There was a small talk about AI in the Discord servers a while ago where a few people got offended because of my opinion that "things are not the ones to blame, humans who use the things for unethical stuff are the main problem". I want to make this journal with all the times I spoke about the AI (with the original links), so I don't have to write things again cause at the end of both things, the main point is the same.
Twitter
Discord: On November 4, 2025, at 8:33 PM in the MikuMikuCentral server, in the General-Chat , someone shared an AI-generated video from beamman (The effects creator) My response:
"Well, it doesn't look that bad if we compare it to other AI-generated videos. But you can tell from the screen behind because the Japanese kanjis are strange there. I mean, if he is not earning money with it, I don't see the bad thing about having fun testing it."
You can start reading the conversation from here.
AI is a new big program based on neural networks that have been in development more years than people think. In 1912, Leonardo Torres Quevedo made an automaton (El Ajedrecista) capable of playing chess, for example. And it wasn't until 1997 that Garry Kasparov lost to the automaton Deep Blue at playing chess. The thing is that these technologies were not available for common people, unlike right now. They have been in hospitals to detect emotions in order to interact with autistic children or for the diagnosis and treatment of blood infections.
Now the big problem started when everyone had access to this tech, because humans are lazy and, as history has displayed a lot of times, stupid. They started using it for stealing art, music, and in general most of the artistic fields that now everyone could develop. Suddenly, "AI art" became a shortcut for lazy creators – scraping datasets without credit, flooding markets with low-effort knockoffs, and devaluing real skill. But that's not AI's fault. It's like blaming the photocopier for plagiarism (BTW it's illegal in a lot of countries to make copies of books) or Photoshop for bad edits. Tools don't choose how they're used; humans do.
-- Edit --
I want to put it explicit since people doesnt know how to read and less synthesize, I do not support the using of ai for stealing art, "creating art", using it for making naked or shamefull videos of people / fakenews, or big companies using AI instaid of paying people to do it. Because this is not fair and it broke laws.
--End edit--
Another point people are complaining about AI is that they are building data centers that are stealing the water from the places and using a lot of energy. This is true but like with everything, they are trying to improve and for example, some companies that have been working with AI for a long time are moving to the ocean in order to not affect humans by using water from rivers, lakes, or underwater, and also use renewable energy. You can perfectly boycott the company that wants to put a data center in your city by not using their products (for example Meta: you can delete Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp). And another little thing you may not notice... Where do you think DeviantArt, Discord, apps, videos, Amazon, Netflix, Steam... are when you access them? They are in servers all around the world too that are connected to electricity 24/7 and use water to cool down the CPUs too. And also, some of them are replicated in case one server shuts off because of an error, the second one can replace it until the main one works again. But since we were born with these things, we don't realize that. A server is not different from a computer but with a lot more resources and hard drives, a lot of hard drives. Everything on the internet is hosted in a server that is working 24/7 if people want to access it. AI is the new "demon" people want to fight because doing the same other things do cause we already take it for granted.
And now, let me talk about using AI ethically. There are a lot of examples of companies using AI just to save money.
For example this year (2025) Riot Games used AI to generate video for the Wild Rift trailer. This is unethical because that company doesn't really have money problems and makes a lot of money with their games. They have been hiring a lot of studios in past years to make the trailers and beautiful animations. They have done Arcane. So they have the money to do a video trailer like always, they have no limitations. This was just a saving money movement that lowers a lot the quality of them.
This summer with K-pop Demon Hunters, there was one song that used AI for inspiration to get generic lyrics for the song. This is a bit controversial since the studio in charge of the song had a limited budget because of some internal problems between the producer and the director. They had no hope in the project and the animators and creators had to make everything to finish it. But the real problem with this is that this opened the door to the idea of "let's create K-pop content without the artists" for K-pop producers. That is not being talked about from what I can see. And it's scary.
For those who don't know, Kinect and most mocap systems work with a cleaning AI system to get better results. This includes the mocaps done with the special suits, the special cameras, the Kinect (RIP 2023). This is used for MOST of game development in order to reduce time in the process, and not only AAA games. Project Diva and Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage too. All the motions that came out from games that are dances have been done using motion captures and AI. And yet no one gets angry at them, the only ones that get insulted and death threatened are the individual persons who decide to use it.
