I will make sure that my masturbation, from when I was younger, stays as a phase. I will be able to live my life understanding the differences between men and women and seeing that as just being how it is, instead of putting women on a pedestal for having different body parts.

I believe in dismantling and destroying concepts like "The Male Gaze" and a bunch of other bullshit we subscribe to as things we have to do "because society"
I think maybe there is something greater, I wonder if animals also have some sense of morality, there are a lot you can say about animals that you can also say about humans. Humans are animals, but we act more civilized, like we're better than animals, more intelligent, etc. For the most part, we are, but even the most smartest people can do the dumbest things.

Society is poisoned with ideas like "Men just can't help it... don't feel bad." etc. In some countries, poisoned ideologies are what empower people to do bad things because "erm its okay actually, it's our culture". I hate humans because of this, but deep down I think I know that humans can be good, but a lot of them choose not to.

You know words like "Sex Life" are just so stupid to me, that people have fallen for lust so much and regarded it as a normal part of society that we believe that a significant portion of our lives should be dedicated to having sex, even though if you do the math, most people only have sex for about 60 seconds to 2 minutes, etc, but theres a lot of fetishization with how long people can "last" which for the purpose of reproducing, I think is insane, ideally it should be as short as possible.

This kind of thing needs to be understood, we need to inact the Lachlan New World Order and stop oversexualizing society, encouraging voyeurism, we need to ban pornography effective immediately and kill the sex industry, stop human sex trafficking and people manipulating women into becoming pornstars and prostitutes, we need to erase CSAM and exploitation. Sex is evil.

If you want to make the argument that sex can be good, well, unfortunately I can say a whole lot more about how bad sex is than you can say about how good it is, because the only thing you could say is

>Sex is good because it makes more people.
>Le emotional strong connection or something.

And that's about it. Whereas like I've listed, there is so much that goes wrong when you allow lust to control people, and unfotunately, a lot of people get hurt.

I was in the place to really have gone either way, given that I did have mod there. I chose you ultimately because I agree with you and align with you a lot more than those on the other site. Yeah, you don’t like my blatant aspirational waif posting, but that’s not a big deal lmao, at least you have what I had in mind from the beginning, an SFW imageboard that encouraged no gooning and was a little on the chuddy side so I could be free. Ultimately the others diverged from that original intention and they know this in their hearts, all except you. You remained faithful. I don’t regret my decision to choose you

Yes, I did say that, but it’s moreso that I see things I fancy which they have rather than they themselves, cuteness being one of them. I don’t find canine or vulpine features sexually alluring, thank God.

>I think you are a Christian who struggles with lust
Yes, that is correct.
Replies: >>12650
>>12648
It is very good to be honest. But merely being a christian doesn't absolve you of sin, we should all work towards being better regardless of what religion we believe in. I think I realized this a while ago, I don't have to become Christian to fix characteristics that I do not like about myself and other humans. You'd think that Christians have it under wraps, but they don't, really.

If you're not going to change your ways though, and you seriously believe in giving women all this power of yourself because they're "cute" and "pretty" and whatever, then you should focus towards getting a girlfriend doing all of that neurotypical normie shit like having a family and kids and getting married etc.

Theres not much more I can say though, I assume that is a part of your life plan, there are people like me who are just disillusioned and then there are people who consume the pretty woman slop, who still hold onto the idea that they can get a loving wife and have kids, which is something they want to do for some reason....

>because we're supposed to because god
>because evolution

That's just what your authority figures and society told you, doesn't actually mean it's true. Say you and a woman get horny sometimes does that mean you should have children even in the worst circumstances where you know neither one of you can properly take care of it? Why do people want children so much anyways? You can call me wrong, but I'll never accept that unless the population number plummets worldwide and by that point most people would pass aside all the slop and just get with anyone for the purpose of surviving and continuing the human race. But it's not about that for women, it's about picking the best.

Are you the best, Mikkou?

Animals are better than humans sometimes, not necessarily brcause they are more moral, I don’t think they have rational souls as an Orthodox, but because they do almost all things out of necessity, and what isn’t done out of necessity isn’t justified or ran away from. They don’t lie to themselves

>>12626

i havent posted on 4chan in over a month, and i dont intend to return for a variety of reasons. there were certainly some weird people, even on /i/ (apparently one guy was a groomer), although some of them make some cool stuff. i dont hang out with anons outside of posting or playing zomboid, as anonymous internet users are not the most trustworthy individuals
>it's a hypocrisy to run a site where you ban NSFW but you're buddy buddy with NSFW artists off of the site, on Twitter, etc and promoting goon slop and big titty and ass characters, etc.
i remember people on the other site talking about puritans/anti-nsfw people, i guess they moved over here? my first impression on the site was that it was strictly anti-nsfw, though i have noticed more thirstposting as time has gone on. i dont use xitter, so idk what happens off that site
as for the rest about women, i pretty much agree on all your points, even if there is a naive part of me that thinks true love can happen. i dont like how women can easily manipulate men, and i think that reflects in how i made my femcel character. she may lie, and get others to do her bidding, but she does not use lust or romance to manipulate. im trying to strike a fine balance between not just a stereotypical female manipulator and not doing the bs hollywood badass female that can beat up men and doesnt need any help. a woman having that personality may not be realistic, but neither are talking cat people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There is a lot of lust posting going on on the other site and they seem to not like us because we're puritans. When I used to use it there were a ton of big boob posts, etc, and we don't use xitter either, but I felt like making an account for our site just incase, but I don't like xitter and definitely do not like the people who use it, so I quit it entirely. The other site has made tweets that have gotten a lot of likes and they now have a lot of followers, but funnily enough none of them use their site geg. It's funny considering we used to mock xitter, but they just ended up becoming xitter users and they use xitter regularly now.

