On this day one year ago I started hiking the approach trail to Springer Mountain in Georgia where I would begin my hike all the way to Maine!
If it seems like I'm not around as much anymore, you can thank the trail for that. Although I'm not still thru-hiking now, it only took this one experience to completely change my outlook on life in a more fluid and nomadic way.

Anyway this comic is based on an experience I had when my host mom told me about the strange mountain we could see from the house and how it was known for extraterrestrial activity and then the first time I saw the toilet in the house and how it blew my mind. Never seeing a toilet with buttons really made it feel like alien technology 🤯👽
