Description
Hi CopperFr,
The last blender5.0 ALPHA version that runs without crashing on my Win7 laptop is this one:
blender-5.0.0-alpha+main.35d3f3f028c9-windows.amd64-release.zip
(found here https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/archive/)
It is from August 27. Every version after this one crashes on my Win7 setup.
I don't know if it's a VxKex issue, or if it's my old graphic card that is becoming less and less compatible. Are you having any better luck with blender5.0 ALPHA on your Win7 computer?
Thank you.

The last one :
blender-5.0.0-alpha+main.fc5c6ab374bb-windows.amd64-release.zip
and
blender-5.0.0-alpha+main.8b05fb62f09f-windows.amd64-release.zip
is working for me but i'm using my dev (unpublished) version of VxKex...

Hi again CopperFr,
Will you be able to release your unpublished latest version of VxKex? Blender 5.0 is in beta at this point, and unfortunately KexSetup_Release_1_1_3_1455 which has been very helpful so far, is not working (for me) with 5.0.
Thank you.

Yes but I prefer to check if it working with 1.1.3.1455 on my PC before...

Thank you for your response CopperFr.
Sorry for sounding so eager, which I am...

You can try my dev version if you want...

Hi CopperFr,
Thank you for sharing your new dev release. Unfortunately it is still crashing.
I tried it with the latest 5.0 Beta
(blender-5.0.0-beta+v50.ac9de14f032e-windows.amd64-release from https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/).
And by the way, KexSetup_Release_1_1_3_1458 works fine with the Blender 4.5.3.
Please find attached the VxKex log files from the failed Blender 5.0 launch.

I'm not surprised because changes was not for Blender... Your issue is probably GPU related as they increased minimum GPU requirements for Blender 5.0 :

Yes, I know. I have been reading those for a while now and had been getting increasingly nervous... I imagine there will be lots of other people screaming soon when they find out that their computers are officially 100% obsolete. What a catch 22 these upgrades are. They change one cable and you need a brand new computer. And I wouldn't mind upgrading if this computer was not working anymore. But it's still in great shape... Oh well. I sadly started looking around for an upgrade yesterday. And I really don't want to upgrade to windows 11.
