農林水産省の政務三役で、福島県の震災からの復興の現場へ。 小名浜港で漁業者と、楢葉町、双葉町で農業者と、浪江町では林業関係者と。 「長期に渡る廃炉の後も漁業が営まれているように取組む」という言葉が心に響きました。 地域により異なる状況をよく踏まえて、復興の取組を加速させます。

トランプ大統領の来日中ですが、私はパラオ共和国🇵🇼のウィップス大統領と会談。 自民党青年局長としてのパラオ訪問以来の再会で、旧友のような感覚で率直に諸課題を議論できました。 日本とパラオはトクベツな関係。 食や農林水産業分野の外交上の貢献で、食料安全保障と地域の安定に貢献します。

今日伺った私の地元西川町の山沿いの集落。 だんだん日常になりつつあるのかな……。 家の裏の柿の木に、例の方が登って柿を半分以上食べたのを発見して仕掛けた罠……。 農村の山間地の現場もあることを知ってくださればありがたいです。
