any tea on any directors?
ridley scott?
tony scott?
oliver stone?
Scorcese?
de palma?

Just to preface I've worked/work on sets, some shows and some events over the years so I will spill my own tea and other tea from other friends who work behind the scenes.Like OP said a lot of these people are are another story behind the scenes, especially a lot of the women.

As far as directors go and like some posters have said Quentin Tarantino is surprisingly REALLY nice, even on set. He jokes, introduces some of his other chief crew members.

David Fincher (The Social Network, A Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) is also surprisingly very nice on set and in person as well.

Lee Daniels is an asshole. I had some friends that worked on The Butler, the new movie with Oprah that's about to come out and he is a raging lunatic on set. Of course he's not like that with Oprah, Lenny Kravtiz, but with the crew and extras just like TP. I consider him to be the Tyler Perry of indie films, but after hearing how he acts on set I REALLY can't stand his ass now. It's just funny considering that I've worked on the set of films for Fincher and Quentin, actual A-list directors and here this c-list ass ***** JUST starting out in the business compared to them and he acts like Hitler. I really believe that him and Tyler Perry will have a huge fall from grace. They don't treat people behind the scenes right.

Now for some actresses/actors:

Zoe Saldana is a cokehead. A friend of mines told me that at a movie wrap party he attended/worked on that she was openly using coke at a table without a care in the world. But that's the norm on sets and wrap parties for movies, where the crew is on some type of drug, so I'm sure she felt comfortable to do so.

Salma Hayek acts like a snobby b!tch on film sets. When she was done filming her scenes for the day on one film, the heffa would request that her car/driver park far from the rest of the crew waiting on their rides so that she didn't have to stand next to other members/actors on set. Another friend told me that he told her "good morning" while standing during a film break and she straight up ignored him. LOL.

Taraji P Henson is a sweetheart. She cracks jokes with the crew on set, doesn't mind taking photos, etc.

Cate Blanchett is pretty cool.

Brad Pitt is nice. His skin is awful in person though. He has a crater face. I saw someone mention that in the thread. It was surprising to see.

Reese Witherspoon was surprisingly nice at an event I went to some years back. She posed for pictures and everything, which was a shock considering it was Ryan Phillipe's event for his movie when they were married at the time. He was ok, but no one cared about him. They cared about Reese which was funny because it had to be about two weeks later after that event that they announced their separation.

Idris Elba is pretty cool on set.I've been around a lot of celebs, over the years especially some "heartthrobs" and NO ONE captivated me in the way Idris did, in terms of his presence. He's really got it in terms of becoming another Will Smith.

Nicholas Cage is a damn weirdo.Sometimes he would be happy on set, sometimes he wouldn't say a word. He was so paranoid he ended up renting a whole FLOOR of a building he temporarily stayed at (he stayed in a condo) because he didn't want to "deal" with people.

I'll think of more when I can......

In the meantime, my cup will be on standby for the next round of earl grey.

He does! I've seen women loose their minds in his presence. It's the funniest sh!t I ever saw.

Will and Denzel need to sit down somewhere.

I have some tea on Star Wars, Disney, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent, chums! If you want to skip to the bits you're most interested in, then check in that order:

:jedi:

My brother is a frickin' massive Star Wars fan, so my family attended Star Wars Celebration VI last summer. Unlike the rest, I only went twice out of a possible four times and sadly missed meeting Mark Hamill. At this sort of event, you pay a pretty penny for a picture when it comes to the principle characters. The deal also includes one or two people besides yourself (maybe more or less), but he was gracious enough to participate in the professional picture as well as five iPad pics. He actually had to ask my bro to hunch because he's no more than 5'71/2" compared to my Michael's 6'3" or so stature.

Basically, Luke Skywalker is a chill dude as long as you don't mess around when it comes to his bread and butter! This grown man eagerly looked on as his little boy -- which he clearly coached -- interrupted their convo/session by proclaiming, "Mr. Hamill, 'A New Hope' is my favorite movie! Luke is the besttt." He replied, "Oh-kay" and completely ignored him. Shiiitttt. I hope the kid is young enough to forget the encounter so that he won't be traumatized but at least his Fanboy Father learned a lesson that day.

