It has lawyers, a wedding reception hijacking, a frightened deer, and some expired mayo cake.

    We are a big Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans. So after we had read all the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books available on our Libby app, my son requested to get the Partypooper as soon as it came out. I preordered the audiobook version, and we listened to it right after it appeared in my Audible library. Partypooper is about a make-up party for the main character (Greg)'s birthday. Everything went to chaos in every weird way possible. Although this book has more Greg's stream of consciousness than interactions with other characters, it's still laugh-out-loud funny. Though you can read this book as a standalone, I recommend reading the previous books to understand the relationship dynamics between the characters.
