I'm watching on a Google Slate so I don't know if it counts as an app because I'm accessing the site through Chrome. My Watch History is not paused. It just one day stopped saving my place in longer videos. It might do that to anything under 20min but I normally don't pause anything less than 30min.
It's really freaking annoying and I don't usually watch Critical Role in one sitting. It's going to be a real bitch to keep trying to find my place.

I just bought the LF3Pro 280 for my 7600X and it is hot as hell. During cinebench R23 (pump and fans on 100%) it goes up to 92°C. During gaming ~75°C, idle ~45°C (both of these are on lower pump and fan speed ofc but still…). I have tried and checked everything. No, there is no protective plastic on the cold plate. I tried to re-mount and re-paste (mx-6) the cold plate 3 times, no improvement (yes, I was tightening the bolts symmertically). Checked the correct usage of the mounting kit, all the bolts are tightened properly. Runned benchmarks with and without front panel, no improvement… (Radiator is mounted on the front panel, tubes are at the bottom, 2 fans are in push config, the top of the radiator is much higher than the cpu)
Any tipps&help is welcomed!

Yes, cpu running stock speeds, but PBO is enabled. Stresstest power draw 115-120W. Room temperature ~23°C I played nowadays mainly Apex legends, but for a CPU&cooler combo like this, I think its high. During stresstest CPU reached 92°C after 5sec…
Unfortunetly its a closed AIO loop, I cannot measure more than what HWinfo64 shows. Yes, I did tried to roll the PC in the air while it was running (2 times), in a way that the stucked air bubles gets out from the water block, no improvement. There is only one possible way to mount the water block.
I have a HP Victus laptop with an Intel i5 12450H and a RTX 3050. I was playing Hollow Knight on the lowest settings when I noticed my CPU was spiking at 70% usage and 92° C, while my GPU was sitting at 20% at 70° C. I plan on adding new thermal paste to the CPU later.
I think my GPU is slacking off. Whenever I open HW Info or Cinebench, my GPU shows up at Intel integrated graphics, not the 3050. I’ve updated the drivers, and selected the high performance NVIDIA driver in the NVIDIA control panel for the GPU. I’m not exactly sure what’s happening. I’ve done a lot with desktops but don’t know much about laptops and fixing integrated graphics issues. Maybe it’s a super obvious fix and I’m missing it… Anyone got any suggestions?
I dont know how to troubleshoot it. I have everything at 100% and still its quiet as balls. I use steelseries gg and my mic is from an arctis nova 1 or something

Очень сильно нагревается северный мост, а также конденсатор и силовой индуктор рядом с ним, конденсатор так нагревается что при проверке напряжение он чуть ли не припоял измеритель. Не знаю что делать перепробовал все и почистить от пыли и поменять проц с ОЗУ.
Got a job to troubleshoot a 2nd floor office room. Been there once already. Thought the issue was caused by a ceiling fan motor tripping the circuit. Every time I sent power to it the breaker tripped. Removed it and the circuit held even under a heavy load. But the next day it trips. Give me some ideas of what to look into. Here's the details 15 amp circuit AF SQ D (replaced once) 2 ceiling fans (checked) 12 outlets (all checked) 2 recessed cans (checked junctions) 2 keyless lights Fans have speed controls installed in switch boxes (bypassed and checked) Circuit feeds 3 outlets in an attic space with no air conditioning.

I bought a drawing tablet for playing osu/fps games. Its worked fine on osu but whenever I try and fps game or really and first person game it spins me around extremely fast and forces me to look down. I've tried to re-install the tablets drivers as well as getting new drivers but nothings is working. PLS HELP MEE
When I'm running installed games, not from steam or epic. I get this error message "DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument." when my system is clearly DirectX 12 supported in dxdiag.

my internet speed was literally 50mb/s and more when i got it but now its barely 2mb/s
to be EXACT it was first 50mb/s then it got down to regularly 10mb/s, i don't need more than that or at least just that on the daily basis so i never complained even if it was a major drop. it was until these days that it occurred to me, video stop abruptly at even 480p, games getting 4800-10000ms of delay. and downloading is like 20kb/s sometimes and times its 200-400kb/s(i ran bloatware test and i got an F btw) right now i am getting 1-1.6mb/s of speed which is just insanely slow. on phone i do get a bit more but not that far off.
and this has been going for quite sometime i even debloated my win11.