I'm not too familiar with you but I hope that your character and your work is clean o algo. HMOFA people ARE degenerate and just as cringe as regular furries, yeah. Either way on the topic of women, I do not personally see myself ever realistically being able to love a woman.

I've gone back and forth on the idea of loving a woman in the past, but most of all of it was unfortunately inspired by lust, often at times I felt a very strong sexual urge, didn't want to masturbate and used that as some sort of reasoning as to why I should get a girlfriend, but now I don't feel that way, I've fully accepted that my body being hormonal is something that I can't change, but what I can change is just not being able to act on it, so I don't goon, don't want a gf or anything like that and I focus primarily on trying to solve puzzles and programming challenges, because I'm a game dev working without an engine, which is 2x more fun than just using gaydot or yoonity...

Either way, prioritizing women just for sex is dumb, it all comes down to relationships and quite frankly, anything outside of my house doesn't exist and there are no women in the spaces I use to talk to friends, so for the most part, they don't really exist to me, and I'm perfectly fine with that. Women are off doing whatever it is they do, out of sight, out of mind.

On the topic of 4chan...
4chan was probably one of the worst sites I've ever used, its full to the brim with degenerates. I didn't exactly start off as a saint, I used to be a gooner, back in 2023 but I healed through a process of being exposed to the worst fucking things I have ever seen thanks to 4channers and shit like a relatively peaceful thread talking about anthros with little to no porn or goonshit suddenly being spammed or infiltrated by people talking about having sex with actual foxes, urine, shit, farts, people posting gay porn, rape, people fantasizing over how skunk anthros would smell and hyenas and shit, people fawning over animal genitals. It's just fucked. 4chan is fucked. You go to any normal "sfw" board and you're likely to see something sexual immediately. Their brains are fucked to the point where anything that isn't hardcore porn just isn't porn to them.

With the other site it's a little bit like that, they don't see obvious goonbait as bannable, they're too lenient. Still part of the issue IMO.

The Sharty also slowly became like that because our board was being infiltrated by similar types of people, and the jannies would start spamming porn from time to time to piss me off. We are a strictly anti-NSFW never goon community, but The Sharty didn't respect that, in retaliation for the 10m get being about averi and /anthro/, they turned our board into a porn board and it was getting spammed to shit. Creating a "splinter" was inevitable.

Anyways I'm glad to see someone like you here and the fact that people are still finding out about this site somehow. If there's one thing you should know about me though is that I have burned a lot of bridges and get really schizophrenic about people etc, so I have no issues with you posting here if you follow the rules obviously, but if you have anything else like a steam or xitter or whatever, I'd advise you not to send me anything that could let me dig up shit on you, because I've done that with so many people and that just lead to me unfriending them or disliking them. So if you have anything to hide, I don't mind it, I'd actually recommend you do hide some stuff from me, just for my own sake. I've unfortunately been hurt by the process of figuring out that some art I like was made by someone who draws porn about a billion times, or that someone I like is a gooner, etc.

I think it's cool that you found this site though, I've always kind of liked your art, even if it kind of screams danger to me in some weird way, probably because other-site talked about it once or twice or something, but that fear is kind of irrational on my part, imo.
>>12659
I think the idea of getting a gf or trying to be friends is usually apart of my phase of trying to be normal and fit in with society and be a person, after a while, these fears die down and I simply do not want to do these things, I manage to find something, stop being bored, stop worrying so much and quit the idea of trying to be a person and that makes me happier, just not giving a fuck.
>>12659
Another one of the straws that broke the camels back for me with the other-site was them directly advertising their site to 4chan's /hmofa/ threads. Their site quickly became a hmofa site first and foremost, and that's a big reason as to why I hate them.
>>12650
Well yeah, that’s what I’m currently doing. I’m back at work now, so that’s money somewhat sorted for now. >in world war 1, german scientists open a rift to another world in the late stages of the war
>doesnt win them the war, but manages to transport millions of animal people from another earth to our earth.
>animal people were in the medieval age, so their population is low compared to humans. even in modern times humans outnumber animal people 10:1
i imagine humans and animal people get along to varying degrees of success, while in other places they do not get along at all. between animal people, they had wars against other races for ages. goat people hunted by wolf people, etc. comparatively, the animal people do not engage in as much race wars, because they are generally subjects of larger human states, though there may be a few exceptions, like goat people allying with the nazis to fight the soviets (who allied with wolf people)

i basically agree. however, while femcel is weak (she cannot beat up men like in le modern action movies), she is smart, and a good shot. im also toying with the idea of her having a brain chip that enhances reflexes, but her natural catlike reflexes could also explain away her snap shots
shes also does not usually face her enemies in person, but gets her private army of soldiers (who are all men) to do her bidding. maybe its too "not like le other girls", but i still wanted an excuse to animate her shooting people

There are female serial killers, but maybe yandere-type characters are too gay. Also I'm pretty sure most of the time women actually kill people is via drugging or something like that. No matter how hard you try you will never really be able to make a female supersoldier realistic in any sense.
Replies: >>16317
>>16316
well, there has to be some suspension of disbelief when dealing with animal people and supersoldiers. that said, i am still trying to make femcel a "badass" without it being too unrealistic or laughable. im sick of petite women beating up soldiers in movies, but i still want to have femcel be a dangerous person. drugging is a good idea for her killing her enemies, especially early on
>you will never really be able to make a female supersoldier realistic in any sense.
it would be optimal to have a male supersoldier. femcel hires only men for her private army. even if she has a microchip, its more to let her slip out of situations than actively pursue them
Replies: >>16318 >>16320
>>16317
I'm gonna be real with you, I think I've fallen into the same sort of writing trope before and I find the idea of a "badass wooman" to be cringe and laughable.

