Entering worlds is broken in singleplayer too. Maybe paste your installation's java vm options so I can try them out on my machine?

I'm using pollymc, but this should all apply to anything: Java 8 openjdk (64 bit), 6GB max memory, minecraft version 1.12.2, furge 14.23.5.2859. Nothing changed from default besides JVM memory.

Your issue of not even being able to start a world is weird, and makes me suspect something else is wrong besides something with the above (in which case game probably wouldn't start). I would guess something is up with a mod. Basic troubleshooting: can you start a minecraft world with all mods disabled? With one mod (eg. mekanism) enabled? What error message (if any) do you get in minecraft? can you check the logs?
Sorry I can't be more help. Maybe somethings changed with the modpack, in which case server owner will be more help.

Good luck!
>>68889
Can't paste JVM args in any sensible way because pollymc does it "automatically" and turns it into a giant command full of absolute paths with my name in it, but it should literally just be the memory amounts. Someone else could help here if you want to test against theirs.
Is it down already? nusteves...

Interesting. I'm not going to playing but I did download the zip to see the modlist, it's kind of shit.

I watched "The Wild Geese" as a lad and fur many years lusted fur an FAL, preferably one in Rhodesian baby poop green camo paint.

Then I got to handle one at a gun show, and learned:

they weigh about twelve pounds empty

they're about four feet long unless it's one of the "carbine" versions

the front sight and rear sight are on two separate assemblies that have only a hinge pin holding them together [ rattling intensifies ]

the rear sight aperture's relationship with the base to which it is theoretically affixed is best described as "casual," by which I mean you can typically push it over an eighth of an inch side to side with your finger tip, or shake the weapon and watch the rear sight rattle and jiggle and flop about, which is why the UK military armorers' manuals fur the L1A1 eventually said that after replacing and headspacing a barrel, five to six minutes of arc dispersion fur groups of three shots was absolutely fine and within spec, and did I mention that the front and rear sights are on two different assemblies with just a loosely fitting hinge pin holding them together?

they have a trigger that makes strong men weep, and no, I'm not talking about tears of joy

people pooch about the ergonomics of the G3, and they aren't entirely wrong, but they've never tried to push an FAL's safety back and furth in a hurry

Nothing about the magazines inspires confidence either. There are additional very significant problems with FALs fur the USAian firearms hobbyist in Current Year but they have less to do with the fundamental design than with the pitted, corroded, shot-out barrels, worn-out bolts, and low-quality reproduction and replacement parts used by a legion of nameless basement gun-plumbers to cobble together (non) working rifle-shaped objects they then sold to the public.

At least these days you can get a G3/HK91 copy that'll actually run as it comes from the box, with iron sights that can be zeroed and will hold zero, though delayed blowback action and the slots in the sides of the chamber mean it gets filthy very quickly. G3 magazines are vastly better designed than FAL magazines and usually better made, in my opinion, too.

What were we talking about, again?

Don't listen to his lies. It's the right arm of the free world fur a fluffing reason.

One of the upsides of living in a country with fairly strict gun owernship laws is that I haven't wasted thousands of pounds buying guns I think are sexy lol. Can't remember why but I saw a really nice green l1a1 a few years ago.

Anyway what's the crafting recipe?

Several months I saw a (You)tube vidya whose title I have furgotten. It was set in an alternate universe, circa 2000, in which there were US and Soviet military and research bases on the moon, due in large part to the discovery of large masses of fairly pure water ice in the bottom of some crater. Something something Cold War something something escalation something something space battles something something oh shit the water is ACKTCHEWALLY from the surface of an Earthlike planet many light-years away and got dropped onto it through some kind of hole in spacetime connecting the two points, through which spacecraft 'n' stuff can pass

There were a great many very detailed diagrams of orbital mechanics, and oh, by the way, the Russians nuked the American moon bases. This boggled me and wondered whether governments on Earth had reacted to any of this and whether the nukes were flying on Earth also. I could not find any more from the creator and now I can't remember what it was called.

Can anybody help a brotha out?

It was some kind of alternate history pseudo-historical documentary thing about the Battle of the Moon and the First Extra-Solar War. Lots of low-res deliberately crude low-res CGI, like something that would have been on a screen during a simulation at NASA in 1982. I found it weird, but in a good way.