This is something that's been frustrating me for over a year now: I have a Samsung TV to which I want to connect my windows 11 PC via its RTX 4070 Ti graphics card. I bought a good, expensive cable to do that from my desk room to the adjacent living room. This works very rarely, seemingly for no reason.
The HDMI is 15 metres, active fiberglass and works on my partner's Apple devices without any issue.

The HDMI slot on my PC works fine, as shorter passive HDMI cables work just fine.
When I try to boot my PC with just the HDMI cable connected to either the TV or an older monitor, the HDMI handshake seems to happen as it either works sometimes in the case of the old monitor, or gives a black screen (TV and old monitor)
I turn on Input Signal Plus and set the HDMI input to PC on my Samsung TV
When I connect it to the TV, it typically says "check device power". Very rarely, it works flawlessly and yesterday, I managed to connect it successfully several times in a row before it stopped working again. Settings on my PC or TV have not changed.
All drivers and firmware are up to date.
If someone could help me make any sense of this, I'd be extremely grateful.
My desktop CPU core i7 4th generation and GPU AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT is all of a sudden shuts down while i am playing Elden Ring(DLC). Had no issues before today.

Environment: Windows 11, i7, Rtx 3060, Model MPNXB27280EQ.
Event: Total System Unresponsive Freeze occurs at seemingly unpredictable times whilst a game is running. Game can be running only in the background, never in focus. All commands unresponsive. Usb power lost. Caps Lock and Num Lock unable to toggle feeback LED.
Fn + Spacebar successfully cycles keyboard backlight. Freeze occurs while plugged into manufacturer power adapter or while on battery. While frozen, plugging and unplugging AC power, system charging light does respond. Game resource demand doesn't seem relevant, since I reproduced the freeze on a wide spectrum of gaming loads. Audio snippet loops producing constant sound from speakers, rarely background youtube music will continue to play through the current song. Laptop left in Freeze state for more than 10 minutes, dump files never created. Must be forced shut down via power button hold for 5-10 seconds.
Trouble Shooting: DDU Safe Mode no Networking Nvidia Driver from latest version, First to ver566.36 (Game Ready), Then to 537.58. Utilized GPU-z to monitor temperatures while gaming. Freeze Still produced on sub 75C conditions. Ran sfc /scannow, as well DISM restore. Utilized Lenovo Vantage Hardware scan, all results passed. Used OCCT to run a combined test of all available tests. Bringing System to heaviest resource load, Temperatures to high 80s on CPU and GPU. Could not replicate the freeze. Test Ran for 1 hour. FurMark also Ran for 1 hour.
Interesting Development now, Laptop booted up and device manager cannot not find Nvidia Graphics card. Upon restart graphics card was found. From here on I’ll add new discoveries to the post paired with EDIT headings