I don't think women can be badass, but they can be scary, in the sense that sometimes the real monsters are the people whom you least expect. I could go deeper into it, but I think amongst men, there is a general fear of female betrayal, and that can extend into stories pretty easily, a female villain who uses her charm as a disguise, but these sorts of villains need a good backstory, but typically it's some easy to write shit like "le abuse" or "le miserable childhood".

For a female hero, I feel like femcel just works better as a slice of life girl who doesn't fit in with society's norms and is badass, but only in an everyday sort of sense, like helping other people in bad situations, maybe she spots a poor woman getting harassed by men in the street, so she throws a rock at them and calls them assholes, get's their attention and the men chase after her instead of harassing the women, and then she pretends to fall over, but then shoots both of the men in an alley way, far away from other people and dumps their body into the water or something like that. Maybe something like that works better than just le epic female badass who kills people with guns because its hecking cool o algo.
Replies: >>16319 >>16321
>>16318
I also think that women need a good character arc, you know I actually really appreciated Jolyne's character progression in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6, she was very reliant on her boyfriend and kind of a push over, but after her time in jail and acquiring her stand and going through everything, she began to strengthen up.

Maybe I'm sexist for thinking that women can't be strong, but maybe you just need to give me a good reason to believe that women can be strong. I think a female bodybuilder could beat the shit out of me easily.
Replies: >>16320
>>16317
I would also be wary of including magical technology in your stories without properly explaining what they are and what it does and how it integrates with society and why your character has it.
>>16319
But to add onto this, for me you can't really just show me that a woman is strong, you have to show me HOW the woman is strong, and then I'll believe it. A lot of media does this right, I believe.
>>16318
Also that last part is kind of how Saul Goodman managed to kidnap those bullies. Men can be really weak too, but I guess a strong man just being strong is a lot more believable than a woman, for me. I don't know if this makes me sexist, but I mean in general, heroes need some sort of training montage to show where they got their strength from.

Obviously things are a bit different nowadays because everyone got a gun and there are gun toting foids out there in this place they call "Murica" but quite frankly it just adds to why I hate guns so much, because they're stupid and easy and showcase nothing about the personal or physical strength of a person. Body to body fights will always be more interesting in my opinion, than a skinny nigga with a glock managing to get the jump on someone who would destroy him in a boxing match.
Replies: >>16322
>>16321
But maybe guns level the playing field some people are just derp lucky and got great genes or something like that, so how is that fair? Well, we do powerscaling a lot, right? Also David could only beat Goliath with technology...

Anyways that's enough of my rambling, if you can, just try and make the audience believe that femcel deserves her strength and power and victory, because if she doesn't then it's just boring, woman kills soldiers I guess. We root for the people we want to win and are satisfied when they do, and we like seeing them grow and train as people.

femcel is abused as a child, horribly so to the point where she loses her humanity and sense of self, and has to rebuild herself throughout her teenage and early adult years. her end personality is someone who is brave and does not fear death, but is also sadistic and cunning. i find she does not really act like a real woman. maybe its because a guy came up with her, but i think it could be possible for someone like her to exist given her background
>she throws a rock at them and calls them assholes, get's their attention and the men chase after her instead of harassing the women, and then she pretends to fall over, but then shoots both of the men in an alley way, far away from other people and dumps their body into the water or something like that.
that is a good idea for a plotline
>I hate guns so much, because they're stupid and easy and showcase nothing about the personal or physical strength of a person.
lol noguns britbong seething at gunchads (i am a gun loving ameriGOD). jokes aside, for that second part, femcel is a physically-weak machiavellian woman who is willing to do dishonorable and evil things to bring about her end goals, for which she feels she is morally justified in doing so. so i think using tech like guns to level the playing field fits into her character. that and i may have her be some sort of investor in tech that allows creation of supersoldiers

A while back, I used to write similar stories about abused women and their male abusers, looking back on it, I regret writing those stories and am thankful nothing ever came from them, because they were flawed, and I feel like I notice that same flawed thought pattern in you as I had back then. The way that we write women, as men, is kind of extremely unrealistic or it falls heavily into tropes
>Le abuse
>Bad childhood
>Tragic backstory
>Dead loved one
>Etc
When I think back to Kazerad's Prequel Comic, Katia makes more sense, she was an underachieving prostitute on a quest to become a better person.

I would go more into this about myself, but this is about you and your story. I feel like this whole dark and edgy undertone you have just doesn't really fit someone as skinny and unthreatening as femcel. She genuinely looks like a tsundere, and if you go about it correctly you might give people that impression. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to tone down the edginess and the DARK TRAGICness of it all, she doesn't have to be abused SO BAD AS A CHILD or whatever to the point where you might even go to sexually disturbing plotlines like others have, you know kids have committed mass attrocities for far less. Which, I hope you haven't, you should probably avoid that. I'm not too proud over even Kazerad making Katia a prostitute, but I guess as a man, I don't really understand what it's like for a woman to be at shit creek, and it's not like men who have nothing are whoring themselves out, they're just dying away in an alleyway drinking booze all day.

If you want my opinion, Femcel should just be an abnormal underachieving child who was bullied in school, works a job she doesn't like to work, does the same routine every day and men don't find her attractive, she has a few friends maybe, but for the most part maybe she is like a female version of yourself, but instead of being depressed or suicidal o algo, every now and then she does something mildly badass or somehow works up the strength to actually beat up someone or get into a fight for the greater good. She can be an anti-hero and maybe even make terrible decisions that do actually hurt people, but change her mind in the end.

