How to Heal in a Week

I live such a fast-paced and manically social life. Dinner, drinks, work, writing, parties, a hundred conversations at once. I periodically get burnt out and depressed, and tell myself “Kelly you have to slow down,” but when it’s time to slow down, I don’t know what I’m slowing down for. It feels like punishment sometimes to be alone with my own thoughts. But I think there were some clues in this last week, about what to do, and what to look for. I only realized it was a week filled with remarkable beauty when I looked back through my camera roll today. Maybe we can figure it out together:
