"VShojo is on borrowed time" was such a running joke between the behind-the-scenes staff types for literal years, it was a thing for so long that it was like watching plot armor on a corporate entity. The people at the top keeping that hidden from those actually generating their revenue, right up to the last moment, is nuts.
I kinda assumed all that time the people inside the company at least were kept in the loop.
At least since I got involved in this line of work, VSJ coming up would almost guarantee someone in the conversation throwing out a "yeah I hear their finances are doing awesome".
It's sad to know that since at least 2023, it seems more random industry people than talents in VSJ knew how in the red they were over such a long period.
Although for sure I don't think anyone thought it was quite as bad as... well... taking money from certain places...

A lot of the industry knew of the problems happening within VSJ.
The talent were the last to find out.
Some of them finding out as late as Mouse's video.
Have some fucking grace for us.
I found out some crazy things tonight and I just need to rehash this back up