You'd have to work out where that goes though, maybe she could get into the drug dealing world or maybe she could save a woman who's husband is beating her, but maybe she's also a minx who gets drunk with her friends and throws rocks at ugly moids houses and steals, and maybe she goes to jail for it and maybe she can have a jail arc o algo, idk, the possibiltiies are endless.
Replies: >>16331
>>16330
Though I think I worded the first paragraph a bit poorly, it's just not about how men write female characters, it's this over insistence on there needing to be a dark and tragic backstory for your character to be interesting, when in actuality it just kind of makes your character tumblr-edgy without any actual substance.

People enjoy the slow and methodical build up to bad things, like how a good husband eventually abuses his wife or how a good wife eventually poisons her husband.

But generally speaking, most female characters fall into this victim archetype, the princess needs to be saved, the abused child, the damsel in distress, etc. Then you have the Mary Sues, and the "badass" fem fatalles, then some characters are just whores or whatever. I think women can be more than just tropey characters, so for your character Femcel, the best thing to happen to her would be character progression, she can be moody now, but maybe later on, she shifts her tone and actually changes as a person.
Though, I don't tend to believe that an abuse plotline is entirely out of the question, abusers do seem to want to relive their abuse or to try and understand it, so they might inflict it on others to reclaim their trauma and turn it into some form of empowerment, it wasn't abuse it was teaching, it was education for how you can do the same, they might even come to like their abusers for teaching them how to abuse others, or they might just reach some level of acceptance.

However I think I find such plotlines to be boring and only fitting for villain characters, not heros. Our villains are the people who abuse others because of their tragic edgy backstory, they're insufferable, hardly ever sympathetic, and it makes the actions of the hero more justifiable.

Looks good, my experience with 3d modeling came down to vehicles and architecture, I could never get modeling anything more correct. Part of my problem is time, and the other is the software I was using.

Would love to be able to do something like that one day, but I have too many projects on.

I paid someone who made a lot of models to re-crate one of my characters for me. I ended up being really unhappy with how it turned out, so I am glad I didnt end up paying for the clothing as well.

the two 2d images are mine, the 3d is the T-pose I had created. Given this was a few years ago now, and I asked for several revisions of the character before I said, yeah what ever.

Honestly I had just as much drama with an artist doing work for my other book trying to create human characters, the artists just wen rogue and did their own thing. Deposit paid for the work so the money was gone.

>how does racism work in the anthro world
its more based on species. fur color within species is probably more akin to different eye/hair color, though for more diverse species like cats, it may be more racial. different breeds could be different subraces. if i draw more dog breeds than border collies, they will probably be seen as different races to eachother
>what is the nigger of the anthro world.
probably hyenas
>probably the humans, cus they suck.
i imagine a lot of the anthros dont like humans, because humans brought them into their world and their values are so different from the anthro's medieval values. also racism was just a fact of life for anthros, so having a bunch of different races who have had hatred for each other for thousands of years now living together could result in resentment towards humans, though many if not most anthros have just integrated to human values. i could also have a theme where anthros are suspicious of humans, as humans probably try to make a lot of porn fetishizing their species, at least in the modern age
Replies: >>18602 >>18603

Replies: >>18607

essentially anthros are wary of humans due to the fetishization that some of them have with trying to sleep with every race/species, but if i were in charge, i'd make that illegal under beastiality even if they are human-like, because they'll be incompatible genetically and it'll be considered taboo amongst anthros to be with humans and vice versa.

mixed species couples should be illegal, etc.
Replies: >>18604 >>18607
>>18603
But idk, I don't really like the idea of the government controlling too much about your life, the government should only really safeguard you, so I believe that anthro and human relationships should be taboo or illegal, aswell as race mixing to some extent, maybe not illegal but just taboo or something, it should be really frowned upon.
Replies: >>18605 >>18607
>>18604
Or just make it illegal, but then people will just do it in private anyways, so the gov would be datamining you to make sure if you talk to anthros that you're not being weird with them, so it's like pedophilia for grown ups who happen to be different species. I mean then theres the implications of there being retarded "Species is just a hecking social construct" hippy protests or whatever.
Replies: >>18607
Or I could just turn off my brain and live in a fantasy world where everyone is racist and the LNWO is in order. That works also, instead of being realistic.
>>18602
i made the anthro universe, so i can decide to make species less negroidic just because i think they look cute. the anthros draw some traits from their animal counterparts, but perhaps not as extreme as beastars. cats form small tight knit families, but can be aloof and solitary. they are "sigma" in that they dont really go with the flow a lot of the time. border collies are high iq and sociable, but very neurotic. wolves are sociable in that they follow their pack or tribe almost blindly, but are strong and dont care about inflicting suffering on prey or outsiders (i base wolves on the best and worse aspects of slavs). that said, all anthros have to act somewhat human (able to form tribes, groups) for them to make their own civilizations
>>18603
>>18604
>>18605
well if the anthros did come into our world at the tail (lol) end of ww1, our history might develop to outlaw such things, but how else am i supposed to make a biting (lol x2) commentary on postmodern decadence and degeneracy? countries like the usa and much of the west probably permit mixed-species couples, though it grows more taboo and illegal in other countries. also just because its legal to marry a wolf girl in your country doesnt mean her parents wont kill you and dump your body into a river
Replies: >>18609
>>18607
I didn't even consider the other countries, also an idea about a human marrying a wolf girl only for a male wolf love interest to murder the human for her love and affection seems pretty interesting, and hey I don't even think that would be illegal in some animal-like colonies or whatever, they might consider murder to be justified or legal, like men fighting over women, I think some women might like that, having a spouse who would kill for them, that seems like something animals would need for survival when it comes to having a partner, someone who's good at hunting and protecting, etc.

I personally am going to avoid thinking about it all too much because I don't really want to even think about portraying or writing something like that. My ideal anthro world contains no humans and maybe countries and a few different species whom typically live in certain countries, like maybe Cats and Dogs and Foxes live in England and Dragons live in Asia, etc. Wolves live in murica maybe, etc. I think having humans in an anthro world just ruins things for me, I like anthros because I hate humans.

