Anne M. (O'Brien) Janiczek-Nees, 45, of Lower Gwynedd, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 in Abington Hospital, Abington, PA. She was the wife of Louis A. Nees IV.

Anne was Chief Human Resources Officer at GMAC ResCap.

She was also an active volunteer, devoting time to charities, civic organizations and her children's school and activities. She brought a wonderful energy to all that she did and joy to all whom she touched.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the Lina M. (Carls) O'Brien-West and the late Bernard E. O'Brien.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Bloomsburg University in 1990 and graduated from Temple Law School in 1997.

Survivors: husband, mother, son, Dalton; daughter, Carina; brother, Peter J. of Schnecksville.

Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena 18th and Turner Streets, Allentown. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville. Calling hours, 6:30 to 8:30 pm Monday at Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St., Allentown and 9:00 to 10:00 am Tuesday in the church.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Anne's memory may be made to Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (www.panreastcancer.org/donate) 2397 Quentin Road, Suite B. Lebanon, PA 17042.
