MAGA, long touted as a conservative revival, reveals striking parallels to the Marxism it denounces. From sweeping state economic control to a privileged elite akin to Soviet nomenklatura, MAGA echoes the very methods it opposes. Despite railing against socialism, it adopts the authoritarian playbook — exploiting perpetual crises, undermining institutions and pursuing expansionist “MAGANTERN” ambitions reminiscent of Soviet-era behaviour. This evolution marks a seismic shift: the GOP, once home to free markets and individual liberty, now embraces the central power, forced conformity, unaccountable cliques and economic intervention it once condemned as “communist”. MAGA mirrors Marx, not Madison.

MAGA is Marxist. Yes, really.

Despite its lava-throated denunciations of socialism, MAGA’s actions deeply embrace state power, economic intervention, unaccountable cliques, social conformity and a permanent revolutionary struggle against “the elite” (from Hillary Clinton, to the FBI and labelling anyone it doesn’t like as “a liberal”).