I'm also just kind of a kid I don't want to read or write about the problems we have in the real world, I don't want no romance stories or anything that even mentions sex or gets close to it in any way, I basically just want mi anthro worlds to be like Sonic the Hedgehog or something, but that world has humans so dnb but it's kid friendly so it's whatever.

BUT I'LL NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU DID IN SONIC 06, SEGA, THAT HFOMA STORY BETWEEN ELISE AND SONIC WAS NOT OKAY!

About that first part, some animals live in patriarchy and often fight for dominance, so it does make a lot of sense I suppose. Somewhat unfortunately, if you go more for the animalistic side, you'll have some species that operate moreso in harems. But there are some animals that do mate for life

I know you're kind of anonymous and all but I find the art you make to be very impressive to the point where it makes me feel like I don't actually know how to draw, for some reason. i have no intention of doing drawing porn. pornography has caused issues for me and many others, and i would rather not be part of the problem. that said, i enjoy drawing things like violence and blood. i decided against posting it here, but on the other site i made several drawings of a collie woman being abused by slave traders, based on my kenshi playthrough. maybe in some ways that makes me worse than a gooner, having a fascination with themes like that. i guess like most americans, i dislike sexual degeneracy, but am totally fine with violence. i like drawing cute things, but i also like splicing heavy and dark themes, femcel is kind've a personification of those conflicting ideas mushed together
>I should learn from you either ways, how do you draw so much?
having free time helps. i dont actually draw that much, but i did during school. you could try buying a sketchbook and doodling whenever you feel like it. if you want to improve though, you are gonna have to use references. dont be afraid to trace too, though only for understanding the shapes other artists use
>Am I just weak or stupid, I could never make that much characters, I mean where do you even begin, just generating characters.
i have a very active imagination, so over the years i have built up a collection of ocs in my head. my earliest concept of asher i came up with about 5 years ago, for example. if you dont feel like you have an active imagination, you could also do what i do, and steal characters, and slowly evolve them to the types of characters you would like. i guess a nicer way to put it is to look for inspiration. what kind of fictional (or non-fictional) characters do you like and admire?
>I think maybe one day I should make a character thread on this site and ask the people what kind of characters I should make, maybe that could work.

I don't really want you to leave, I see potential in you, but I guess you and I aren't really in the same boat, just floating next to eachother, while others are farther away. Maybe it's a bit intrusive, but I hope the best for you.
>someone also told me that they are the most sexually abused breed of dog
I don't even know who told you that or how they know that, but I won't question it, I've heard zoophile horror stories regarding border collies, truly disgusting things happening out there, in the real world.

I see your artwork, and you almost inspire me to be more creative and artistic with how cute you draw anthro characters, but the abuse and violence is definitely a major red flag, especially for creatures that are very cute. I know perhaps there are double standards in this, such as me supporting the gore of boykisser, but boykisser is an icon of sodomy, but other things like cute border collie women, I'm not happy with that. I don't believe that women need to be abused so you can have your fantasy of saving and protecting them, ideally you'd prevent that from happening altogether.

I'm a bit on edge with how I feel about women, I can say that I hate women one time, but the moment you bring up abuse or sexual violence or pornography, suddenly I don't hate women anymore, I'm not sure what's up with that personally, but that's me. I would probably be a bit more okay if you're drawing cartoony depictions of male anthros going to war or something, but the women, I think is kind of a no-go. Perhaps it's chivalrous values ingrained into me by instincts, not sure.

I don't hate you, I want to like you and I think you should post here still, but apart of that wanting to like you, whether that's parasocial or not, is the part of me that wants you to make some changes for the better. I know telling you this won't change much, and everyone is different, but if you won't change, then I'll atleast try to learn some lessons from how you draw and try to be as creative as you, and remember the good parts of you and continue them on in my soul instead of yours. I very strict goal in mind and if other people aren't reliable to me, then I'll have to carry out that goal myself.

Some day, I'm going to have to make comics and stories and videogames about anthro related stuff, because in my mind, I'm the only person who knows how to do it correctly. But it would be nice if I could meet more people whom I could get to know and trust and treat them as friends. Maybe you don't want to be friends but, this is a small website after all, and I want to like everyone here, but this is just an imageboard, so I guess I won't like all my users, but we are very tightly knit.

They clearly love women, I hope they translate that love of them into the real world, for me it's complicated. But those people could learn a lesson or two from the experience, albeit, the unfortunate truth is that those men won't learn anything at all.

I want to save everyone, I can't handle reality and how some people are the way they are.

one of the reasons on why i cannot do a 3d renderebanner with averi is because the model i have found(yes, it came with .blend) has an abysmally bad rig, because "blender pros"(e.g. not just pro 3d artists) AVOID using regular armature at all costs, despite the better visibility compared to their wire bs and just how easy it is to do the
this and the weirdly made shading(which is basically a lazy implementation of cel via the use of texture -> emission -> output, which makes this shit look ugly as fuck)

Everytime I draw Averi I always use a reference to make sure that my depictions of her are comparable to the original, without this, mistakes can be made, and I've made many in the past. For example, in the past I've made the entirety of her thighs brown and swished her hair in the wrong directions. Often attempts at being creative just lead to errors, if you go off model too much you may end up making a different fox character entirely.

I like your arterino here, but the problem is not just the eyes and the wideness in between them, it's the small mouth, the lack of cutesy expressiveness that she always has. Her expression is very important in my opinion, but I don't think that should take away from your art or anytihng, it looks good regardless.

