Soyjak.party
Soyjak.party is an English-language imageboard centered around creating, posting and sharing Soyjaks. Formed in September 2020 largely by users from 4chan's banned /qa/ board, the imageboard has been the major producer of Soyjak images online since its creation,[citation needed] also spawning and popularizing other memes. It is A far right forum similar to 4chan, with a significant amount of the jokes on the forum being dedicated to the suicide rate of trans people. It has been known to raid this wiki.
History
[edit | edit source]Soot’s Reign and the Start of the Sharty
On September 19th, 2020, 4chan user Soot launched soyjak.party (also redirected to from basedjak.party), a joke imageboard that invited users to post Soyjak images in every thread. On September 2020, Soot announced the launch in /qa/, originally the "Questions and Answers" 4chan board at that time hijacked and centered around posting Soyjaks (announcement post shown below).
On September 21st, Soot wrote in a blog post that he launched the board "as a meme."
I registered the domain on a whim, and installed vichan just as quick. It was just a simple joke. I was not expecting to get this many users, ever. I don’t even have an alias to go by. No, this is not some honeypot or whatever, it was just originally made as a meme where you can spam soyjaks to your heart’s content.
On March 29th, 2021, Soot launched Soyjak Wiki, a community-driven encyclopedia dedicated to Soyjaks and the so-called "soy community."
On August 23rd, 2021, SoyBooru (formerly OnionsBooru) was launched with the purpose of hosting a user-submitted archive of Soyjak images.
Kuz’s Reign
In July 2022, the website was purchased from Soot by Yuri "Kuz" Kuznetsov, the admin of the site from July 16th, 2022 to May 17th, 2023 and again from July 12th to July 18th the same year.
As it turned out, Kuz attempted to identify as a fake person during his ownership tenure. He and his associates had larped into existence the intricate persona of a 35-year-old Russian-Cypriot named Yuri Mikhailovich Kuznetsov, a purported media personality and radio host who is famous in Russia, and he would often use images of a man named Eduardo Foltz to represent himself.
Aside from his proven association with CP spammers, Kuz has also faced a myriad of less substantiated accusations; Doll (his successor) has stated that he banned Kuz's IP for rule 1 (Do not post illegal content) about 80 times.
On the 17th of April 2023, it was announced that Kuz had left for an unknown period of time and Doll, the site's manager, being instated as temporary admin.
On July 12th, 2023 Doll surprisingly stepped down as Administrator, with Kuz once again taking over the Sharty alongside Max. Though this administrative tenure didn't last long, as it was revealed that Kuz had transferred ownership of the party to Max as part of the dissolution of the Kolyma Network, who was now planning to sell it to the highest bidder. Furthermore Kuz was behaving more and more erratically, publicly banning Soylita (A whole new can of worms I won’t mention) posters, announcing that Soylita is now banned and posting schizophrenic babble such as "This site is filled with disgusting terrible pedophiles who accuse other people to cover their crimes”, “KIKES LIE ABOUT ME so about many people lied about me and take everything i have.". In order to keep the site safe Max disabled Kuz's administrator account.
The auction ended on July 19th with Doll as the winner. A farewell note was posted on kolyma.net, stating that Kuz will retire from all public duties after some final well-wishes and goodbyes. Kuz hosted a final Q&A on the Sharty before leaving for good.
Doll’s Reign
Doll is an administrator of the Soyjak Wiki and formerly an administrator, and manager before that, of soyjak.party from 18-19th July 2023 to June 2024. He used to go by "CHUD ## Manager" before the pseudonym "Doll" was revealed in by Kuz in a Q&A thread. Doll has confirmed himself to be Raikokubishi, the administrator of the Soycraft server. Doll is a self-proclaimed “sootist". Doll has had Q&A's running on /q/ with over 10,000 replies, and most information relating to him was sourced from those threads.
During his third term in August, Doll found himself embroiled in one of the largest controversies the sharty had seen; the Soypocalypse, eventually culminating in the sharty's temporary closure on August 22nd 2023. Fortunately, he would restore the site days later, briefly continuing his tenure alongside Angeleno and Froot under the Soyumvirate.
He would eventually resign and sell the site on August 31st 2023, with Froot taking his place as the owner. If you include his tenure as a manager/admin under Kuz, Doll has been the second longest running admin in the party's history, only behind Soot.
After a few weeks of "retirement" and hinting that he might come back, after Angeleno's retirement it was announced that DOLL would be returning as the main admin of the site on Christmas Eve of 2023 by Froot. He was later announced to be running the new Dailyjak Telegram on October 20th, 2023.
On June 20, 2024, Froot decided to completely exile Doll, meaning he now has no control over any of the sites (besides Soyjak.blog, which is one of the tamer Soysphere sites)
The Soyumvirate
Doll would return to reopen the sharty as soyjaks.party on August 22nd 2023, with the revelation that he had found a buyer for the site, Froot, who would eventually come to take the reigns of leadership. They, along with soyjak.wiki admin by the name of Angeleno, formed the Soyumvirate. Nothing lasts forever though, and after a 3 day QNA session on /q/, DOLL officially resigned for the final time as administrator.
Froot’s Reign (incumbent)
Froot (born 2001) an Italian administrator who has been serving as the owner and co-administrator of Soyjak.party since August 22nd, 2023. Numerous co-administrators have also served alongside his ownership tenure, with the current administrators forming the partly-anonymous Janny Cabal. Along with Soyjak.party, Froot has also owned Soyjak Wiki (User:Froot) and the SoyBooru August 2023.
