Time rapidly running out for Labor’s environment legislation

HANSON CONDEMNED, PM FOCUSED ON REFORMS

After Pauline Hanson’s roundly condemned stunt, which we won’t give any more oxygen to, shut down the Senate for 90 minutes yesterday, the federal parliament returns today with the clock ticking down on the government’s hopes of passing its environmental reforms.

The Albanese government is desperate to get its overhaul of environmental laws passed before Christmas, which given this is the last sitting week of the year, means getting it done in the next three days.