Moving on to Carrie Fisher, she is truly something else. If you fast-forward four minutes into the clip below, you'll hear her two-minute answer to my bro's question at one of the convention's events. (Btw, the interviewer is an insanely talented voice actor named James Arnold Taylor. He mimicked over a hundred different actors' voices within three minutes or less when he emceed and gave off good vibes. I'm sure you've heard him plenty of times without ever realizing it.) As you can see, she presents herself as a free spirit and offers humorous insight. Well, when we met her the next day, she was all business.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rrKH9RFD9s]Star Wars Celebration VI: Carrie Fisher: Date With A Princess (Part 7) - YouTube[/ame]

Like most of the principal characters, she was concealed inside her own tent set-up, but she was the only person featured that opted for signatures only. When it was our turn to walk in, Mom put the iPad inside a plastic bag and was told by the woman standing outside that she'd have to remain outside the tent or allow her to hold it since no photography was allowed. Mom convinced her she'd keep it inside the bag and the worker gave in. Upon entering, Mike was offered several headshots spread out on a table to choose from, given a Post-it and Sharpie marker, and instructed to write his name and what he wanted stated on the Post-it and place it where he wanted her to address him and mark the "x" where he wanted her to sign.

Naturally, I took in my surroundings throughout the process. The entrance and exit were the only two cut-outs, Carrie was almost all the way to the right but wouldn't be visible through the exit, and there were four staff members. One to assist in selecting the headshot, a second to hand out the Sharpie and Post-it, a third to check over placement and diction, and the fourth to hand you the memorabilia. Carrie had dark shades on and an LED cigarette hanging out of her mouth. She had this uncomfortable intensity about her and you could tell she'd avoided interacting altogether...until we arrived and turned the joint upside-down!

As we made our way toward her, Mom made a split-second decision to ask for a picture. The guy who handed out the signed head shots to each recipient stepped forward to speak on her behalf, but Carrie simply motioned a "stop" hand signal to block him and stated, "Do what you're gonna do -- you're gonna do it anyway!" Thusly, she goes down as more than all right in my book because let's face facts: she could've easily cited a violation on our part and kicked all three of us with or without the autograph and (quite possibly) no refund. Since I was in the middle, I like to remind Mike that I could've taken his spot in the picture altogether, but he is very grateful that I ducked down as there was no room to back up or time to side-step.

Anyway, she looked right into the camera with her head tilted, eyebrows raised, and an attempted smile despite the LED ciggy. It's reminiscent of Burgess Meredith's Penguin portrayal, but she still looks pretty! Although her personality seemed like a stark contrast from the one we'd witnessed less than tweny-fours hours before, I truly believe she is a good-hearted person who has that self-preservation quality on lock due to the business she grew up in. Read any brief bio on her and see for yourself!

Hmmm, many more people to get to. Y'all remember Jango Fett from Episode II -- Attack of the Clones? If not, then you don't know what you're missing because Temeura Morrison is one sexy beast! I wasn't there to witness it but there is recorded footage of him teasingly singing "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" to Mike on stage. What a talented sweetheart! It's especially nice to watch after seeing him play a violent alcoholic in "Once Were Warriors"; an image that's hard to get out of one's mind. Next is an excerpt taken from my post in two other threads because I'm too lazy to re-write it.

I met Mike Quinn (who has worked as a Muppeteer since the age of 16 on the set of "The Great Muppet Caper") last summer at the Star Wars Celebration VI Convention and I damn near lost it while I was on line because it was one degree of separation from my favorite innovator. He was just the nicest guy ever, though, and he told me that the Henson family has always been such a kind, fun bunch.

Fun Fact: The first day Mr. Quinn began working as a Muppeteer happened to be Mr. Henson's birthday. When he handed him his working papers, Jim said something to the effect of, "Oh, a card! You really shouldn't have!" Mike had been so anxious to begin work that he hadn't realized the fuss everyone had been making over Jim, so he hadn't known it was his birthday until then. Jim proceeded to pat his back, laugh, and admit that he was just teasing. Finally, he shook his hand and welcomed him aboard!

Are you aware of the creature that yells, "It's a trap!" in "Return of the Jedi"? The performer of said creature, Timothy Rose, was game for an Admiral Ackbar show-off and playfully walked away declaring that he had lost and Mike could take over his post. Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Clone Wars voice actor Matthew Wood generously lent his General Grievous impression to Mike's voicemail. Unfortunately, Peter Mayhew and Christopher Malcolm aka Chewbacca and Zev Senesca are notable impersonal personalities. Oh, and George Lucas cleverly sent a decoy of his own the day he made a surprise appearance at the convention.

Bonnie Piesse (Luke's adoptive mother in the sequels) is incredibly receptive and big on hugging. Amy Adams (Aayala Secura) is much more reserved and noticeably shows if she's taken a liking to you by the way she poses. For example, she doesn't hug but she will lean in much more and expose her teeth, and she did that with Mike. I'm hesitant to declare she feels threatened by other attractive female but think it's safe to assume she's more comfortable around men because she looked decidedly neutral in Mom's pic. Ashley Eckstein, voice actrss of Ahsoka Tano in SW:TCW, has a knack for remembering faces which has rightfully earned her place as a fan favorite.