And now, let me talk about how I use AI with fair use or how new generations like to call it "ethical" , cause people think if you touch AI you are a thief. I use it like a helper for boring parts of my MMD workflow. For example:
QuickMagic mocap uses AI to get a better result of this. Video mocap has been in MMD since the beginning with the Kinect. MMD even has a menu to use Kinect directly in MMD (doesn't work too good because MMD is from 2007). Also companies like iPiSoft have been in the market since 2010, allowing doing mocaps with Kinect and normal webcams.
I never do the “AI did this” and call it mine. I always say: “Done with QuickMagic, cleaning done by me.” That’s the difference.Searching for references for my outfits or stage designs when I don't find what I want in Google Images or Pinterest. I always get around 5 different images about the theme I want to do.
To fixing scripts / effects when I don't find the answer on StackOverflow. Because yes, though I started my studies in modeling and art, at the end I got a computer engineer degree and work as a programmer. And with old coding language, like HLSL, there are not many info about them.
These small examples help me to finish the projects I work on since I have ADHD with hyperactivity, which makes me really productive the moment I start something but if it drags on for many days, I lose motivation. Also I don't have the money to be able to support all the creators or to commission someone for motions. Though from time to time I order commissions or buy beautiful animations from people who animate from scratch using references.
But for doing this and explaining that the tool is not bad, I have been insulted, expelled from 2 , now 3, Discord servers and talked about behind my back without asking from my side. It's okay, everyone is free to have whoever wants in their servers and talk to whoever they want, but what is not normal is harassing people because they don't have the same opinions like you. I do not think it's normal to wish someone to die just because of AI. Here some examples.

Or to publicly tell people to harass others just because they don't follow your dogma.
Toxic status
Or giving bad answers and being rude to someone who only told you how to avoid AI in DeviantArt.
Rude answer post
This is what someone with a funny mustache started doing in 1934 after being not accepted in art school. Creating hate toward other people because they had a different religion than him. Until it ended in what it did.
The strange thing is that in the MMDC, all the drama, all the toxicity always has come from the same group of people, the same users and their friends. I have been in this community for more than 10 years, and I have seen everything. The people who most cried about people not giving credits, the people who complain about not getting more views than others that "only put a motion" in the video, the people who do witch hunts to EVERYONE that doesn't match their thinking, is always the same group of people. I haven't seen anyone make drama except from them.
The resume is, as long as you don't let the AI do all the job and use it as a tool and you don't have the other options like commissioning another artist to do it, or doing it yourself, it's okay to use it.
Just a random data point about water usability to finish this post: the only process on Earth that "consumes" water and where you can't get it back is the process that plants use to obtain energy and grow. There are other processes but that only happens in the universe. What really damages the environment is intensive agriculture (70% of freshwater), crypto mining, and poor urban planning. Crypto mining is here because in proportion, it consumes more electricity and water than AI.
I know this may not change the opinion of people who have been brainwashed or that are still young or have the "protagonist syndrome". AI, like the Internet, like the steam engine and like the printing press, has come to stay. It's called evolution, development, and it has happened throughout all of history. And in all these cases people were against the new inventions.

Hey , Thanks for insulting and run with the tail between your legs. I will answer you here.
You're right, sometimes I forget that people don't know how to systematize data from a file, my fault. I always have high expectations from people.
I believe you have a high comprehension. But if you read "quite thoroughly," explain to me which part of "This is what someone with a funny mustache started doing in 1934 after being not accepted in art school (data put so I didn't have to write the name). Creating hate toward other people because they had a different religion than him. Until it ended in what it did." talks about "people who disagree with me" being like that man and not about the "creating hate is the problem" situation that is currently happening and happened back then.
Uneducated? Read the journal. Sources, links, videos in Spanish, all there. The journal is just a resume.
Emotionally immature? Well, I think it's more immature to wish for death and harass people for using AI.
My arguments are solid. they are there, in the journal, in the channel. I'm here for dialogue and to show people not everything is black or white. No AI, just me. If you want facts, I can keep going. If not, total peace.
