The graphics and music within this game were made by the authors of this game, Nubarin and Nanashi no Chiyo. (Small note: “dessert” and “odd” can sound the same in Japanese, as it is “okashi”).

Answer: You didn’t download and install the correct RTP. Make sure you’ve download and installed the VX RTP, not the VX Ace RTP.
