Under the influence of a strong northeast monsoon, temperatures over the coast of Guangdong will drop slightly tomorrow. The weather will be cool in the morning, mainly fine and very dry during the day, with a rather large temperature difference between day and night. Besides, Tropical Cyclone Koto will move across the central and southern parts of the South China Sea in the next couple of days. It will then move in the general direction of the vicinity of Vietnam, weakening gradually under the influence of the northeast monsoon. A band of clouds will gradually cover the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong during the weekend to early next week. There will be one or two rain patches over the region. A replenishment of the northeast monsoon is expected to affect the coast of southern China midweek next week. Temperatures will drop slightly over the region.
