at a past workplace one of the employees there told me that apparently 2 dead people were found on site within the span of 6 months together
one was found dead in front in the morning lying in a ditch
the other was fucking decomposing in the woods behind the site

and yes, it's as creepy as it sounds since there were only 2 guys per night shift, with one having to stay in the office and the other scouting every 2 hours

nobody told me, or i suppose nobody even knew what the equipment was for since it looked broken and damaged but still had to be checked for some reason as well as in calling the repairmen for any huge leaks that could not be handled by the pipes

the usual resident evil sounds happened rarely, like a distant splash, possible other footstep other than mine or muffled metal sounds from whatever industrial raisin they had there
but i always felt a weird sensation being by myself in those underground sectors

they were small internally but stretched on for miles going wherever the fuck and we were explicitly told not to venture off for too long
i always made my time there quick and efficent because as i mentioned
there was some weird, i can't even explain it sensation or air i've never felt before like that one intense feeling you get when you're being watched by multiple people whilst doing a speech

the air was much less intense above doe, like as soon as you climbed up from underground


i tried asking some of the guys during my time there if they spotted anything weird and i feel like this guy cole was just fucking with me but during the routine underground checking he spotted "2 white spots in the distance i've never seen before"

i never got proper answers as to why the place was how it was since nobody knew not even my co-workers off site when i spoke with them

i forgot to mention they were desperately trying to find people for those night shifts and were practically paying 2 times the amount they were doing during day shifts which i was happy to oblige to originally since i had no idea what the fuck i was getting myself into

in terms of cole mentioning those "2 eyes" in those underground sectors i do remember distinctly either seeing my shadow or something moving way down the corridors underground and didn't even bother to check any further

the above sectors weren't any better either because it was also a sort of storage location housing various raisin like movie prop equipment, woodworking material and various toys of all kinds with the only sound around the building either being the pipes filtering water, my footsteps or the shuffle of keys having to open and close every door we needed to go through

the above sector was also pretty strange due to the already mentioned mysterious equipment no longer in use but still needing to be protected but also the layout being convoluted
i'm no architect but from my time there the building was either a sandbox or built by an actual retard

it wasn't anymore creepy than underground either since i could swear most of the time i heard other footsteps other than mine when walking

it's actually the spookiest story i tell to my drunk friends during hikes and online because it was actually paranormal to some degree
i've had about a month of experience since there so far but nothing prepared me for this absolute, imminent ghost rape i was about to receive if i didn't get the fuck out when i did

basically we hold radios to communicate with each other on and off our switched patrols in case of anything because we couldn't use phones inside as the signal always died and the radios sometimes did and sometimes didn't depending on how bad it was raining
that particular night there was a thunderstorm which heavily fucked with our radios to the point there's just incoherent static on the other end when we try to talk with ourselves inside

during my second patrol inside (2 am) the static got progressively louder the deeper i went inside

that night i went and gendered around the warehouse to check what they had
there were the toys i mentioned before like thomas the tank engine, dolls and marvel figurines but during my pass there i once again felt that strange, suffocating air i always feel in the underground section which was strange since it's never this bad upstairs
at the corner of my eye one of the dolls (old school farmer looking type) i swear moved their eyes as if it was following me but once again just chumped it up to me being paranoid again since when i turned to fully check it was looking straight
the atmosphere was the worst part since i really did feel like i was being watched due to how much noise i was making walking and handling the keys around and this time, along with the radio jam
half-way through a couple sub-stations before entering the underground sector i 100% heard some footstep behind me and it wasn't paranoia since i deliberately stopped dead in my tracks to just confirm i'm not going schizo
there was an actual, quickly shifted footstep trying to stop as well right after i did and once i heard it my heart sank and i started praying while just ignoring it and acting like nothing happened so the thing behind me didn't suck my out my soul
it soft, pad type almost trying to mimick that one of a boot but sounding like a shoe instead

i acted more hastily during the patrol as to get out as fast as possible but considering my animal brain was so considerate of survival i tried to psyop this thing into thinking it was just another normal patrol and went underground
what i didn't realize is that i can't turn around and get back up
it hit me as soon as i got down and at that point i nearly wanted to whimper in fear because of raped of a position i put myself in
not only that, as i stopped to realize it i legitimately felt a hot air flow behind me which only cemented the fact that i was getting haunted so once again i continued my patrol as normal as to not let it know i'm aware
the thing is that no one ventured beyond the corridors long enough since we weren't allowed and i don't think anybody did either but my only escape plan was finding some turning point that lead to another staircase up since i knew i saw a couple around the place
the deeper i went into the corridor the tighter the air felt almost like being at a high mountain or scuba diving
the radio was getting so loud it sounded like a boom box but didn't pay much attention to it since i was figuring a way to get out, but i swear that there was a voice coming out of it which i presume was my co-worker or that one missing employee i forgot to mention trying to talk to me, and not only that
i saw a faint figment of a small, pointy white dot at the end of the corridor

luckily i found a 1-way room leading to the upstaris warehouse and made my way out as fast as i could but as soon as i entered it the hot air dissipated and i felt a relaxing sensation
then i rushed my way out, ran to the office station and explaining everything to joel which we both agreed not to go down there for the rest of the night

he couldn't believe me at first but as soon as i mentioned the hot air flow he related as it happened to him as well once getting out of the underground section

i quit my job the next day