Froot is the fourth owner of Soyjak.party, succeeding Doll after the disastrous Soypocalypse. When it comes to administrators, he is the third Gapejak admin in Soyjak.party's history, as well the first Italian admin and the first admin who is confirmed to live in Europe. Froot's approval ratings have varied wildly throughout his reign. He has been criticized for mass ban waves that broke protocol, suppressing criticism, and for being behind massive psy-ops against the soyteen (a user of the soyjak.party’s) population. He had also been praised for his charisma and personality, as well as for being “better than Kuz.”
According to Froot himself, he first became involved with Soyjak.party somewhere around July of 2023. He would later take a central role in Soyjak.party's leadership during the Soypocalypse and subsequent temporary closure of the site, where he offered to purchase the site altogether from Doll. After buying the site for an unknown amount, he became a member of the Soyumvirate along with Angeleno and Doll. His entrance into power was received positively by soyteens, and many were hopeful that this would be the start of something gemmy. Of course, thoughever, he quickly became extremely controversial with the beginning of the 50 Board Plan (a plan for only 50 boards to be included) and subsequent Great Purge (Operation Unthinkable) where many were banned for posting on the boards /dawla/ and /mlp/, regardless of context. This caused many soyteens to turn against him, with some even claiming he's Admin 6 (Also known as the Anti-Soot or the Hexadmin) whom is a prophecised amongst the Soy community being seen as a means to an end for the site whom will bring great destruction and ultimately lead to it’s downfall, the complete opposite of Admin Ϫ.
Froot continued to rule as Angeleno stepped down as admin, and as Doll kept stepping down and coming back as an admin. In January 2024, militant Anti-Frootists created a new splinter, the Shemmy, in protest of "Froot's faggotry". Froot became radio silent around March 2024, around the time Root transitioned from manager to admin. Froot returned with a few comeback threads in May 2024 during NuAdmin's rule (NuAdmin was Root's alt by the way). Froot eventually played a part in NuAdmin's supposed ousting and Root's "official" return.
Froot has continued to act as the site owner through Root's departure and the installation of the present Janny Cabal. He has also had a major role in the development of Five Nights at Cobson's (a fan game related to the Soy Community featuring a soyjak variant known as Cobson)
The Soyvil Wars
Soyvil War 1
The First Soyvil War on was a conflict lasting from April 29 to May 16, 2021. It started over disagreements about different soyjak variants, particularly deformed soyjaks. Two main factions, the Norwegians and the Swedes, engaged in heated debates and trolling. The war ended with a peace agreement, and while deformed soyjaks lost popularity, they eventually led to the rise of colorjaks. Swedejaks, meanwhile, became a popular mascot on the site.
Soyvil War 2
[edit | edit source]The Second Soyvil War, also known as the Kuz Crisis, was a conflict that took place on Soyjak.party from February 21, 2022, to July 17, 2022. This war was primarily between the Soot loyalists and Kuz loyalists.
The conflict began when a rogue moderator deleted multiple threads and banned some users, leading to a series of retaliatory actions from both sides. Kuz declared war and created a new site called soyak.party, while Soot leaked Kuz's emails and rallied his supporters. The war involved various propaganda campaigns, spam attacks, and even minor rebel groups attempting to regain control.
Ultimately, Kuz emerged victorious, taking over the site and leading to the formation of various rebel groups known as Dark Sootists.
Soyvil War 3
[edit | edit source]The Third Soyvil War, also known as the Ongezellig War, was a major conflict on Soyjak.party that took place in two phases: February 27, 2023 - May 6, 2023, and June 14, 2023 - August 14, 2023. The war was fought between Pro-'Zellig Chuds (supporters of Ongezellig) and Anti-'Zellig Chuds (opponents of Ongezellig), with Kuzists supporting the Pro-'Zellig side and Sootists supporting the Anti-'Zellig side.
The conflict was sparked by disagreements over whether Ongezellig, a Dutch animated series, should be celebrated as part of the site's culture or banned due to its controversial nature. The war involved numerous catalog wipes, propaganda campaigns, and a divide within the Soy community.
Ultimately, the war ended in a stalemate, with Ongezellig being temporarily banned from /soy/ but later unbanned while losing its original popularity. The conflict left a lasting impact on the community and its culture.
Soyvil War 4
[edit | edit source]The Fourth Soyvil War, also known as the Froot War, was a prolonged and multifaceted conflict on Soyjak.party and across the Soy Community from September 3, 2023, to March 17, 2024, with a brief resurgence from June 27, 2024, to July 7, 2024. The war was fought between the ruling Froot administration and their supporters (known as Frootists) versus several disconnected groups of anti-Frootists. The conflict involved various factions, including Anti-Froot soyteens, jakparty.soy (Also shut down in 2024, archived by moderator Lute) users, Kolyma loyalists/Dark Kuzists, Choodists, and various splinters of the party such as the shemmy (Now shut down as of 30th January 2024) The war saw numerous propaganda campaigns, raids, and catalog wipes, with significant events like the Frog War (a conflict between soyteens and frogs) and the Great Soysuit. The conflict gradually ended with the Froot administration emerging victorious.
Soyvil War 5
[edit | edit source]A hypothetical future conflict that will annihilate the entire soisphere, kill every soyjak poster and delete every single soy edit off the internet.
(Quick note: Feel free to change and edit this for better reader understanding of the context, I am a soyteen and I come from the sharty. Remove this once editing or if you’re a janny, thanks.)
Since the moment of its creation, soyjak.party has repeatedly been a target of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) attacks.
