I wouldn't generalize like that. I have my own criticism of things here, anyone who follows me knows that, but I've been incredibly lucky in the relationship department. Very happily married to a Japanese husband for 9 years (I'm not into dating, he isn't either so we got right to business and got married extremely quickly). I know many happily married couples. Marital issues exist everywhere. And I'd say when these happen, it's not always only 1 person's fault.