So when I try and play certain multiplayer games like CS2, Skate, Roblox, etc, my ethernet and wifi network adapters (Intel(R) Ethernet Controller I225-V and RZ608 Wi-Fi 80MHz) disable themselves after connecting to multiplayer servers, when I try and reenable them through windows network troubleshoot, device manager, or through view network connections they don't turn back on and they are stuck on disabled. I have tried reinstalling new adapters and chipsets through my motherboards page (ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II), updating my graphics drivers, turning off network and adapter settings relating to power saving, turning off settings relating to virtual machines, changing BIOS settings relating to PCIE power saving, and a whole lot more. The only way to resolve this issue if for me to restart my pc, it will try and restart for around 5 minutes before blue screenings with DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, it will restart and then my adapters will turn back on, this issue does not affect ALL multiplayer games though, games like Minecraft and Osu! work just fine aswell as discord and other things like that, this issue isnt linked to any one anticheat or game platform, I have tried games on the xbox shop, steam, and through the epic games launcher and they all don't work. Habe seit einigen Tagen folgendes Problem. Mein Monitor: AGON-AOC_AG273QS4R4 bleibt plötzlich schwarz sobald eine Anwendung in Fullscreen Modus geht. Es passiert mittlerweile auch beim Booten des Computers. Workaround für Games (zumnindest über Steam) sind diese Startup-Optionen: "-screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 -screen-fullscreen 0 -windowed" - somit startet das Game windowed und alles ist gut. Um den Monitor überhaupt in Gang zu bringen habe ich folgende Schritte entdeckt: 1. Monitor über den Button (mitte unten) am Bildschrim ausschalten. 2. Zwei Kabel ziehen (netzstecker und display port) 3. ca. 3min. warten... 4. Netstecker wieder anstecken. 5. Monitor einschalten. -wenn das logo erscheint dann ist es gut, wenn nicht Vorgang wiederholen. (länger warten) vermutlich bis irgendwelche Kondensatoren sich entladen haben. 6. (sofern logo) Bei laufendem Computer (bei mir windows11) DisplayPort wieder anstecken.
Danach kommt bei mir immerhin ein Bild und alles scheint zu funktionieren, bis auf den Fullscreen Modus, oder wenn ich irgendwelche Einstellungen verändere und der Monitor umschalten muss. Dann wirds wieder schwarz.
Was ist da los!? So alt ist der Monitor noch gar nicht. Weiß wer was dazu? Wer kann sowas reparieren? Zahlt sich das aus?

hi guys. i need help. i hope this is the right sub for this. i have a samsung android tv. had this for almost 5 years now. it was working fine until last night. when i turned it on, the red led light under the tv just keep blinking oddly (not sure if that was supposed to do that) and the screen just kept blinking with a faint backlight. normally, it should light up faintly then keep brighting up until it shows the home screen. it was so sudden. i just normally used if a few nights ago without any problem. thanks in advance for answering.
So, I’m having several problems with my laptop and I’m not sure if they’re related. My Start Menu doesn’t open at all. The search function in File Explorer doesn’t work. It also says search indexing was turned off. File Explorer is very slow and whenever I try to unzip files it freezes. Outlook won’t start. And it might be unrelated, i use RStudio and it also freezes whenever I try to create a new project. I’ve tried restarting the computer, checking for update, sfc /scannow and DISM but nothing work. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
My ethernet on my PC is connecting for one second, then saying no connection for two seconds. It keeps repeating this and has been really consistent with the timing. I tried unplugging and plugging back in and I've restarted the computer but the issue persists. Is there anything I can do about this?

Audio devices (mic/speakers) disappearing after wake from sleep
Windows Hello Face ID delays (especially after sleep, even off-dock)
Random freezing when connecting or disconnecting from docks
Mix of Dell WD19TB/WD22TB and Lenovo Thunderbolt 4 docks
Docks fully updated with the latest firmware/drivers
New Belkin USB-C docks on order for testing
All laptops fully patched, BIOS + firmware current
Windows 11 22H2/23H2 and Teams (New Teams, MSIX)
About 70 systems affected to varying degrees
Dump logs show Realtek USB Ethernet driver (rtu53cx22x64.sys) involvement during BSODs or hangs on dock/undock.
Teams logs frequently show device enumeration and HID errors after wake.
Disabling power management on Intel Smart Sound Technology (OED) devices and Realtek USB Ethernet controllers improves stability for some users.
A few users (including myself) have no issues. I always shut down nightly (never sleep)
I'll note that I have disabled Realtek USB Ethernet and steps outlined below
Teams Logs (For one user whose audio broke for a Teams meeting, while connected with ThinkPad dock)
hidDeviceManager: Failed to find matching HID device with label: Microphone (ThinkPad Thunderbolt 4 Dock USB Audio)

Lenovo support ticket open. They recommend re-imaging individual machines, which isn’t practical

