so, OP odered a server via an account with his UK company information, and he was using VPN, which triggered a red-flag on Gorilla's billing system. and in a short time, OP ordered another server via an account with his real China? information and real China IP.

i would say, it should be reviewed carefully.

as of i know, if you pay someone in China, the money can't be charged back unless you have a court order, however in the rest of the world, it's very easy to charge back the money, so companies especially online business companies are very careful on choosing their customer

Since you are not Chinese, your statement of "as of i know" is completely incorrect.

In China, regardless of who you pay or whether you use Alipay or WeChat Pay, it is relatively easy to recover funds by filing a complaint.

Furthermore, not all Chinese people are "as of i know". Even the surface of the sun has sunspots, and there are shadows under the light.

So far, I have had good working relationships with providers like Dataforest, Fiberstate, Nuxoa, Onlyservers and 1GServers (at least nothing like the current situation has ever happened).

I wouldn’t say we have an exceptionally close relationship, but we’ve never had disputes, and they have never faced "malicious refunds" from me.

My dude ordered 3 times, 2 times flagged as fraud and 3rd one worked and he is shocked that things take longer than usual?
Like what kind of utopia you are living?

If you don’t know the truth, please don’t make assumptions.

The first two times, I used my UK company’s information and a VPN (to avoid being blocked by China’s GFW and unable to access the website), paying with a Chinese credit card — flagged as fraud.

The third time, I used local information and a local network, paying with the same Chinese credit card — approved.

If KYC is required for IP broadcasting, I will fully cooperate — not wait endlessly without any response.

    Endlessly being 3 days.

Yes, I waited for three days. Unless I followed up via support tickets, there was no response at all.

Even if they had replied stating that KYC was required due to my previous two attempts being flagged as fraud, I would have fully cooperated. But none of that happened.

I like how you re-iterated the same thing I wrote. Thanks, very helpful.
Seems like your LLM model got stuck on something.

Pretty much every purchase on L.E.T. is a gamble. Some are more likely to pay off than others, but at this point, you're just wasting your time. If you just wanted to share your experience with GorillaServers, you've done that. You were successful in people hearing you. You can move on now.

Using LET as a scare tactic never gets old

What would be my motive for intimidation? To have the service restored? To seek additional compensation? Neither—I have no need for either.

This is simply about sharing this unpleasant experience.

You got flagged, it happens. But instead of providing the correct documentation, you changed your contact information and made a new order.

You have a new UK company and you're from China. Unfortunately, both factors carry a bad reputation when it comes to scams and abuse.

And you demanded BYOIP without pre-approval.

    GorillaServers’ terms clearly state:

Can I bring my own IPs?
BYOIP requires pre-approval. Contact sales for more information.

    Source: https://www.gorillaservers.com/dedicated-servers/

And you even tried to threaten their support team to get the service.

    That is four red flags.

Just move on and read the terms, be polite and patient, and do things the right way next time instead of blaming the provider.

And be prepared that not everyone will choose to do business with you.

I fully read their TOS before making the purchase and noticed that clause, so when they said they needed to consult with their sales team, I didn’t find it surprising. However, aside from my follow-ups, I received no response at all. Even if they had asked me to complete KYC, I would have cooperated immediately.
I wasn’t trying to break their rules—how could I possibly break their rules?

You’re right, not everyone is obligated to do business with me. So, as I said, I’m simply sharing this unpleasant experience and listening to their lies and unreasonable accusations.

dunno, but I have superb experience with Gorilla servers. I have multiple servers with them - support is fast, the price is unbeatable and network is good.

    I can speak Chinese.

Actually, this matter happened because you lacked experience. If you had experience, you wouldn’t register an account using a UK company’s information, then log in through a VPN, and then pay with a Chinese credit card. In this situation, any hosting provider would initiate a review. if a stolen credit card is used, not only will the credit card company reverse the payment, but the hosting provider may also face fines from the payment processor. If it happens repeatedly, they may even lose their merchant account. So anti-fraud checks are very important.

Then, you were very anxious and kept urging them to announce your IP quickly, which made the situation even more suspicious and likely annoyed their staff. Later, you even threatened to expose them on LET, which made them dislike you even more. So, because your actions triggered a fraud review and the review wasn’t completed yet, you kept sending emails and your tone wasn’t good, making them unhappy, and they chose not to do business with you.

You certainly have the right to urge them, and they also have the right to be unhappy and suspicious. No one is necessarily right or wrong—if the two sides can’t reach an agreement, then just don’t do business. It’s that simple.

The main point of my complaint is not that I want to be their customer, but rather their attitude in handling such matters.

That's right—I mentioned in the support ticket that if the subnet couldn't be configured promptly, I requested a refund. However, if they had simply replied, "We have processed the refund," I would have gladly accepted it. There was no need for them to add, "Please do not order our services again."

Unfortunately your attitude is the issue, no one else’s.
