You’ve seen them everywhere. Instagram gurus posing next to rented Lamborghinis. YouTube ads promising financial freedom in 90 days. TikTok traders flashing screenshots of massive gains. They all have one thing in common: they want to sell you a course.

And here’s the uncomfortable truth: most of these course creators make more money selling you the dream than they ever made actually trading.

Let me explain.

The Math Doesn’t Add Up

Think about it for a second. If someone discovered a reliable way to make $10,000 a month trading, why would they spend their time creating PowerPoint slides and recording videos? Why would they deal with customer complaints and refund requests?

The answer is simple: because selling courses is more profitable and way less risky than trading.

A trading course can sell for anywhere from $500 to $5,000. Some “premium” programs cost even more. If a guru sells just 100 courses at $1,000 each, that’s $100,000. No market risk. No emotional stress. No losing trades. Just pure profit.
