Accounts like jumping in with claims before any real facts are confirmed are just fishing for attention and clicks. Do yourself a favor and block people like this. It only fuels the constant outrage cycle.
We have to stop living at this extreme party vs party altitude and actually get work done in this country. That cannot happen when Republicans keep leaning into authoritarian talking points and panic bait instead of reality.
What happened today is not good. No one is saying it is. But it was bound to happen eventually because people are fed up with how hostile and divided everything has become. And here is a simple disclaimer for anyone trying to spin this into some grand narrative about “the left” or “the right”: there are far more civilians in this country than National Guard members.
