In airtight houses, the difference in atmospheric pressure between indoors and outdoors allows air to flow back into the house through the drain hose,
causing a popping sound to be generated in the drainage area.
Otomechan is a backflow prevention valve allowing smooth drainage while preventing the popping noise.
It also prevents insects from entering the house, as well as air from outside.

Features:
Check valve for exclusive use with DHQ model high quality drain hoses.
Transparent so you can see what’s happening inside the valve.
Because it’s weather-resistant, there is no need to protect the product with tape. It can be installed so that the inside can be seen.

コポコポ音が消えます
エアコンを交換してすぐに負圧の関係でかなりのコポコポ音が鳴るようになってしまい（エアコン停止後も鳴り続ける）、しばらくはドレンホースを水を入れたペットボトルに入れて凌いでましたが ホース等にも良くないため本製品を蓋、テーブともに購入。 取付は簡単で取付た瞬間にコポコポ音が消えました。値段も安いしこれは必須です！

    タイトルの通り、エアコンから鳴るポコポコ音が消滅しました。
    取り付けも簡単で、とてもいい商品ですね。
    エアコンの標準装備品にしてもらいたいくらいです。

    ちなみに我が家でポコポコ音が鳴り始めた原因は、24時間換気のための吸気口のフィルターが目詰まりしていたからでした。
    本製品を使うとポコポコ音はなくなります。
    ですが、そもそもポコポコ音が急に鳴り始めた場合、その原因はエアコン以外の何かにある可能性が高いと思うので、原因調査が望ましいと思います。

    機能的には問題ありません。ただ、防虫キャップもそうですが定期的なメンテが必要です。使用場所によって差はありますが汚れがたまり逆止弁が閉まらなくなるため、最低でも毎年外してクリーニングすることをお勧めします。その辺の説明がきちんとされているとさらに良いかと思います。
