Hi there!
I’m moving to Trnava at the end of Dec for work, I’m coming for the next few years. I’m coming from Australia so quite literally a change in climate and life style. What would be your biggest tips for moving? I have never experienced real real cold, only New Zealand which sounds like summer compared to Slovakia! What are some things I should definitely bring to survive? What are summers like? I have an apartment lined up with my job, but should I bring anything specific? I don’t really care about Aussie foods or things, happy and wanting to immerse myself into the community.
Any tips on adjusting to new life or things that are must do for a new local? Thank you so much for any advice or help!
Hi! Actually went well. I mean not great timing, I finished in a bit over 7 hours but I’m just happy I did it. At the end of the day, all you can do is your best and who cares when you finish as long as you finish and get that medal!!
I didn’t open water swim once, but I just kept my breathing and pace and took it easy where I could. I cried a few times, but it’s so hard but so worth it. The nerves were definitely the worst part! Good luck! You can do it and I’m so proud of you for doing it!!!
Any last minute tips or suggestions for my first 70.3 Ironman. I’m freaking out, nervous as heck and I feel like I haven’t trained enough cause I haven’t trained in the past fortnight.
Any tips to put my best foot forward! Please and thank you!!!
My general rule of thumb for teaching is if you can lift your arms and can see down or up the top it’s a no. The bottoms you should be able to bend over and not show anything. And nothing see through obviously. I get alot of my teaching daily fits from Kookai. I’d also start with a base of neutrals, don’t go crazy with patterns until you know what you reach for daily. I also always love a pocket as you can quickly put confiscated items in your pocket as you take them quietly during a lesson then give to the office later. Plus keys and clickers are easy to shove in pockets. Good luck!!