Let's discuss Star Wars weekend at WDW's Hollywood Studios! Mike met Warwick Davis aka the most-sought after little person in Hollywood. This guy is awesome! While I've always enjoyed his work, he is now a bonafide comedic genius in my eyes. I laughed more at the 37-second video Mike took of them together than I do at 99.9% of shows currently on the air. As Mike struggled to place the iPad just so, Warwick's like, "Look at this! I'm not even in the shot; HE wants to be in the shot!" After Mike did his Leprechaun impression, he quipped, "Okay, now do it in an Irish accent!" and angled his eyes mischievously before demonstrating the proper recitation. Ah, humor and sharp wit...the perfect combination! And he's not a bad-looking guy in person #justsayin

It's hard to tell if Sam Witwer of the US' adaptation of "Being Human" fame is conceited or overconfident but methinks he's bisexual. Y'all should've seen how he looked into Mike's eyes when they did an improv skit together. He literally batted his eyelashes, tilted his head, and dilated his pupils. Plus, when he ran into him later on in the day, he said "Hey, why didn't you visit me again? I missed you!" Kinda flirtatious, wouldn't ya say? He responded to Mike's "I don't know...they cancelled the show" with a playfully outraged "son of a b....es". I was kind of surprised he'd risk a bit like that being recorded because we all know how grossly PC Disney has become (or at least pretended to be) for the past decade.

I'd place Billy Dee Williams' personality as lukwarm for the most part, but he has been known to be really nice or nasty, too. I think his heart is in the right place but is weary from the franchise's overexposure. Word is that he used to sign "Truely Yours, Billy Dee" but now he just signs his name. I guess people mocking the incorrect spelling influenced that decision. He only accepted 60 people at a time, so if you weren't there before 2:00 AM, then you'd have to wait all day to get his autograph and that wasn't even a guaranteed strategy. Due to his deteriorated health, he uses a motorized wheelchair, but has not lost his good looks in the slightest. Mike witnessed him being extra courteous toward a fellow wheelchair user and mention that he wanted to leave early because he missed his grandkids.

Jim Cummings, voice actor of Hondo, Darkwing Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and countless other characters displays his vocal talent whenever asked. In fact, Mike requested he say something to me in (Goofy's frenemy) Pete's voice via video. That gesture made my year! He even asked Mike what my name was so that he could properly address me :woot: But the House of Mouse doesn't always make dreams come true! One of Mike's friends asked a fan dressed up as Aayla Secura if he could take a picture with her but she apologetically explained Disney officials would only let her stay in costume if she declined photographs.

Finally, here is some inside scoop on Law and Order: Criminal Intent's episode "Salome in Manhattan". According to IMDb, it aired on June 28th, 2009, but I know for a fact it was filmed shortly before Thanksgiving in 2008. At the time, Mom was engaged to this sociopathic individual whose name shall remain anonymous for now, unless he somehow becomes (in)famous. Then, I will spill so much tea, y'all will be drownin' in that AND chokin' on the crumpets! I'm not gonna name-drop his identity because the freak probably has a google alert on himself. My logic is flawed because this could get back to him through other people, but at least the risk is lowered.

Moving on, he was close to earning his SAG card -- which as far as I know he still doesn't have because he was too cheap to pay the dues and lost focus -- and had deluded himself into believing he could be an actor. L&O writers birthed this blind ambition when they consulted him and a few others on their NYPD background and subsequently rewarded them with parts as extras. For whatever reason, the guy looked much better on film than he did in real life, so I'll give him that. Anyway, another man was needed for a particular scene in the aforementioned episode and apparently he had enough influence to suggest Mike. I don't know if he showed them a picture or what because God knows my bro doesn't have a professional headshot and would never consider such a career, but the casting department consented, and those two can be seen walking together in one scene.

Mike remained in his suit while he waited around the set. Although Vincent D'Onofrio wasn't in the episode, he heard a few crew members discuss V's preference as "leggy blondes no older than 25" and that "he was never seen with the same one twice". He described Jeff Goldblum as appearing to be just like the roles he's known for: quirky, sharp-witted, rapid speaker, etc. He introduced himself to the extras and Mike asked for a picture. Jeff obliged, and his image exuded a welcoming nature. Between his huge hug and smile, it'd be hard to tell which one was the star if you were unfamiliar with Jeff's work.

