No it's not new, but it's a rebrand by my understanding so basically being treated as if it's new like Ther.on with Dior or Kid.man with Chanel No.5. Jul.ia didn't like that Lan.come/Pene.lope was going to get a big rollout and campaign for Tresor so her people went to Lan.come basically saying she wanted La Vie to be the only fragrance on the market from Lan.come with an actress attached to it as a highly visible face/presence on the market. They couldn't just take Pene.lope off of it but they basically stopped promoting it and Pene.lope as the face of it. There are no commercials in the US, no billboards, no posters in Macy's, no nothing. I don't know how it sells, but it isn't in the top 100 selling perfumes for 2014. Basically Lan.come was planning some big Tres.or re-branding campaign cause they rolled out a commercial in 2013 and haven't done anything else for it since. Hope that makes sense? If not, I'll ask for more info. That's what I got.

It's probably a little of both. I definitely think jealousy is involved, Hollywood is like high school. If one person is succeeding than everybody else takes it as everyone else failing. Everybody is in everybody else's way. I have heard the words "ego" and especially "ignorant" used a lot when it comes to Jenn.ifer though. Everyone talking about "taking her down a peg or two." I think it's the older folks who really have the issue. They haven't embraced her much (especially not the women).