Has anyone seen similar behavior with the ThinkPad X9-14 (or same generation platform)?
Are there confirmed issues between these systems and Dell/Lenovo docks?
Is switching to Belkin or another dock brand proven to resolve this? The compatible list on Lenovo's site is all Lenovo docks, but we have issues with current Lenovo docks which makes the list suspicious to me.
Any firmware/driver combinations (Realtek NIC, SST Audio, Thunderbolt) that eliminate Teams freezes and audio dropouts?
For orgs that experienced this, what was your final resolution? New docks, driver rollbacks, registry policies, or firmware escalations via Lenovo?
This is becoming a serious reliability issue for us. Teams calls are unreliable across dozens of users, and frustration is high. Any insight, validation, or even hypotheses from others running similar hardware would be hugely appreciated.
Please also note: I know that it is not ideal to replace all org devices at once. We had a lease for the old laptops, I had started with the company with about a year left on the lease, and we needed to replace all laptops so we could ship the old ones back to end the lease. Yes, I had some time to make a better decision or conduct more thorough testing, but alas, here we are. Any kind of "you should've.." or "why did you..." is just not helpful at this point. Thanks!
Hello, I need help with my build, quite a strange problem The specifications: -Gigabyte b650 aorus X elite -ryzen 5 7600x -2x16 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz -1000W gold+ gigabyte psu
What happened:
I've been using this build for around 2 months or more, no problem at all, last night I tried to install a RGB strip, It turned off the computer, the psu, pressed the power on button, made sure all the power was gone, I've been paying attention to static energy too, I'm 100% that's no problem When I tried to turn the computer back on, I get DRAM light, at first I thought it was normal, but even after 15 minutes nothing happened
So I started troubleshooting and I tried:
switching the rams in every possible slot, each one, and both of them, every combination possible -Updated the bios with q flash plus with 5 different versions -reset the cmos -palcing the CPU back with less force on the cooler -cleaning the cpu and ram pads
tried leaving it for longer -booting without gpu
reconnecting every single cable -i even took the mobo out, placed it on it's box and rebuild again so I can make sure there's nothing shorting
How it's behaving:
At first I get the DRAM light, if I press restart within 2-3 minutes, the light goes 0,5 seconds to cpu and then back to dram, but if I press restart after about 5-6 minutes, the light gets stuck to the cpu Keep in mind the pc was working fine until I got all the power out of it
I'd like to know your opinion, maybe you had similar issues, at this point I don't think there's anything left to do, but to change the broken parts
My conclusion:
-The motherboard is faulty, I've somehow been able to do the memory training the first time, and that's why it's been working until now I guess now it doesn't recognize the ram anymore It could be the CPU as well but that's more unlikely I'd like to hear your thoughts and any advice you have Thansk

I just got a Music Frame (HW-LS60D). The first thing I did was to connect the speaker to my Sony PS-LX310BT turntable via Bluetooth. And it worked.
I turned the turntable off and finished the set up of the speaker on my smartthings app. When i tried to reconect the speaker to the turntable it no longer worked. Since then I tried to pair both again and nothing. Even reseted the speaker and nothing. I tested the speaket with my phone, it works fine and tried the turn table with another speaker and it also works fine.
I don't know if the speaker did any firmware update when it connected to the internet (was on a work call while setting it up).
Does anyone know if the turntable has any issue connecting to specific speakers?

My cpu core temp remains high in idle settings used to work great I used to get 1000+ fps in valorant but now it thermal throttles. What should I do? I have already cleaned my radiator and re applied thermal paste 2 times still no benefit. Looking for more troubleshooting avenues to explore. I've never had an HDD fail suddenly without any warning of any sort. I even checked S.M.A.R.T. status on my drives coincidentally just a week ago and everything was good. The 4TB is not working today, but was working just fine yesterday.
I have an NVMe installed for a few months, an SSD, a 1TB HDD and a 4TB HDD, on an MSI X570 A-Pro motherboard. I didn't do any recent BIOS updates in the last few months either. Yesterday, the 4TB was working just fine. Didn't restart the computer or turn it off. Went the computer today and the 4TB isn't accessible. Weird, I thought. I restarted and now Windows doesn't even recognize the 4TB drive. It's nowhere to be found in Disk Management or in BIOS.
Things I've tried: swapped power cables, swapped SATA cables and SATA ports. Swapped SATA cables and power cables. I can't hear it turn on or hear any mechanical sounds.
I'll try it on another computer when I get a chance. Is my HDD toast? Could it be my PSU failing? Anything else?
As the title says. I’ve been trying to upgrade my computers bios to turn on secure boot and it seems like my only problem is my boot drive isn’t in GPT. But not I can’t get back to windows to change it. I had secure boot on but it won’t recognize my boot drive anymore. Any help would be appreciated