Rule of thumb is that as long as you can express the idea effectively then nothing else really matters, even if you make really shoddy low quality artwork of averi, as long as it's extremely recognizable as averi, then nothing else matters because nobody else really cares about your thought process, they just look at da art and think its le cool.

She's a cute simple character created by a wholesome artist who was canceled by evil LGBT types for no good reason and she's also easy to draw. But unfortunately there are people who corrupt her so I've made this website to try and continue the legacy of fiddleafox in a way she would have wanted.

There are people who also think she's a hecking based alt right chudfur character or whatever but personally I don't think she has anything to do with politics, her characters are cute and I think her creation deserves to live on, definitely in spite of LGBT troons who think they rule the world and think they can gatekeep, but also out of wholesomeness because I really do just like these characters, they could have gone somewhere and it's such a shame to see wasted potential because of internet drama, but I understand why she's gone, she's been sexually harassed to death by strangers and it just sucks to see, and they'll target other women too, like Starr, and I just hate that.

Well, no, I didn't know her personally, I guess I've always just felt sorry for her, and I became a fan of her work after finding out about her. I was introduced to this whole thing through a lot of different people, but eventually I got so tired of the HMOFA waifu shit.

I'm exactly like you, I like wacky cartoon animals and sometimes anthro people, but I hate sex and romance, that's not the kind of thing I want to see. What I want to see is people being creative and not constantly horny all the time, I want to have a site that's actually safe for work, and so I created this website and named it after a martyr of sorts, shaping it to be how a website like this should have been from the very beginning.

>>25543
In desparation for users, they dug in the cesspool bin of 4chan. We have less users, but people like you get here somehow, and that's all that matters. The intention of our users is better than sticking your paws in a barrel of shit and just running with it.
>>25544
The entire internet can often feel like it's too horny at times, this place is my safe haven. Hopefully doing something different will pay off not just for me, but for everyone.
>>25544
Truth be told with Averi though, a lot of those anfoo people are mega waifuist gooners, and they take that to Averi aswell. I do not want to marry a fictional character, nor do I think anyone should be saying shit like that, I genuinely think that gender doesn't really matter in cutesy cartoon animals, it just sucks that I guess there are people that are so lonely that instead of looking for friendship and genuine connection, they saught out comfort in fictional charicatures of women.

I uh, met some people on my journey to make this place, and those people chose their waifus over being friends with me, it's a long story, but it's not only hilarious how people choose their waifus over actual human beings, but also incredibly sad.
Replies: >>25554
>>25544
>I'm exactly like you, I like wacky cartoon animals and sometimes anthro people, but I hate sex and romance, that's not the kind of thing I want to see.
i get what u mean. imo in an ideal space where NSFW is banned and nobody's gooning in secret, i don't think there's anything wrong with art that happens to be provocative (although if you chase it for its own sake you deny yourself things that are a lot more interesting). there's a line to be drawn between animal lust & "erotic" love, in the original sense of that word

>>25547
i can't put people down for having crushes on fictional characters -- i've had embarrasing crushes too, it habbens
but idk there is a weird kind of impotence in obsessing over fictional women in the way that some of those guys do, anthro or not. i think seeking out the "ideal" woman in fiction might be missing the point of women
Replies: >>25559
>>25554
Not the point of women, but the point of love. Most relationships aren't perfect, but in their youth and confusion, they're just masturbating, maybe when they grow up they'll realize if they want to connect with another person properly, and realize that a woman is more than body parts and comically overplayed romance slop "O-h-hh anon? Anon noticed me... Kawaii >w<" tropes. It's escapism, sure, but it's just so annoying considering they attribute it to everything, and I just want anthro art and media without that slop. I'm personally just not interested. And you know what, if I ever do get a girlfriend, I would like her to be a real human being, not a sex doll or an animoo archetype.

but that will never happen o algx... Albeit for personal reasons, I don't really understand those types of relationships anyways. I think those men believe that all women are perfect, a lot of women are really bad, I think theres some neutrality to this world, perverted creepy men exist just as bad and horrible women, but they don't see that, because they are pigs. I look down on overly sexual women, I think they misunderstand the point of being a woman.

Real relationships are a lot more complicated and nuanced, it's not all about money or attraction, two ugly people could get together just fine if they realized they couldn't live without eachother, if they realized that they loved eachother, there is someone for everyone, but they place the burden of importance on what they find to be the most attractive... which is an animal person... for some reason? Listen I think Averi looks cute but that doesn't mean I wanna smooch her or some shit, and I think a lot of people here agree. There's probably female anthro fans, maybe sonic fans out there etc who would also cringe at the idea of Sonic self-insert romance wattpad fanfictions etc. But a lot of them are into that weird shipping stuff so honestly this kind of thing is not limited to tranfoo it's a universal cancer.

I know we've all done some embarassing stuff, but without the proper reinforcement, they'll never snap out of it. They're not anthro enthusiasts, they're coom enthusiasts, the only thing they care about is tits and ass and lovey dovey almost-smut stories written by actual porn artists, hell most of their users are genuinely NSFW artists, but they all huddle together on a "SFW only" site that's mostly softcore goonslop. I'll never truly understand women but I have the common sense to know that a woman is more than just butt, boobs and fuck.

Quite frankly I'm not a feminist, I don't even care about women, I guess if anything I'm moreso scared of women, I'm not some sycophant but I'm scared because the world is full of them and I have an extreme amount of anxiety, I feel like all men typically want out of a woman is to try and fuck them, I've only ever really wanted friendship, and I've had that, but in the past, I've made mistakes, but nothing could ever really get rid of that burden, that irrational anxiety, I suppose.

