Immersive Home is available with HorizonOS v81.0 on Meta Quest

Immersive Home is your personal virtual space on Meta Quest VR headsets where you can relax, work, and connect with others in a customizable and interactive environment. It offers features like anchoring your favorite apps, switching between different scenic backgrounds, and smooth movement options to make the experience comfortable and engaging.

To change your scenery in HorizonOS:

  1. While in Immersive Home, press Menu to open the Immersive Home editor.
  2. Download and select the scene you want to use.

To anchor an app in your home:

  1. While in Immersive Home, open a 2D app and position it where you want it in your Home.
  2. Select , then select Anchor.

To edit your avatar in Immersive Home:

  1. While in Immersive Home, approach your mirror and select Edit.
  2. Select your avatar customizations, then select Save.

To change your movement settings:

  1. From your headset, press / to open the universal menu.
  2. Select Settings, then select World movement.
  3. Customize your avatar’s movement and locomotion to a setting that’s comfortable for you.

Note: These settings will also affect your movement in Worlds.
