Personally, I'm less interested on what a hybrid child would look like and more interested in the traits they would have (like would heterosis occur and create a strong child o algo) and how hybridization would even happen, it does actually occur, but that's mostly interspecific or (rarer) intergeneric or (even rarer) interfamilial. If wifey is from a different order or especially a different class, there would be some real hurdles regarding hybridization. 

Also what would a cladogram even look like fur anthros? Would they be some sort of sister taxa with humans resulting from some divergence from a common ancestor (I don't like this bc that basically makes them something akin to monkeys but more human, but I also can't think of anything else that would make sense), or would it be something else?

Would different species of anthro have different numbers of chromosomes resulting in trouble making haploid pairs? Would hybrid offspring be sterile to some degree?

or maybe I'm being autistic when I should just be enjoying anthros

My personal head canon fur interspecies breeding in an anthro universe is that in almost all cases, the offspring will be the same species as the mother. So theoretically two completely different anthro species can still breed, if a male fox and female rabbit have kids, all of their kids will be rabbits. They can still inherit traits from the father, like eye color, height, and possibly even behavior, but the species is almost always just going to be the mothers. I say almost since maybe there can be a few instances where a child can be mixed species, like if the parents are of a similar enough species like a tiger and a lion or something, but that could be like very rare or something. 
And to balance things out the mother and children inherit the fathers last name, to try to keep it somewhat equal

I like the real life approach where close enough ones can reproduce but besides fur that either incompatible or producing non viable hybrid offspring.

If I were to ever make an anthro universe I would make it so they're all technically the same species (humanoids) and each species (as we perceive them, eg. wolves, foxes, tigers, cats, etc.) is merely a race.

Hybrids are already an exception to the rule and are therefure inherently defective.
