If you reach the happiness threshold after hitting Level 30, a Rare Candy WILL work to force the evolution. That said, there is a happiness checker in one of the Condor apartments, and the following message covers the 220-254 range in which it will start to evolve (despite what it says in the image: we modified the parameter from the main games to make the line where it evolves more clear)

I finished episode 1 in 11h 36m. Had a lot of fun. Writing, Pokemon design, difficulty all are solid. Flux moves are an easy and good mechanic
Power Thief + Struggle Bug Karmilarie is kinda op given this game has a lot of double battles.
Some trainers that have Vital as an Alpha Flux on their Pokemon don't seem to use it correctly.
Will be waiting for the next update
 
So yeah...

I just wanna appreciate this part of the game. It's very good and well done.

I don't know if choosing one or another character is gonna make much of a difference in the future chapters, but right now they are changing the first mon we receive. Interesting feature. Actual starter can be chosen, and oh boy... I love the designs so much! But can we agree that this one moth is just so adorable? Like... Can I hug it? Can I rub that little, sweetie thing over my cheek? Can I eat it? Is it sweet in the inside too?

Anyway... There is actually no bad team in this game so far. Officially at least. Which is good considering that there are bad pokemons. Well... Not exactly bad, just... Very, very, very angry pokemons for no reason at all. I mean, there is a reason, but nobody knows what that reason is. So we just go through region and gyms and catch new pokemon with awesome sprites? No. I must notice here that side stories are just well written. Like... Do you ever had that feeling in pokemon game that you do something, and it feels like it was there to just make you play longer? Not here! Every side quest is a separate story that has its own place in the plot. And characters are not just empty shells to make them harder battles. They actually make you care about them.

Also, there are no gyms. You fight in a some sort of tournament, I think? Very funny and entertaining idea.

Graphics... Yes. They are nice. I like them.

I don't know what to say more... Just play and see. Catch some shiny mons, trade, make yourself a good team for next chapter and wait with us.
 
Hi I just downloaded the game and i found a bug where after you get the second starter, if you go into a house and come out the entire screen goes black... But yet I can open up the pause menu and see some of the icons on the menu???
 
Why do i have negative money hahah, i just wanted to remember a move, and now im in negative cash
 
I'd like to report a bug on the Windows version, I keep getting stuck after battling Skye/terra. It's soo annoying that I can't even proceed 😞 to the point I've waited for hours for it to budge, pls fix this issue also every time I have to reset Pokémon flux there's his notification that says "RGSSS script seems to be stuck. Pokémon flux will now force quit." I think that's related to my issue?? Either way fix this pls I beg of you 🙏

It would be a pretty fun game nonetheless but the slowness really kills it for me personally :(

If speed-up is added to any fangame it should be as a prize for beating the game once already. If you're using speed-up on a first playthrough then you're just skipping the craftsmanship that went into the game.

Speed-up should really just be added for beating the game once already. No reason to use speed-up through the first playthrough since it does nothing but allow the actual finer details and sometimes the plot entirely to be missed in favor of "ahahahaha water type pikachu flux move go brrrrrrr I win the entire game in 2 seconds".
 
I feel like this game does need a speed-up button as well. Whenever you leave a building it feels like waiting 5 seconds on an add until you are able to hit "Skip Add".
Cool design but a lot of unnecessary waiting.
 
Maybe the Devs could look into something like this for the not being able to use items in battle:

This is from Pokemon Alexandrite. Another fangame you can find here on relic castle. It sucks that its forced 100% of the time. I get not cheesing the gyms or league with items but not being able to at all stinks. It's nice to at least be given the choice rather than forced into it. Some players can't handle change or the harder gameplay. This game is absolutely amazing and will probably finish strong but will be unplayable to some or off putting to others if the choice isn't there. This would also get rid of all the constant questions of "why can't i use items in battle". Unless the Devs could at least list that in the "features" of this game.
 
Also quick question. When and if Legendaries are added. If I get their health down to 1 and I'm throwing balls for 30mins trying to catch one I'm going to be needing to heal my mons while doing so. In the games current state the healing flux moves wouldn't be an option and only recover, rest, etc would. It would be a real pain for that as well.
 
I agree, I hope they take this seriously because the items thing is really unsettling for me. I'd absolutely play it, but the no items rule gives it an unnecessary difficulty that my head can't work with. :borf:

Not sure if this is a common bug or not, but I can't open the game up at all. I'm met with this screen when I try to open the .exe file
 
i just started playing the game as i have seen it played before and liked how the game looked the only problem i have is my rgss is stopping all the time after a few minutes