He also said that the director grew increasingly frustrated with Liam Aiken (aka Klaus Baudelaire) and referred to him as a punk because he kept fumbling his lines -- especially during the interrogation scene. He considered the director to be an easygoing person, so I'm not surprised that dude's career never took off. Hmmm, what else...craft services was awesome. Lol. And Chris Noth didn't appear in the episode but my almost-Stepfather claimed to be good friends with him. I thought he said that to impress Mom but he played us the vm C'd left wishing said sociopath a happy New Year. I've watched enough "sëx and the City" episodes to recognize his voice and that was undoubtedly it. Smfh. I hadn't been so disappointed in "Big" until that moment!

*Bonus: Mom worked in the same office as Rakim's sister for nearly two years. She kept a picture of them together on her desk and constantly bragged about him to everyone. Ugh.

I heard that rumor that JGL was getting with Michael P.itt, but I don't believe it.JGL is a nice dude and I've unfortunately been around MP and he's a fool. He kept trying to smoke indoors. It was a year ago! The smoking ban was not not a new thing.

Does anyone have info on CNBC anchor Joe Kernen? I watched his program an hour ago and it was akward to watch him because he kinda "lost it" on air. I mean, he wasn't rude to anyone or breaking down, but his emotions were definitely heightened and he was acting unprofessional. The camera was still kept on him for the most part, though, because you could see a "WTF?!" expression on his three co-anchors faces the few times it was zoomed out.

For example, I began to watch right before Egypt Sherrod of "Property Virgins" fame made an appearance because I wanted to hear a bit about the housing market. Well, when she came on, he asked her if she would be on the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and for the name of her agent. He also said something to the effect of, "Oh, I'm ready to be a 'Real Husband' of New Jersey". Since that was the only time he didn't look at the camera, I'm going to assume he wasn't supposed to discuss it or hadn't been given the offer altogether. Anyway, Egypt kinda laughed it off as she explained "I did get a call, but I love what I do too much! I'm not a housewife; I'm a real estate expert." Although that's not verbatim, it's pretty damn close. Lol. Then, she finally gave him the name of her agency, which he proceeded to write down before giving a name of a contact he'd call on her behalf.

As if his persistence on something he could have easily handled off-camera wasn't odd enough, he spoke for the two or three minutes before it cut to a commercial break and it was like he couldn't remember any facts pertaining to the seemingly random connections he tried to make: name, place, year, etc. In other words, each time he tried to make a statement, he interrupted himself by asking his co-anchors and crew (I think) questions. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the whole situation seemed wrong, and I've always prided myself on being a decent judge of character and what-not. My initial annoyance turned into pity once I considered that something must be going on in his personal life to influence this erratic behavior...

Jhud is a total diva since AI. Didn't talk to any of the other contestants or family members when they were backstage. She had a better than you mentality. Like she didn't want to be bothered. She also has vitiligo patch on her face.

Speaking of AI Simon's favortite in that season was Fantasia and she won of course.

Salma is a cokehead as well. She's rude to the crew and asked my ex boyfriend to score some coke for her.

Zoe is definitely of Dominican descent. Don't know why they typecast her for black roles.

Nelly is cool. Sociable to the fans.

50 Cents is laidback in person. He carries a large wad of cash around him. Likes to show off.

Whitney was gay. That is why she was battling her demons.

Eddie Murphy like light-skinned mix looking black women who are shorter than him. He's a loner. Doesn't go out much. Reclusive. I respect him though cause he has black people working for him and tries to get black people on in the industry if he can.
You be surprise that many black entertainers have only whites working for them.

Al Sharpton is really skinny and very short. He has male personal assistants.

Trey Songz is very egotistic.

Aretha Franklin didn't have gastric bypass she was battling pancreatic cancer at the time. That's why she lost so much weight. Was confirmed by a close source.

Old school tea... Soul Train's Don Cornelius was bi and a coke addict. Why do you think many male dancers on his show were gay?

MJ had a birthday party back in the day. A relative told me he didn't want to hang with the girls his age. Instead he was playing with little kids around Randy's age. They should have let him have a childhood.

I'll post more when I think of some more

Maybe because she's a BLACK Dominican?

Uh-NO! She just played one on TV. Her friends are White and white dominican. She takes advantage of the "ethnic" roles so she can get a check. Have you seen her at any NAACP awards show or fighting for an ethnic cause? Nope. Shoot she shouldn't be playing Nina Simone either probably didn't know or care to know who she was in the first place.

Old School tea... Stephanie Mills and Gladys Knight are very difficult to work with. They're mean and divas.

Michelle Pfeiffer use to be a call girl back in the day.

I don't know. but I could of sworn I saw something in a thread from last year or two years that said she still uses.
They both skinny probably because they don't eat either.
