I've gone fishing and taken hunting trips with my dad, so I've seen my fair share of wild animals while doing so (like white-tailed deer, sailfish, swordfish, lionfish, woodpeckers, sea urchins, tunas, pelicans, black vultures (although these ones are piss common where I live, you just need to go to the suburbs to find them), skunks, coyotes, orcas, bottle nosed dolphins, whales, yada yada yada. Latinx fauna basically). I've also casually ran in to other wild animals whilst doing random stuff; there was this one time in fifth grade where I managed to infurm my school's staff about the presence of an opossum hiding in the school's theather windows and I usually bump in to stray coati (coaties?) whenever I go to work with my dad.
Oh yeah, my father also owns a caiman fur some goddamn reason. He used to own another one like a year ago but it fled the pond it lived in and moved on to one of our neighbour's fish farm, where it was eventually shot.
