An Invitation To Sip Some White Folk Tea..

Why's that? I have yet to go incog to drop any tea or refute any tea that's been dropped. I've been in the entertainment industry since my teens so I know what I can or cannot say without revealing myself or something that isn't anybody's business in the first place. Some of these people are my colleagues or people that I respect and know I through friends and some are honest to goodness friends. When I know something is true about someone I like but it's juicy I stay quiet, when I know something is false I say something, when someone drops tea that's true or close enough to the truth even if the details are a little off that I don't have a personal interest in I have supported it. When a story is convoluted and makes no sense in the way that this business operates then I point that out too, after nearly 20 years in the business I have the right. Hell, as an LSA member I have that right.

If (general) you just want to believe anything that's dropped by an incog then one of these months I'm gonna do just that. I'm going to make up a bunch of crap and entertain myself watching you all believe every single drop while I know not a single word of it is true. Don't you want things to be refuted if they're not true or do you just want any reason to point and judge people you don't know and will likely never meet and have done nothing to you? Far too many people on this site don't think of celebrities as even being people, they've been completely dehumanized to the point where I get groaned and neg rep'd whenever I try to remind you that they're real people and not some inanimate thing. That sh!t's cold to someone who deals with them on a regular basis even the assholes. I've had to defend people I don't even like from time to time but when it's wrong it's wrong and I'm the type of person who speaks up.

I have NEVER refuted anything that I knew to be true just because I was close to that person and I never will but I better hear some really good reasons on why I shouldn't say something when I know something to be false or a story doesn't make sense. It's not an attempt from me to derail but to keep things on the up and up. I personally don't see what the issue is.

Come on! He was really good in it, I slept through the parts he wasn't in. I agree that him dying added some sensationalism, but he was on his way to Oscar anyway (previous nomination, big projects etc). If he had lived he would've definitely been nominated and then the politics would've played out - but this was a career defining role.

Come on now. I agree Ledger was great in the role and that he received positive buzz for his performance before his death. I do think he could have scored a nomination had he lived. However, it was his death that clinched that win. That Best Supporting Actor category went from a horse race to a guaranteed Ledger win after he died.

These folks live and die by their Q rating and focus groups. Hers has gone down some over the years but it is still pretty darn high which is why she can get choice endorsements. It IS getting a little harder for her film-wise but she has been putting out some solid performances lately.