So it's just easier to talk to men. Aswell as that, it's just that horny coomers just piss me off, they're everywhere, and the faggot femboy types piss me off too. Through my exposure to bad people, I have become a very eccentric type of extremist, an anti-sexual anthro puritan, in a way I keep hold to and rebuild my own youthful innocence by taking risks, shutting people out and not exposing myself to things I don't want to see. Surprisingly, I feel like I can say safely that it has worked, and I hope this lasts for a long time. Hopefully you agree with some of this and again I welcome you to our website, this isn't your average imageboard, we have morals and priorities.

i get the sense that a lot of waifu types especially of the anthro variety are straight up not that into actual women, which is fine in theory, but they tend to buy into this "straight romance will save evropa" LARP & force themselves to pretend-marry virtual "women" who aren't very much like women at all

marriage isn't the goal of human existence, it's a concession from god towards man's sexual urges, so virgins will receive the greatest reward in heaven & whatnot. personally i've had a lot of female friends (before all the good ones pooned out etc.), but i honestly find them pretty gross on a sensual level and have never wanted an intimate relationship with one. that's fine. it'd be nice if these things changed but ultimately there are more valuable things to pursue

>Quite frankly I'm not a feminist, I don't even care about women, I guess if anything I'm moreso scared of women, I'm not some sycophant but I'm scared because the world is full of them and I have an extreme amount of anxiety
yeah i definitely sympathise with being anxious about this stuff, but at the end of the day, living your life permanently terrified of the gooner in the heart of your fellow man is letting evil rule over you. really you just have to pity those guys for how small their internal worlds are. same goes for women -- if anything i think they're leading an even more horrifying existence rn

>I have become a very eccentric type of extremist, an anti-sexual anthro puritan
lmao. i wouldn't personally call myself "anti-sexual" or a "puritan" for above reasons -- like yeah in some sense i am those things but the terms are very externally-focused. imo you need a place for those emotions if you want to give people who are struggling a reason to convert to your cause

again i fail to see anything wrong with finding X character attractive & stating as much, if that's genuinely how someone feels. we have the ability to feel that way because it can be a very productive form of love if you know how to use it. but even if waifu stuff isn't evil per se, people can & should aspire to more than that

Welcome fellow newgod. There’s a story I’ve got to tell you. The message, and moral of it will, I trust, be obvious. If not… then I don’t well know how to help it.

There was once a plane that crashed by a deserted island in the pacific ocean. Only two passengers survived: a godless xitter troon, with every std known to man, and a tranthro.fail user, who called xim a faggot, proclaiming himself straight for only gooning to HMOFA.
Well the two looked around and found a spring, cocunut trees, and a cave to shelter in. The xittertroon turned to the hmofacuck and said “Well, theres food, drink and a home. But what about our most important need of all, for carnal intimacy…” The hmofacuck scoffed and said “Well, following the old greek tradition, if one of us were to only give and the other to only recieve, it would be considered the same as a heterosexual union.”
The xittertroon smiled and said “Can I be the reciever?”
The hmofachud said:
“It would be wrong to force you into a woke lifestyle, so in the interest of fairness, I’ll tell you a riddle. If you solve it, you can top me, but if you fail I must top you.”
xittertroon: “deal, now give me your riddle!”
hmofachud: “What animal looks like a horse with black and white stripes?”
xittertroon: “A frog!”
hmofachud (bending over): “Aw darn, you guessed it!”
And so they lived out the rest of their lives together on the island.

How long that was, you may judge for yourself when you consider the prevalence of AIDS medication to be found on a deserted island.

Schizos are common on imageboards, especially niche ones. You'll definitely get used to it.

>>30659
When requesting/receiving art, keep in mind that nobody is obligated to do something for you, and there's a decent chance someone will respond with something rude instead. Be grateful for what kindness you are shown, remember to acknowledge when someone has spent time drawing for you, and don't request multiple times within the same thread. Nobody likes drawing for a greedy requester, nor do they like someone who nitpicks small details. Additionally, don't ever become that one schizo who requests the same hyper-specific thing in every thread after already getting what you asked for. Nobody likes that guy.

tl;dr: Be polite, don't give detractors attention, and when you do get art, do not forget that people are giving you things out of the goodness of their hearts.

I hate homestuck but it inspires me to make something like that, as in, I think it would be more worthwhile for you to make an interactive comic than a visual novel, or something that is in that format gives way for more creativity, in something like homestuck you can play games and read the story whereas a visual novel typically is just text and skip button. But some visual novels spice it up like Danganronpa.

If you do make a visual novel try to make it interesting like that, I suppose.

i am partial to the just-read-and-click type of visual novel, i kind of see them like regular books except they have pictures & you can distribute them easily online - that being said i think the way they're usually set out visually loses some expressivity compared to comics & animation
i'll definitely play around with it when i get the chance anyway, maybe it'd be better to just do something in HTML so i can host it on a website & move between visual/literary mediums depending on my mood
actually that sounds like a very good idea

bro's name is rya kerr. he is fiercely anti globalist, and compares the avail illuminate [the current globalist order] to the papacy. he used to be in a pack of six before it had split up into two packs of three due to conflicts in separate values. I guess I'm making an arbitrary deviation from official avail lore such that they are not as dependent on pack bonds since I would like to have certain characters to have different identities. he lives in a terraformed moon in a system different from Avalon's [the origin moon avail came from], to which the moon he lives in has significant human influence. Haven't decided on the total human/avail population, but most religious avail there would be syncretic, only being influenced by eastern religions as that corresponds to their culture the most similarly. There is an extremely small population of christian avail, probably less than 400 if the moon has a total avail population of 100,000. even his current pack mates are of different denominations, with one being anglo-cath and the other one being eastern orthodox. I came up with this yesternight.

