  • Is Black Friday a thing in Germany?

  • Same old promotions

  • There is nothing creative about Netcup's promotions :D

is that additional 5 euro off on BF deals?

  • Netcup is stable but blackfriday promotion with double disk space are oversold, 20/30 st and you can´t upgrade

"Upgrades to a promotional poduct are generally not possible, as these are located on separate nodes"

    https://helpcenter.netcup.com/en/wiki/general/instance-upgrade

  • Also, does shared web hosting from Netcup is cPanel or Plesk or any other panel? no mention of it. https://www.netcup.com/en/hosting

So we will get different performance? for example regular RS G12 vs promotion RS G12?

    It's mentioned there, way below.

"Plesk®: You will receive access to the Plesk® management software. Here you can innovatively manage your web hosting and your e-mails."

seems so.. just like some LET providers who offer black friday deals on other nodes which then get oversold. Because users jump for $1/mo deal, and why $12/mo user suffer because of overcrowded server node? so its better to keep seprate server for such deal even if specs are similar. The usage differs!

    Depends on location.

Vienna is good. Germany is not.

  • Netcup promotions are the least worth looking forward to, it’s always the same few things.

No pricing changes year to year? What is their BF pricing?

Few extra cores and extra storage is their top-secret exciting deal in a recurring fashion :)

Their flash deals over social media channels can be interesting at times. But they rarely push things like 1 EUR/month VPS etc.

I am expecting a 24 EUR/year Root Server with 1 Core, 2GB RAM which is still feasible if you see their current pricing for Root Servers. But I am not sure if they will ever give us such a deal. Not everyone wants multiple dedicated cores or huge storage options.

What social media mediums does Netcup put them out on?

Disk space upgrade only for same price :D
    This is a disaster.

  • manishmanish Member

    I told you guys

Instead they should do a low cost yearly root server. 1 core, 2GB RAM, just divide it by 4 and give only 1/4 of resources.

  • kkonekokkoneko Member

    Welp only disk upgrade..

  • 1 euro per year de domain. That's all I ask.

  • not bad, but ehh not my thing

  • fohadeelfohadeel Member

1st month free on RS 1000 and RS 2000

  • Nothing New
