Hmmm..., Maybe not. Tomo the spaz as driver, nothing could hit them. Osaka as radio/hull-gunner, to keep her in the least dangerous position. Chiyo-chan as gunner, because that position requires quick mental math, and she could never lift a shell anyway. Yomi as loader, because she can lift the shells. Sakaki as tank commander, because she's the smartest, most together of the bunch, and a cool head is best as a TC. (She'd just have to watch out took keep the tiger('s hatch) from biting her.

Not bad, but I'd switch Chiyo-chan and Sakaki. Sakaki's intelligence and extraordinary athleticism would be better suited as gunner. Also, she would follow Chiyo-chan's orders to the death. Chiyo-chan is better suited to tank commander. She's the smartest of the bunch (although it's very close between her and Sakaki), she's a born leader (look at how she organized the culture festival for her class each year) and her complete lack of athletic ability wouldn't be a detriment like if she were the gunner.

I think the whole would be incompetent.

Chiyo: Turn the turret 180 degrees port and full speed ahead!

(Tomo puts the tank in full reverse, they hit a small cliff and the enemy tank blows them to pieces while they're stopped).

I think the team would be incompetent as well. I think the overall setup would slightly resemble that of the cavalry race between Tomo, Osaka, Yomi and Chiyo.

I can imagine Tomo as the maniacal gunner who wildly fires the machine gun all over the place, not caring as to who she's firing at, friend or foe...

Osaka would be the loader who takes forever to load the tank shell because she's confused as to which side of the round goes in front, then gets her face slammed by the recoiling breach door when the tank fires... And likes it...

Yomi would probably be the tank commander who gives orders and fires the main cannon. She would constantly yell at Osaka to hurry loading the next round, as well as yelling at Tomo to stop giving away their position by firing all over the place...

And lastly, Chiyo would be the one who unfortunately has the responsibility to drive the tank. The crew cant move anywhere, since she's terrified by the sights and sounds of tanks exploding, as well the vibrations coming from Tomo's machine gun.

do u guys killed osaka?... if she were the gunner, she will fire 90 degrees up to the sky and finally the shot comes back and blow up the tank, that is a disaster

I am pretty sure you could pull an equivalent of this group in Girls und Panzer nowadays. This could be one of three things, depending on the writer.

A. Totally incompetent tank crew due to the going off on their own inside the tank.

B. Totally competent tank crew if everyone had a job suited to their abilities. With Chiyo-chan this could be the school's flag tank/command tank.

C. Team Troll tank. Thinking Student Council tank with the School Council President as gunner.
