I would have been perfectly content to just ignore him and keep all my complaints in private as I believe things like this should be handled, but unfortunately he started rapidly harassing artists I know and work with this year so I felt I had to take direct action to inform people and oust him.
I've gone back and forth for months on whether I should make and post something like this but after much consideration and encouragement from my irl and online friends I decided that yes enough is enough this needs to get called the fuck out because it is not okay at all.
Just a headsup, I am going to be posting something quite serious soon I've debated making a post about. I'm going to be slowing down activity on my account here unrelated to this matter until I know for sure it has been fully dealt with.
Apologies and please bear with me but I've needed to do this.

Heads up for folx playing Arc Raiders: Embark has openly stated (in an interview with GamesRadar+), that the game uses the same AI voice tech as The Finals, and the CEO has talked about using AI to generate 3D models from YouTube rips.
If you're anti-AI you should not be playing Arc Raiders!
Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

I have not played Ark Raiders since beta months ago but it's SO refreshing to see a mainstream game review in which the ethics of the game's creation actually effects not only the reviewer,s opinion of the game, but the score itself as well. Putting your money where your mouth is!
