I find some dramas there when I can’t find it free anywhere else, but after the new update, the comment button is at the bottom and can’t let me read the subtitles.

just recently I’ve not been able to search films on my ipad on Dailymotion. (I don’t use the app, I just pull up the Dailymotion site through EDGE). I type in the name of the movie but when it goes to find it comes back none available. When I search through my phone I find it every time. Any idea what would cause this?

does anyone else’s video be restarting or just start buffering out of nowhere ?? it even does it on the website for me

It would be great if they worked on their crappy player. That garbage spends 15 minutes playing and crashes, when trying to go forward or rewind it returns to an arbitrary point. Anyway, that player is a huge mess.

While I realise a lot is lost in translation.. I don’t get where “the scheming woman” wants to marry all four “brothers”. Any insight?

Thats basically it. I know it doesn't cost anything to create a channel on Dailymotion, but I don't see almost any of the popular singers with a channel of their own there. They already have the videos, why not post it in one more place? Obviously it wont have even a tenth of the traction youtube has, but it's still something...

Hey everyone! 👋 I recently started using Dailymotion and wanted to say hi to the community. I’ve been exploring the platform lately and it’s been pretty fun discovering videos and channels I hadn’t seen anywhere else.

I first got into Dailymotion because [you can briefly say why — for example: “I wanted to find some old clips that weren’t on YouTube” or “I heard it has great international content”]. Since then, I’ve been checking it out more and more.

Looking forward to hearing what kinds of videos you all enjoy watching or uploading! Any tips or must-follow creators you recommend?

There is no way to watch bookmarks on this version on dailymotion anymore. I only watch what I’ve bookmarked.

Can anyone tell me why my picture in picture completely stopped working and how I can put it back on please. I've already tried the step by steps instructions which pip is still on....thanks in advance for any solutions.

It's been a while since I couldn't sign in to my account on the TV app. Does everybody experience the same. Will they fix it?

It'll go 1-2-3-4, but if I click on 17 it'll go 17-1-2-3.

The only way I can get it to play 17-18-19 is to click the forward button a bunch of times and let it play from there.

As since some days Chromecast or Apple Airplay weren’t available anymore in the Dailymotion app, I contacted their client support with the question if they had any plans to bring this feature back. This is their response:

We’re currently working on an improved version of our player and some features may be missing at the moment from our app, but we are unable to assure you that the chromecast feature will be reimplemented in the near future.

In the meantime, as an alternative, we recommend you to access dailymotion.com with the Chrome browser to continue enjoying the use of the chromecast feature or to try downloading our Dailymotion app for TV to consult the videos directly on TV. For a list of supported devices, we kindly suggest you to consult this article.

Seems Dailymotion is trying to be more like TikTok and casting will no longer be a feature sadly.

My payment got failed because of payment method is not correct and I fixed that issue and contact dailymotion support for repayment it is 8 days already and there is no message and no news can anyone know how long do I have to wait for my payment ?

Until 2 days ago I could start a movie and minimize it smaller still listening while browsing other apps. Now I can’t. What happened?

Is anybody else having this issue? I use Google chromecast to play from the TV but it just sits there loading and never plays. I try searching for videos in my Samsung Dailymotion TV app, it doesn't actually search and just sits on a white screen. I log into the DailyMotion TV app and try to play videos from my saved list and it sits on a white screen. I literally cannot watch from my TV at all. I've uninstalled and reintalled both my android and TV apps, I've restarted my router. Absolutely nothing. I never used to have these issues but I've tried several days apart and nothing has worked.

Really aggravating as there's literally no legal way to watch season 21 of Project Runway in Australia. Believe me I'd be so happy to pay to avoid this technical nightmare.

Update: Just tried using the browser on my TV, the loading bar stops at the same point every time. What is wrong with Dailymotion?

Hi, I wrote a movie analysis on my blog and I used videos I uploaded from Dailymotion. There’s something I don’t understand about it. When I look at the article on my computer, everything is fine.

When I look at it on my phone, some videos are absolutely not what I uploaded. It’s not ads either, even when those videos are finished, I don’t see what I uploaded. Can you tell me if you see the same thing and if it’s the case, do you know why ?

I also asked on WordPress support but since I don't know if the problem is Dailymotion or WordPress, I also ask here

i have seen other reddit posts about it,apparently dailymotion is a virus,i use safari ,when i checked the trackers on safari it showed a lot of trackers,i don’t know if those were just other tabs or something else (sorry if there is bad english)

Dailymotion recently started purging old inactive content, probably to save costs. Unfortunately they don't have the kind of financial backing that YouTube has. This is a reminder to save the content if you value it.

From the terms of use:

You acknowledge that if Your Dailymotion Account remains inactive for a significant period of time, Dailymotion reserves the right to delete, reclaim or remove Your Dailymotion Account in its sole discretion with or without prior notice to You.

I used to post all my UTAU stuff on YouTube until the ID stuff came about. Not giving those suckers my ID at all if they flag me, an adult, as a minor, just for the interests I have. On Youtube i cleared the history and then i was watching tax videos but I dont know if they'll flag me for the videos i cleared from my history... Although Dailymotion has a limited selection, that doesn't stop me from adding more UTAU stuff to the platform!!! Screw you, youtube, and hello dailymotion!!!!!! :)

Am I the only one having this issue every time I search for anything? It comes up with "Well, you've got us there We couldn't find anything for "searched video name"? Is there a fix? This happens about every week or so.. and for around 24+ hours at a time. I can't search for anything at all.

My internet connection was all good and browser and everything else is up to date i contact also the replied but didn't solve anything.

So I know the Roku Dailymotion app is supposedly dead but I'm seeing this here?

All it shows me is Sidemen videos though, and the search doesn't even work on anything else. I'm not a Sidemen fan...

on my mom's phone as well as mine, dailymotion has not worked!!! it keeps saying dailymotion cannot be reached and I have not clue why. Does anyone know what's wrong and how to fix this?

The past few videos I've uploaded to DailyMotion... oddly enough, all have been RE3 Remake videos... the videos have been unwatchable on both the Video Editor and the main Video Player. All that happens is I get a playback error and a random Error ID (because it changes every time I try to play one of my videos).

They also don't process in HD and stay in 360 only. Not even 480p, and no 720p or 1060p.

I can watch the videos in Chrome, but again the quality stays in 360p. I cannot watch the videos in Opera or Brave as it just gives me an error.

All of my videos fall within the size and length limits, so that cannot be an issue.

I've emailed DailyMotion support, they replied the next day. I replied and haven't heard back for 20 days (I've updated my ticket just now saying I'm STILL having problems).

Between DailyMotion making my videos unwatchable, and BitChute still having that pathetic Video Stuck in Processing problem that they STILL haven't fixed, therefore ALSO making my videos unwatchable, YouTube is once again looking like the better of 3 evils.

Oh, by the way... of course the ADVERTS still play on my videos fine, but not the videos themselves. Well done DailyMotion, looking out for your creators aren't ya?

Hello, I have a YouTube channel, that is fairly popular around 10,000 subscribers. I started to upload a couple videos to Dailymotion. Would it be worth my while to have someone narrate them in french and then upload them to Dailymotion? Right now I uploaded them in English, but as Dailymotion is a French website, would it be worth my while view wise? Thank you.
