America’s army secretary, Dan Driscoll, reportedly held talks with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi on Monday. Mr Driscoll also took part in meetings in Geneva on Sunday, which led to America and Ukraine drafting a new 19-point plan to end the war with Russia. America’s original plan was so one-sided as to look like a Russian wish-list.
Ukraine launched a big drone attack on Russia. Drones reportedly killed three people and injured at least 16 more in Novorossiysk, a port city, and two other cities in southern Russia. Earlier this month a similar attack forced Novorossiysk to suspend its oil exports. Meanwhile a Russian drone attack killed at least six people in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.