i tend to avoid mentioning religion in my own work b/c stories and parables generally serve a metaphorical purpose anyway, but this seems like a strong setup for exploring different theologies, if that's what you're doing. it also raises some interesting questions - if avali have souls, does that mean they bear the image of God in this universe? if so can this God be considered the same as ours?
you'd also be surprised at the parallels between certain eastern religions & early christianity - i believe seraphim rose said taoism was the closest people came to the truth without divine revelation

For using the drawing tablet, I had to use a Wayland session for KDE. Because for some reason, I can only change drawing tablet settings using system settings under Wayland but not Xlibre. I had to use KDE's system settings for setting up bindings for my drawing tablet's buttons because GIMP's binding settings for drawing tablets was pretty bad, the biggest problem being I couldn't do things like zooming in and out using the ring of my tablet kind of like a scroll wheel, but it's possible by setting bindings for it using system settings. Maybe Krita is better but I couldn't be bothered to try to get used to Krita so I just stuck with GIMP because it's what I'm used to and it's competent enough for drawing to me

XLibre works better on my end yeah I agree but KDE did not implement drawing tablet settings for Xorg because Wayland is the future or something. I use X11, Krita and i3wm no KDE, drawing tablet has no settings it just works doesnt need configuring, could probably hack it with some xinput commands or whatever or something like that, you shouldn't have to switch display servers to configure something. What kind of tablet do you have? Arch linux wiki should have answers, I'm sure theres a cli tool or something.

Pose and do perspective with 2D shapes instead, dont rely on 3D. Stare at reference images for a long time and you'll learn something also what you have isn't a bad base for a trace over with fixes. Like how most drawings start off with 1 first sketch, then another resketch, you can always keep resketching

I think I've definitely gotten better over the years, even though I didn't draw as much, I just spend more and more time on drawings until it looks right, and that's what makes you a good artist, you figure out why it looks wrong, and then you try to solve it. If you can't see anything wrong, simply do nothing, some asshole critique is gonna come over and say "noo nooo you did it all wrong!"

>>40744
The drawing is pretty good but the face seems kinda goofy and the hands are strange, but I typically avoid drawing hands because I hate them. The wobbliness of it all adds charm. I think shading can go a long way, and colour too. Overall pretty good though, not sure what I would do with this personally, probably ink over it, move the eyes a bit to make them bigger, add more fur around the head and arm regions because I like fluff, give him a bigger tail, maybe add more detail to his shirt or trousers, creasing goes a long way too.
>>40754
Yeah it looks pretty good honestly but lighting sometimes helps with the direction and volume of where objects go n shieet

I'm not a real artist though I didn't read no nigger book I just look at shit
I'll just have to keep practicing then. Maybe look at some drawing tutorials on YouTube to git gud and also to use references. I didn't use any references except the latest one and I just used a picture of a red fox for reference
Replies: >>40759
Anyways I always start mi drawings with like, a circle, for the head, then I draw a cross on it in the direction I want the head to face, then I just sort of wing the pose I want and then I add some subtle details carving out what I want, and make a new layer sketching over it entirely to fix all the mistakes I made. Doesn't really take that long at all. I'm glad to be drawing again, depression kills my creativity for some reason, but drawing cures my depression.

>>40758
If you just wanna doodle don't care so much but if you want to put a ton of time and effort into a drawing then you should spend 1 - 2 days on a singular drawing pulling in a shit ton of references, study what a skateboard even is, how it works, etc.
One of the funnest parts of drawing is trying out lighting and shading and just seeing your drawing pop and come to life, its pretty awesome. I'll hopefully get really good at art some day, it's a journey of discovering and always improving, and you have to start by making shit art to eventually make good art. I'm kind of at the stage now where I actually sort of enjoy some of the drawings I make, whereas I never really used to.
I tried to make the marty realistic but said fuck it and gave it cartoon eyes and it worked btw, so always try different things and if they don't work, fall back, I guess.

Well, he's probably criticizing the fox's right hand which does look weird and off. Which I do agree. For the legs, I'm not sure what he's criticizing. But I do think that that the feet looks too big than it needs to be.

The thing is. I'm still not used to drawing with the tablet. It feels weird and off. Maybe if I get used to it I can really improve on my drawings. Drawing with a tablet isn't the same as drawing on paper
Hands are like somehow, the most difficult thing to draw for some reason. It's very real. Everyone has hands. Especially every artist. Yet, hands takes a bit more training than what is expected from something normal. Could be because hands are more complex than what it seems

Study how to draw humans. Then study how to draw animals. Then combine the knowledge together

idk if I reposted this
I feel so rusty
furries have an extremely common tendency to be unable to draw humans
I think the best body part to start is the head because with any other body part, it gets demoralizing not being able to post artwork people resonate with when you haven't learned to draw the head yet. I feel that my works are soulless because of that.

before you get dirty minded, I meant that he is carrying all the burdens in developing the facial anatomy for drawing avail.
"No matter how much you draw, how skilled you get to be t how well trained your eye becomes, you will always have to begin by building the head correctly, just as a carpenter, no matter how long he has worked, alwavs measures a board before he cuts it." 🖋🖋🔥🔥
I would post some of my photography here, but I want to maintain good opsec

>Furries can't draw humans because their art looks ugly

FTFY.

if you're drawing in a cartoon style (i.e. the majority of artists online) animals are genuinely more expressive & better at conveying ideas

Sybau. Most humans are just too boring, generic and mundane to be drawn.
If i wanted a portrait of someone I would just take a photo kek.
^This is cope btw, I really want to draw portraits of people but i can't 🥀

Your drawing is pretty decent. I attempted at making the drawing look more visible than washed out in your original photo. I adjusted highlights and shadows then brightness and contrast levels using the levels filter then I set the saturation to zero
>>43580
Jokes aside, this isn't mean to resemble anyone in particular. It's just a generic human face just to see if I can still draw human faces
