Hello.
How do I get the evolution item for Phantump?

I understand that trade Pokemon are evolved using an "Upgrade" item specific to the species.
I obtained 2 Iron Upgrades from battling wild Onix in Zero Cave which I assume can be used to evolve an Onix into a Steelix but I've battled several Phantump in Hadwarf Gym and they haven't dropped a thing.
Is there a different method of obtaining the Phantump Upgrade?

1. U might want to battle phantump outside the gym cause i got 2 elder update from that (maybe ones in the dark hole forest) i dont remember and each of them only have a 30% chance to hold the update when u capture them and even a lower chance of drop it when u faint them in the wild ( the higher lv ur pokemon are the higher the chance of it drop after faint is and the 30% of it having the update stay the same)
2. U might want to watch WEEdle ( the dev utbe channel ) cause they have non spoiler guides to get basicly everything u need from fakemon location, pokemon den, ...

How's the post game? Is there a battle tower or frontier, tournament .. anything similar ? Loving this game so far

I had tried Stardust beach both day and night and while I'd encountered Phantump there during the plot with the lazy scientist, I didn't encounter a single one at this point.

Alas, I managed to get 2 Elder Updates off of Phantump in the Gym.

Thanx Stupid. I'll still keep the WEEdle YT channel in mind since there are no Wiki guides for this game.

Another question.
Is there a way to adjust the music volume or mute it. It's cool music but it's a bit too loud. I watch Let's Plays on Youtube while I play and somehow it's not affected by my laptop's volume level except muting and unmuting.

I need to report something.
I experience a lag in my character's movement. it's been happening since I started the game but thus far is most prominent in Newtron City and Milkiway City, Milkiway City most so and only outdoors. Inside houses or buildings, it's fine.
Is this an issue for anyone else and is there a way to fix it?

well there is legendary hunting, starter hunting, some event where u fight youngster Joey and his top tier rattata, fightning the Johto champion at the top of arora den, suvernier hunting,

Hey guys is there a specific way to get the exp share? I’m in modern mode, just unlocked the x ring headed back into the library spoken to the scientist and all she says is that no one uses exp shares anymore. Is it only available in the classic mode ?
 
Hello everyone. Well so I have three questions :

1- First this game is great and I will remember it as the greatest Elite 4 I ever played in both official or fanmade games, with those fantastic Cardinals. So I would be so gutted if there isn't a way to rematch the League after beating it first time. Have I missed something or is there actually and unfortunately no way to fight them back ?

2- Second one, is there a way to move up the Dimension Grunt in the Volcano ? The Sabolt quest doesn't seem to work on this one.

3- Same thing with the 3 scientists in the Victory Road, blocking the way.

It's not necessary to surf to catch Gastly, they appear in the grass in Darkhole Island. If you didn't catch one during the shipwreck event then you can fly back there when you unlock Ikarium H.

Modern mode means that an auto Exp. All is set as in SWSH so there wouldn't be a need for an Exp. Share. Hence I can understand the game not providing one.

I, however, am in Classic Mode, so is one available to me? That would be quite nice.

EDIT: The answer is yes. I talked to the scientist in the Library and she gave me an EXP. share. Hence it might be exclusive to Classic mode.

I've come across an in-battle bug.

I'm training a Riolu on Route 7/Gravity Tunnel and encountered a Hippotapus. The Hippotapus used Dig and since I was unable to hit it the next turn (because Hippotapus is slow as most Rock and Ground types are) I went for Work Up but it said the attack missed as though I'd attacked the Hippotapus was it was off the field.
Work Up is a status move that targets oneself so it can't miss.
I tried it twice to ensure that I hadn't hit the wrong move the first time to confirm this.

While I'm at it, I noticed a while back that the ability Arena Trap is bugged whilst IV/Nature hunting Trapinch. I would swap into Trevanent to use Will-O-Wisp and noticed I was able to make this switch on several Trapinch that upon capturing I found out had Arena Trap.
Arena Trap is supposed to prevent both running and swapping out, which is the reason it's such an obnoxious ability and I have also experienced the correct function.
I'm certainly not complaining, I loathe Arena Trap almost as much as I loath friendship evolution and believe it to be an utterly pointless ability anyway but that doesn't make this right.

Since there are special areas around the region that are exclusively accessible by the starters do we get the other two we didn't start with or do we just never get to access the areas our starter can't access?
What Pokemon can access the 'Special Electric Type' area on the summit of Mt. Starburst?

Another question: Can the Xenoverse Pokemon breed somehow? I've determined that they can't seem to breed with a Ditto and I'm pretty sure Jolly is one of the worst possible natures on the X-Ponyta.
Not to mention almost every time I use Cotton Guard it gets nullified by a damn crit and this is just in the wild thus far! Conceptually and aesthetically X-Rapidash is amazing but I'm having such terrible luck with it that it's kind of annoying me. Sorry needed a bit of a vent.

Or is there a method somewhere down the line to change natures (mints, Pokemon psychiatrist etc.)? I'd take that as well.

Ok so this question fixed my second one, just figured out the Avalugg. You need to bring Sabolt in order to pass the electric barrier.

Still looking for the bunch of scientists and the rematch, if someone has the answers.