The thing is that my mobo only posts with this processor with just a single BIOS Version (when they came out right the first one and no later ones, tried them all), and that would be okaay if it worked fine, but it only posts in single channel mode, when I try to put RAM in the second channel, it won't boot showing RAM LED. When I update to later BIOS versions CPU LED is on. The processor worked fine with the latest AsRock X370 BIOS. Also 3rd gen Ryzen 3500x posts fine with any BIOS ver and dual channels are active.
A hard task is set upon me, I can't handle it myself, but I'd really appreciate if anyone would lend me a hand
my hp laptop that runs windows 11 barely runs anything that isn't 20 years old. for reference, i attempted to play hollow knight on it and it chugged a lot. it can barely run 3d programs like roblox. how do i make my computer perform better overall? optimally i'd like it to run online 3d programs without chugging like that. or at least play hollow knight.

Hello, I am trying to repair a Dell Inspiron 7506 for a client. The laptop functioned fine until BitLocker showed up, claiming secure boot was off. This is where I came in, this laptop does not have secure boot but instead has TPM (was on). So, I entered the correct BitLocker code and was allowed in. I was presented with Windows repair options and tried to reboot and proceed to Windows; however, I was met with BitLocker again. This happened multiple times and so I used CMD and ran as many repair and diagnostic tools I knew of /could find, including the built-in Windows tool. Here are a few of the ones I did:
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
chkdsk C: /f
bootrec /rebuildbcd
This only told me that the internet connection and battery were not found (knew abt the battery already+the battery should not be causing BitLocker to trip). I used my USB recovery tool for more options. Eventually, I was able to make it so BitLocker only came on when messing with the BIOS. After this, I used an Ethernet to USB-C adapter and did the Windows scan now with an internet connection, and got into a loop of something along the lines of "We ran into an issue and will try again in 30 minutes". Help me out here chat, what do I do? I don't want to wipe the drive for it to work because the client says there is stuff on there. Maybe recover data onto another drive and then do a fresh install? I'm lost and have never encountered this.
I have a lava lamp I got from Spencer’s a few years ago. I love it so much! But I noticed it wouldn’t turn on so I assumed the bulb had just burned out. I took the bulb out and sure enough the bulb was spent. I bought a new bulb, made sure it was the right size/wattage/volts, and replaced the bulb. The lamp still wouldn’t turn on. Then I tested the outlet. Everything else I plug into that outlet works fine so the outlet isn’t the issue. What else could possibly be the problem? Maybe a short in the wire? Or something else? Anyone else have this issue and was able to fix it?
TLDR; Lava lamp won’t turn on. Bulb and outlet are not the issue. What else could the problem be?
My laptops screen won't turn on it only changes to different hues of black and the leds light up when it's on or charging
UPDATE - FIXED* Hi folks. Panicking because in a desperate attempt to really clean a used Cuisinart coffee maker I poured baking soda in a brew. The internet said it was fine but i believe there’s a clog in the machine— now when I brew nothing comes out. I’m 6 hours into this project. Did I absolutely ruin everything ???

