Had to take time out to congratulate my favorite DJ @djprincesscut with dropping her debut production album “Release” on 7/6/24 at her album release party 🔥🔥🔥 We’ve been locked in for the past 7 years. I’m proud the world gets to experience a lil bit of how dope she is as a producer and a DJ and hear what she has in store with this album. We locked in damn near every week this year even till 9am day of the party and release date making sure her project was just right. (The slides are a select few bts I chose to post from the camera roll and from her profile).

He did more work off screen for the people than on what we all know yet I felt like this is the perfect moment to release this track. Sending light & honor to the spirit of @ChadwickBoseman we all have to live on purpose since we will never know when our last day will arrive.

When I got the news the first thing that crossed my mind was his sons & wife. Out of respect for his family I went to visit all of them to celebrate his life before posting online. I learned alot at his studio between 2010 to 2015 that made me a quick audio engineer today and impacted my career & skills heavily. We may not have seen eye to eye always yet always had respect at the end of the day. Told his family I’ll always be there for them if they needed anything and promised that. His passing reminded me to live life to the fullest, & treat people good while we are here since we aren’t promised tomorrow. 2020 has been crazy. RIP Filapine
