Nintendo's official stores are bases for disseminating Nintendo information in Japan, with the aim of allowing customers to enjoy events and gaming experiences in addition to selling game consoles, software, peripherals, and character goods.
The first store, Nintendo TOKYO, will open inside Shibuya PARCO in November 2019, followed by Nintendo OSAKA inside Daimaru Umeda in November 2022 and Nintendo KYOTO inside Kyoto Takashimaya SC [T8] in October 2023. The newly announced opening of Nintendo FUKUOKA will be the fourth store in Japan.

Nintendo's official store, Nintendo TOKYO, opened as a pop-up store at Fukuoka Parco in June 2021, and at AMU Plaza Hakata, AMU Plaza Kumamoto in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and AMU Plaza Kagoshima Main Building in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture from September to October 2022.The opening of Nintendo FUKUOKA is truly long-awaited news for Nintendo fans in Kyushu.

"Pokemon Center Fukuoka" at AMU Plaza Hakata is moving to Hakata Marui!
We have two more Nintendo-related pieces of news to share with you:
Pokémon Center Fukuoka, which previously operated at AMU Plaza Hakata, will be relocating and reopening on the second floor of Hakata Marui on Friday, June 27th.
The new, larger and more powerful store will feature an event space, card stations and other experiences beyond just shopping.
At the entrance, Pikachu and the legendary Pokémon Latias and Latios will be riding the wind to welcome everyone.

The event space in the center of the store will host greetings and seasonal events on a regular basis.

Furthermore, a Pokémon Card Station has also opened at the Pokémon Center Fukuoka. It is a space where you can learn and play the Pokémon Card Game, and various events are planned to be held there in the future.
