Creating Confident Eaters

Rate this book
A unique book that empower parents to support their child to add new foods in gentle, practical and easy to execute steps.

Not what to feed a child but HOW to get them to eat it. It was originally aimed at parents of picky eaters but is as valuable for any parent who would like their 2 – 12 year old to eat more variety. Perfect to support toddlers in that fussy phase too.

Like a giant picture book for adults it’s deceptively simple but covers quite complex concepts, showing how to move from commonly accepted foods like toast, crackers and pasta to different foods.

The concepts can be used for any foods accepted by a child. All strategies have been proven to work for even the most selective of eaters.

Accessible, it's designed to be read cover to cover initially and then used as a weekly resource that can be dipped in and out of for inspiration.

As the author I'd like to say the first words!

We have referred to this as a guide rather than a book. It is non-medical, very easy to read and to use. It is designed to empower the average parent (like me) to meet their child where they are at with their eating and to gently support them to add new foods.
Parents are, in almost all cases, the ones best placed to support their child to eat more variety. No one spends more time, is more invested or knows them better than we do.
The guide takes us through simple, practical steps that anyone can master to gently support a child to move from where they are now to new foods. The strategies have been proven to work with even the most selective of eaters.
The focus is on putting fun back into food for everyone. Yes fun!