So My laptop receives the net, it appears and has full lines, every other device gets wifi and is ok. But even when it appears on my laptop and has connection it says. NO INTERNET ACCESS. I think in the past maybe it happened and restarting the router from the app worked, but I don't wanna do it every time. So help me,I'm begging. Hi, I've encountered a very odd problem with my computer. When I start the computer, all the fans start and everything lights up as it should, but I don't get a picture on my computer screen and my mouse and keyboard don't light up either. I've tried moving the RAM around and taking out the CMOS battery and waiting and then putting it back in, but still no results. I really don't understand anything, that is why I am now writing here for help and if someone knows something, please help
Stubborn me, I want to see if I can fix the problem w/o wiping the Windows 10 install and starting over.
Lenevo Legion 5 Pro, model code 82JQ. Windows 10, 22H2.
I was fine until a couple of days ago when I DDU'd an NVIDIA driver and upgraded it. Though the issue was driver related. Manually rolled things back via Safe Mode & DDU to progressively until last known good driver, 576.80. I normally have O&O ShutUp 10 config'd with most everything disabled, including Windows Update, combined with wushowhide.diagcab to disable forced, old OE driver installs. In standard fashion, I re-enabled WU and did the standard updates, and Windows Store updates since I was there.
Problem hasn't gotten better. Only happens when the laptop is idle, sometimes with the screen off, sometimes on. If the screen is off, it'll be unresponsive. If it was on, it'll have rebooted itself. I've not ever had a hardware issue before with the laptop.
Windows Reliability Viewer hints at 9NZKPSTSNW4P-Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay being updated before things kicked off, but that and Event Viewer have not useful information outside of the obvious "Windows was not shut down properly". DISM & sfc execute cleanly.
What other steps can I take?
Hey so about month or two ago I went to use my laptop and when I first boot it up. The screen is all bright. Then when I hit the space bar to enter my password the screen turns black then dims the whole screen until I disconnect the power cord then the screen brightens back up.
Im wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening?
I have an asus rog Nvidia 1060. Windows 10 64bit I had recently updated the graphics card via Nvidia app to 581.49 and that didnt help. So rolled it back and it was still doing it.
I ran the diagnostic windows+r (diax) says everything is working properly.
Bought this Maytag washer in a pinch 3 years ago and it’s been working fine until recently that it takes forever to do a load and sometime the load came out still wet. I looked it up and it says likely the filter needs to be cleaned due to buildup of detergent and whatnot but it’s a hassle to access the filter due to the design of the washer. I did some research and have seen people cutting a hole in the front panel to access the filter or you have to use a car jack to lift the washer up to access the filter. I am not that handy so should I even tempted to access the filter or Should I hire a professional to fix it? Thank you
My aunt's desktop stopped turning on recently. I checked the pwr switch for continuity when pressed, so that's good. Did a jumper test on her PSU and it didn't seem to come on (I later realized it does spin its fan for a second or two repeatedly when powered but doesn't turn on the mobo, HDD etc.)
HDD is good, checked it with my PC.
Hooked everything up to my known good PSU from my PC. It posts, HDD turns on if I plug it in, but the CPU fan doesn't spin and there is no display from VGA or HDMI (the only display outs on the mobo). Even after removing and reinserting the CMOS and having the hard drive unplugged. Initially after the CMOS reset it did give me 2 beeps instead of 1, so I swapped in a known good RAM module from my PC which made it post again. Still no display or CPU fan though.
If it's posting, it's not the CPU, and we know the PSU change made a difference so her PSU is likely dead... but the mobo is shot too right? I should be getting something on the display otherwise.
The thing is very old and was running at a snails pace, but I just want to make sure there isn't something simple I'm missing.

