Well, I’ve checked and it’s been… six months and thirty days (or one-hundred-and-fifty-one weekdays) since I last typed in here. How much has changed since the last time I typed in here? A lot.

For the sake of privacy, I will not disclose whom I had for each class last semester, but I will say that each of the four classes I took last semester went out pretty well, give or take a few all-nighters that went well into the day. Seriously, there was one day in mid-December where I didn’t sleep for seventy-eight hours and had to present a major project on that never-ending sleepless day. The sleep I had when I finished with that project was… delayed until the night after because even with my sleep cycle out of synch, it still took me until 3AM to properly fall asleep. But I digress.

My classes this semester are a whole different ballpark. As for why I’m typing in here again, brushing off the site I once decried as being too hard to navigate (at least to myself)? Simple – when the time calls for it to be used, I’m the first to answer the call. By updating this site, obviously.

It will be a hard journey, yes, but one I think will be worth it in the end. And thankfully, I’ve long since discarded that “incoherent jumbled mess” mentality I had back in September. Even on my first day back I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things.

So here’s to a new chapter in the never-ending book we call life.
