One time I was watching some American youtuber's video about a musician from my country and he butchered the name so badly that I only figured out who it was about halfway into the story. He's good for getting book recommendations and sources to investigate yourself. As most academics are. I spend alot of time reading academic research papers on esoteric and occult subjects just to get access to deep cut source material. You dont learn how to practice from scholars but the scholars have done alot of the heavy lifting in compiling the sources. Its kind of like crate digging for vinyl with them.
