A man and a woman, believed to be Chinese, were caught on camera defecating on the stone walls of Gyeongbokgung (景福宮) — a former royal palace and a major tourist attraction — in Seoul on Nov 10. Footage showed the man crouching in the bushes while holding toilet paper, with a woman nearby pulling down her white pants to relieve herself. After a few moments, the woman stood up and walked away, leaving visible stains on her pants. Shortly after, the man emerged from the bushes. The incident occurred at the stone wall near Sinmu Gate, the northern gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was built in 1935 and registered as Historic Site No. 117. The man was reportedly fined 50,000 Korean won. According to the Minor Offenses Punishment Act, urinating or defecating in public places such as streets or parks can result in a fine of up to 100,000 Korean won. chosun.com/english/nation m.koreaherald.com/article/106145 yna.co.kr/amp/view/AKR20 youtu.be/7HDlFaTjm6M?si
