Two West Virginia National Guard soldiers got gunned down two blocks from the White House today, and the big Trump plan is… send 500 more troops on top of the thousands already wandering around DC like it’s Fallujah.
Because nothing says “I’ve got this under control” like turning the nation’s capital into an armed camp and then watching your own guys get ambushed in broad daylight anyway.
The shooter walked right up, opened fire, traded shots with cops, and somehow all those rifles on every corner didn’t matter one bit. Shocker.
But sure, let’s keep pretending the answer is more camouflage in the parks instead of asking the one question nobody in power wants to touch: how does a guy still get a gun and enough hate to do this in the most guarded zip code on earth?
Another surge, another headline, another prayer emoji. Same script, new body count.
Those Guardsmen didn’t sign up to be props in a security theater production. Hope they pull through. Hope someone, somewhere, finally tries something that isn’t just cosplaying tough.
