1. Hi, I really love DR3. When will Dark Rising 3 be finished?

DARK RISING 3 will NO LONGER be a fangame but will be made as a ROM HACK. Progress will begin after ALL CHAPTERS of REBIRTH are out. DR3 will NOT be chapters, it will be a full (ROM) game created by myself.

3. Is World's Collide not a part of the canon series?

WORLD’S COLLIDE Digimon events is NOT Canon but the Dark Rising characters/events are. The reason WHY is because of CREATIVE DIFFERENCES with a past member and without getting into the whole details (you can see that on Twitter) they took liberty into their own hands. So you can play DR1, DR2, and ORDER DESTROYED WITHOUT playing WORLDS COLLIDE. The only reason to play is if you want to see the canon characters with DIGIMON.

5. Should I play Kaizo or the original DR?

The answer is up to you. Kaizo was essentially created to “fix” certain bugs in DR and add “extra storyline/character development”. I will let you know that the wild list is completely different than DARKRISING.

6. Should I play the entire series in order to play Rebirth and Dark Rising 3?

Not really. I would suggest watching older videos of YouTubers play Dark Rising 1 and 2 (i.e. like Patterz, HeroVoltsy,Fitzhogan11, MsExile, etc) and then play ORDER DESTROYED yourself as that is a more "update" looking game than previous games. Rebirth is a sequel to Order Destroyed and a prequel to 3.

• - (As of 2025) How long are the Rebirth Chapters?                                                                   You can expect Chapter 1 and 2 to roughly be 2.5 - 4 hours (and that's if you do all the side quests/talking to everyone etc)

7. There’s a bug/bad egg/ I can’t find where to go/ or someone won’t let me past?

I can no longer access the old DR games. That being said, please ask your fellow community as they have went through and experienced these things. My only advice:

• - try not to walk walls, YOU WILL miss something important in any of the games since the dialogue doesn’t ACTIVATE when you’re player appears on the screen (things like this will be fixed)
• - Got a bad egg? Or you can’t seem to leave a location? Please SAVE SAVE SAVE INSIDE of a respective house or a location BEFORE you get to a current point in the game. It’ll save you the stress of starting ALL THE WAY OVER

8. Will Dark Rising 1 and Dark Rising 2 get a remake (in updated graphics)?
There will not be a remake of Dark Rising 1 or 2 from me. However, [if any brave soul wishes to attempt it] please message me on any of my socials for permission.​
