@skorous But then they would not allocate and route a /30 to me, they would just make me part of a /30. That's like saying you get a free Diesel emergency generator with every order, just because you are connected to the electrical network.
it does contain 2 usable addresses - and they use one of them... you get one, the other is them, and is the gateway off the subnet ...