My ASUS laptop had 250 gigs of storage until I used a couple of backup apps. What's strange is that somehow in the mix of using 'Windows 7 backup', on my Windows 10, and using 'Backit Up Now' some ASUS setup disk app, my storage is down to 115 gigs; total. I had put in a SSD NVMe by Inland its storage is still 250 gigs. So what happened, I used the 'Windows 7 backup' and backed up to the SSD but, not before backing up to the Window C:\ disk. As where the setup placed the files. The 'Backit Up Now' was also backed up to the SSD and the trouble started. In comparing the two something was awakened in my laptop. One day I booted up and the unused apps somehow made my laptop save system files in a protected folder on the SSD. "R:\Program Files\ with a sub folder ModifiableWindowsApps" and "R:\WindowsApps". It's like a backward clone of only system and in bred apps of the original Windows 10 in a couple of folders upon the SSD file system. I have since uninstalled the Backit Up Now and the Windows 7 backup operations (closed down). The SSD has been renamed the 0 disk by the automatic partition event also. I've not found this problem online as to these details and a bit scared to try any answer.
Hi everyone! My computer has an rtx 3070 as well as an AMD 5900hx running windows 10. I recently attempted a reset on my computer after it's performance had begun to degrade, often randomly crashing with no prior warning and crashing with 100 certainty within about 2 or 3 kibutes of unplugging it l. While reinstalling windows at around 70 or 80 percent the computer crashed, and subsequent attempts to reinstall through the bios failed. Eventually I cleared and formatted the drives and worked towards installing both windows 10 and 11 through a USB-C drive, all of which would not work. Windows 10 would say it installed windows, but upon the first start up the computer would always boot in low resolution mode and crash usually some point after the network configuration stage, though sometimes it could do this prior to this step. My thoughts are that this is in some way related to the MyAsus software; as despite having cleared my c drive the computer is still retaining my custom RGB color, and as the armoury crate or asus software or whichever it is controls both RGB and fan profiles, im wondering if this software is still active and not causing the fan to kick on, as I believe my fan profile for unplugged would stop the fan in a similar way but I am not certain. My girlfriend has the exact same laptop aside from having not installed extra ram, and I have even tried creating restore point from her computer in an attempt to clone it and even just get it to a basic software configuration but this is often ruined by the computer being signed in as defaultuser0 which is required for recovery and image files. I wonder if the usb drive is also failing because it itself no longer shows up on my girlfriends pc. Help would be greatly appreciated, I cannot provide any more information from the PC itself at the moment but I can answer whatever questions I can in the meantime. Also, whenever attempting to boot windows 11 instead of 10, my computer would do the install and still continue to say continue to windows 10. I'm stumped, im admittedly not very good when it comes to this side of software, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

This is quite an urgent matter by the way, since it affects my computer that i use for school.
I left my pc idling on windows when about 3 hours in, it shut down. I thought that it was completely normal energy saving behaviour, but when i tried the next day to boot it, i had no signs of light, no bios, not even a single MB troubleshooting led...
It worked perfectly for the past couple of weeks when i built it.
Clues :
every component is brand new except for the graphics card, but unplugging it changed nothing.
all the psu cables seem to be in working order, although i can't test it (they are not visibly burned or unplugged)
when i plug the wall outlet into my psu, there is no electrical "click" that I usualy hear when plugging a computer.
not a plug cable problem since I tried with a working one, and not a wall outlet issue either.
tried unplugging it for more than 1h and it did nothing

I accidentally reset my laptop, after the process there are things that are missing or applications that are need to download again all files are still there. I need to download some application like epic games, discord and other app. Unfortunately, I cant open any of the MS Office. Can anyone help me on how to retrieve things so that it can back to normal again? I cant open word, excel and even power-point. please help me.

so recently i buyed two damaged cpus of vinted for 50 euros,(a ryzen 7 5700x and a ryzen 5 5600x) and i fixed the pin and tested them on my workbench(msi b450 and 16 gb of ram), and nothing happens: no fans spin up, no lights are up, nothing. i already tried to upgrade the bios but it didnt do anything, it seems like there is no cpu in the socket. i don't know what to do, can anyone help me?
So i have a h110m-r i got for 30 bucks but its stuck on bios password. i have done leave the cmos battery out and jump the clrtc pins to reset the bios but its not working .any ideas how to fix.

ok, so i can get notifications for comments that people leave under my posts, and when i open the app, i can see those comments in the preview of my post. but when i click on the comment button to view them fully, instagram tells me there are no comments yet. i can see all comments perfectly fine under anyone else’s post except my own. anyone know how to fix this? just started happening today.
my comments are unfiltered and open to everyone, and i’ve already tried logging out, offloading the app and deleting the app. idk if there’s another setting that might fix it but insta’s settings confuse me so i would really appreciate some help
So, my laptop works fine for a while when I turn it on but after like, 10 minutes or so, the screen starts glitching and I have to manually restart it by taking the battery out because I can't even move my mouse. Any idea why this happens? Sometimes, the laptop shuts down on its own, too

