It's probably something real simple, but I'm pounding my head against the puzzle in the bottom left corner of the lab. I can't figure out how to get the tanks to the platform. Anyone want to help me out?

You gotta push the X's around in order to get the O to the o. The _'s are not actual spaces.

Numbering the Xs 1-4, left to right.

X2, Down 1
X1, Up 1
X4, Down 2
O, Left 1
X1, Left 1
O, Up 1
X3, Up 1
O, Left 2

I think there's a slightly more efficient way, but that's how I remember it.

The X on line 5 should be X2, not X1. I really need to figure out how to edit messages...

Got stuck on this one as well, had to pause and write it up to figure it out. But as Animaniac says, you want to go from here:

_[ ][ ][ ][ ]
o1 [ ] 3 4
_[ ]2O [ ]
_[ ][ ][ ][ ]

to here:

_1 [ ]3 [ ]
o[ ]O[ ][ ]
_[ ][ ][ ][ ]
_2 [ ][ ]4

I numbered your diagram.

Push crate 3 down two spaces.
Push crate 2 up one space.
Push crate 1 to the left.
Push crate 4 to the left.
Push the tank-O- up one space.
The path to crate 1 is now open, push crate 1 up one space.
Push tank into green area.
