Hexaflake gaskets

Description

The shapes that appear thoughout these hexagons are hexaflakes. These examples have sets of hexaflakes in the interstices of each hexaflake. Their structure, and method of construction, is analogous to that of the Sierpinski carpet and Menger sponge. These were constructed on a square lattice and sheared into hexagons. Each full pattern appears at different scales within itself and the other hexagons, and two pairs are simple color inverses.

The boundary of each hexaflake is the von Koch flake, and each contains a potentially infinite number of Koch flakes, both black and white.