everytime i pause updates or restart my pc or turn it off these updates come back on, especially the one that bricks the internet on my pc...so i keep using windows restore to stop this mf. Im fighting windows every single day because of the trash updates they push out.
Hello everyone, i got this problem that my pc works fine, then gets a lag spike and everything drops(fps,mouse corsour moves in slow-mo) then works fine again/ There are no updates for drivers availeble, i did the burnin test and everything came back with no errors(5 min test, cpu test, memorry test)
What should i try or check?
I am in a group chat with 6 other people, and for the last few days I have not been receiving any of the messages in the group chat and I am not able to send messages into it either, last week I was able to do all of these things. I have sent all of them messages individually so I am not blocked by any of them, I tried creating a new group chat thread with them and that did not work either (I also created another group chat with different people just to test my phone and that group chat worked). I have also updated to the newest iOS, reset my network settings, turned my phone on and off again (twice), turned iMessage on and off, turned MMS messages on and off, and the RCS messages on and off. I have cleared old text conversations and a bunch of other memory on my phone. NOTHING IS WORKING!
Exactly as the title says. My laptop connects to WiFi but cannot access the internet. Tried other laptops, tablets, and phones. They work fine.

So here is my problem I run a r5 5600g and i bought an rx 5700xt The gpu worked on another system ( with no integrated graphics) and on my pc i tried an rtx3050 and it worked so we know both the pc and gpu work fine .
When i plug the gpu in and turned the pc on i had no display (yes cable is in the gpu not mb)
So what i did is through the bios (using the igpu) made the priority display option the igpu and with that set i plugged the gpu in and tried to locate it of the pc recognize it On device manager it shows that its there and works perfectly fine no error code or anyth When i went to install fresh new drivers the amd adrenaline software did find it and showed that its there besides the igpu , both there When i went to windows graphics setting and tried to make some game run with the dedicated card it doesnt show it and cant find it In the task manager performance tab its not there aswell I tried removing the igpu driver and keep the rx 5700xt one and restarted the pc in bios i reset the priority display to pcie1 port But same no display tried multiple cables hdmi, dp .. nth changed So im curious and lost honestly I asked Chatgpt (yes thats how frustrated i was) And mentionned possibility of drivers comflict

I realized that my videos on brave, be it on instagram or youtube are in very poor quality. Changing YT resolution isnt working and it looks trash on 1080p. It is a browser issue as it works fine on other browsers. I've cleared up some cookies but it still works just as bad. It's not the issue of my internet either as i still have the same poor quality after rewinding, and my internet is pretty good. I disabled all extensions but it doesnt do anything.

🔍 Il problema
Quando avvio un gioco e il sistema è sotto carico:
dopo alcuni minuti inizia un ritardo progressivo negli input (mouse e tastiera),con il tempo il problema peggiora e si aggiunge una distorsione audio, alla fine anche i movimenti in-game diventano rallentati e poco reattivi. È come se tutto il sistema entrasse in un “rallentamento” graduale, non un calo di FPS ma come se lo fosse quasi. Ho già sostituito sia la scheda video che l'alimentatore, ma il problema era presente anche prima → quindi li escluderei dato che persiste.
In passato ho avuto anche un episodio in cui le porte USB 3.0 della scheda madre hanno smesso di funzionare del tutto, per poi tornare a funzionare da sole.
Ho provato stress test sintetici con OCCT (CPU+GPU insieme) e non ho riscontrato problemi: nessun crash, nessun errore, nessun input lag durante i test.
Le temperature sembrano nella norma (CPU e GPU circa 70-75°C in full load).
Secondo voi cosa potrei testare o monitorare per capire meglio da dove nasce questo problema? Accetto suggerimenti su programmi, procedure di diagnostica o esperienze simili.

When I do a duoligo course my phone keeps just giving me glitched screens, this doesn't happen on any other app and it gets reset every time I turn my phone off and on again but then just happens again. I at first thought that it was because I went karting a few days ago but It doesn't happen on any other app (for context, I'm using a Motorola Moto g55)
